  1. people always complain ,but i must say some of it is grounded, and i think after 6 years of ark ,U would think the game runs better ,the gen 2 servers r unstable crashing constantly, and tickets r not helping. Ark 2 i don't know about it if i wanna buy ,if u look at Atlas the same problems as Ark, why WC ,hire some people just for those fixes. The games r great, thats not were the problem lies, but servers maybe not great or give us the knowledge to whats wrong, why it runs like it does ,I understand that it's not easy to make a game.

  2. I can’t agree more. When servers are already unstable (most of all Gen2 servers) evo events really take their toll on the servers. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, server pop cap is 70 but most of them can’t handle anymore than 50. Especially if it’s a server that has been populated for 6 months or more. With stryder saturation of servers resource harvesting is a joke even on 1x. As far as taming, he’ll I remember the days of taming a spino or a quetz took 6 HOURS, a Rex took 4, so 1x taming isn’t terrible either. As far as breeding and raising, we have maewings, the days of hand feeds for 12-20 hours are gone. So what do boosted rates really do? Well they do allow players to “stock up”, but more over they wreak havoc on the servers, so with unstable servers during events do you REALLY get to enjoy the evo event? Objective thinking comes to the answer of “nope, not one bit”.

  3. Nah, I just don't like watching people hem and haw and hurl insults while also keeping their hands out for a treat they never needed. Rake wildcard over the coals for the buggy mess of a game we play, not because you or some other schmuck had other matters to attend to during a rate boost.

  4. Third comment from the top was fussing over the briefness of the event. Perhaps take your own advice before you presume to tell others what they need to do. As for "self righteous" by all means explain where I'm doing acting so. Last I checked the bulk of my commentary has been on how entitled people get when there's an easier solution to the problems they tend to talk about. Rude? Probably. Self righteous? Hardly.

  5. I'm not defending anyone. I'm stating facts. Look through the Crunches you'll see most of it is complaints regardless of what content is in it. That's a fact. Also people claiming server transfers have been 2 months for ages, if they bothered to research their claims they'd see they've all been between 2.5 - 3 months. Whilst Lost Island so far hasn't even been 2.5 months. You can claim i'm defending the Devs, but i'm pointing out facts is all.

  6. And Devs stubbornly don't listen to People. We DO LOVE Community Crunch when Devs put some effort to carry of the People who play their game. We dont need you moderators to stubbornly defend Devs. It's like the developers are spitting in our face and you are explaining that it's raining

  7. I mean yeah it really is odd. I didn't even Google it. The information is right here. Launch on 3 June: The Youtube video of the release, which we know always comes the moment of release: And how would you explain lots of Genesis Part 2 videos on Youtube dated 3rd and 4th June? And I guess all these people on Twitter were lieing when they responded to this live release announcement.

  8. I agree about the rates, I don’t even care about the rates that much anymore. Gen 2 servers are just barely slightly stable without boosted rates, and I use that term loosely. I care more about the stability of servers and the QOL aspect. Boosted rates don’t mean squat if the servers can’t stay up and running.

  9. Sparse though the CC may be at times it's comforting to know that there's always a healthy dose of salt from entitled players screaming for more boosted rates rather than just leaving official to look forward to in these threads.

  10. Guys.. guys... GUYS!!! Remember this: WildCard is only focused most for ARK 2 than the original Ark... we gonnna be left aside when ARK 2 will be released... so start getting the acceptation about been dumped. I started to enjoy very much playing Singleplayer often than Oficial... i just got ot reset stuff and to fed dinos. Official Servers are screwed since a long time ago... at least in Singleplayer you dont have Server Save neither struggle with Dupers, no Gacha towers even in Gen 2, and so on... Also... a lot of free space in every whole maps just for u. Singleplayer, you best choice.

  11. On the last day of the event, came across a max level event colored rex. I wasn't looking for one so I wasn't prepared (that is how it always is - the tames you are looking for are never there until you are not looking). But I got geared up and got him. A good way to end the event.

  12. [The Scene: Your point of view zooms in slowly on an old, wooden television set, an RCA CT-100. The screen, which is rounded on the sides, flickers to life, displaying the crimson letters “PNN” against a dark background. An opening theme begins to play as the zoom halts, and the picture on the TV changes to a news room, where a green scaled raptor wearing a navy blue suit is seated behind a news desk.] A concerned look on his face, he begins, “Good evening, and welcome to PNN, the Predator News Network. I’m your host, Marcus Ohreallyus. And tonight, we have more horrifying news for you from the base of the volcano where another mutilated Allosaurus corpse was found earlier today. We ask ourselves, what monstrosity could be doing this? To learn more, we’ll go to our Rex on the spot, Todd.” [A rust brown rex wearing a pale blue necktie appears on the screen. He’s holding a large microphone. In the background, you can see the base of the volcano rising up out of frame.] “Hello, Marcus,” he starts, “this is the eighth victim in the past two days, and all of them have had their brains removed. Predators here are on edge, especially Allosauruses. As to who could be behind this, opinions range from aliens to zombies to even . . .” [A rectangle of video pops up on the screen. The Carnotaurus in it has had his/her features blurred, presumably to help protect their identity.] “I’m telling you I saw the perpetrator, and it’s Santa!” it says in a voice that’s been heavily altered. “Santa?” Marcus interrupts, his tone incredulous. “Yes, Santa,” Todd replies with a wink. “Authorities, however, aren’t ruling anything out at this poi—“ [Todd’s audio is cutoff as a “Breaking News” banner flashes on the screen. The picture then changes back to Marcus who is listening intently to his earpiece.] After a moment, he addresses the audience. “This just in, there’s been another heinous murder . . . this time near the Frozen Tooth. I’m being told the victim is a Giga. Wait, that can’t be true.“ He pauses for a few seconds, listening further to his earpiece before resuming. “Yes, it is a Giga, and its heart has been torn out.” Marcus pales a bit as he listens further. “I’m now being told a Compy saw someone leaving the scene. Can you put him on, George?” A few seconds pass as the audio link with George the roving raptor-reporter is established. “Can you hear me, Marcus?” George asks. “Yes, I can hear you fine, George. Now, about the witness.” “He’s here with me now. Carl, please share with our viewers what you saw a little over an hour ago.” The Compy speaks in a reedy voice, “I didn’t see it happen, but I saw Santa and a tiny blue reindeer flying away on a light green wyve—“ [The television turns off abruptly. And reflected in the darkened glass of the screen, you can see me . . . in the Santa suit I got from the last event.] I turn to my blue otter, Boogles, who is seated on the other end of the couch. He’s wearing a reindeer antler skin on his riot helmet. “We need to change!” Slightly wide eyed, he nods vigorously in the affirmative. “Plus, we should see if we have any candy left over so we can alter Slynn’s paint job.” Boogles chirps in agreement and then heads for the fridge. (So anyway, this is my way of saying that I’ve been gathering the missing tribute for the Alpha Dragon. Still need one more Giga heart, though.)

  13. what makes you think making a topic is going to change everything I didn't need any whiny feedback on if they are doing their jobs or not. if they don't respond to you submission they are definitely not going to respond to this topic... stop crying. close this thread.

  14. Erm.... no. It did indeed "used to be" 3 months but has not been that for.... 3(?) DLC's now. I can tell you for a fact that it was changed to 2 months quite some time ago. So no - transfers do NOT open after 3 months. But nice try at being superior on the internet! However, maybe next time you stop and find out the facts of a situation BEFORE you make an arse of yourself in public 😄 Anyway, I'll be off now to go get a life or find some meds in my mum's basement or something equally "edgy"....

  15. OMG, all there's here is: "Blablabla 3x is too few, why not 50x, do it every week, oh why not everyday" "Oh god why transfers are not open, it's already been 2 months, even if the transfer only open at 3 months, why aren't they open why why why" Geez guys, get a life. On the community crunch sidenote, we need more informations yes, but even putting the patch notes in a part of it would already feel like we are not "stopped in time", just to feel that the team is working on something. That is my suggestion. We know a lot of things happen in the background, we just need to feel that too.
