  1. Why are you guys still here? If ark is so bad experience, you are free to leave and let rest of us enjoy it.

  2. Don't worry none of us actually expected it to be out on time anyway!

  3. Would be neat if they could change their breath attack or if they emitted a sound shockwave to stun and disorient perhaps.

  4. Xbox Island official PvE Started to gather building materials, the goal was to have most things ready so I can travel to Ragnarok. Lately the island server I'm on has been averaging 30-35 survivors, so lag has been a major issue. This has driven away most of the players who were well established when I started. I started with a small base in mind a approximate 8x8 metal box with most crafting items fabricator, Smithy and a few fridges. I left my main character on the island and using my alt character as the one I hope to travel onwards to other servers. On ragnarok I have a newly created main character which does more and more when levelling allows, my alt was useful in building as I had levelled weight and fortitude mainly for my planned SE move. I have gotten my new main character to about level 65 quite quickly. I haven't done anything worthwhile yet but just exploring a new map on a server which has low traffic has been a revelation. To such an extent every time I return to my main base the lag and login problems seem so much worse. Most of my time is spent bringing things i never though of in my pre-planning stage. Stuff you cannot live without like dedicated storage boxes. I think it is a shame you can't unlock Engrams which you own the dlc maps, without physically unlocking them when you are there. Mainly the element creating one on Extinction. Looking forward to starting my next post with 'Xbox Ragnarok official PvE'.

  5. I don't know where you are getting this "everyone who plays ark is thinking something else" from but the changes they are making based on community feedback, as per this Crunch regarding an open map and buildable map instead of what Gen I was, a walled off map with too much build restrictions, a lot of the community requested this. I for one am pleased they took on the community feedback from Gen I and made these changes.

  7. Lol, glad at least someone’s happy, also I recommend saving thoes structures for Gen 2... *sigh* no man. Just no. Also no. It is not comparable. It’s more like the ice cream man has to fly a drone from his house with trashy internet. And the drone is slower and less obvious then the truck, making it less effective. Optimist! Sorta.. anyway I agree Thank you Well it’s possible to by ark 1 for 10, or ark and the 3 old Generation DLCs for 20$, when it’s on sale, so u may be in luck. Yes!

  8. But what if the customer is actually very happy with the food even with all the order mess-ups? I will be buying Ark II.

  9. "We know that what you want is news on Genesis II, so let's not mince words and get straight to it: We have decided to push our final DLC release date to May 26th, for PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Stadia. " Ok, so that is kind of terrible news. Yes I did just say "kind of". While I am sure almost everyone will be, completely justifiably, enraged by this I am personally quite happy. You see, some short while ago I was having a chat, a debate if you will, with someone in a Discord about the Gen2 release and I told them quite clearly it would not be in March. No way. As you can imagine, we got a little "into it" and the result was a bet. I held fast to my assertion that in NO way would Gen2 be released in March and would be no sooner than May, if not June and quite possibly even later. They were equally adamant that as it had already been terribly delayed beyond what would be considered 'acceptable' there was no way any studio would let it be delayed further. Therefore we agreed that whoever was correct would receive from the other person the following: 100 large tek walls; 100 tek foundations; 200 tek ceilings; 4 tek dino gates & frames; 4 tek behe gates & frames; 2 tek generators; 2 transmitters; 2 tp's; 2 cloners. Honestly, I CAN NOT FKN WAIT for them to log in when they get in from work cos my new base is going to look awesome!! So a big THANK YOU WC - your continued ineptitude does actually bring great joy to (admittedly very, very few) people at certain times \o/

  10. No they didn't they changed the date 4 times. So they did release it on a date they said just not the first date they released. I am not mad I am actually entertained by all the people who did not expect this. I even chuckle at those who are angry.

  11. Well this all got dark real quick. I completely understand the hardship of working remotely so understandable to delay but please WC do not give up on streamlining the game. Many players have expressed the frustration with lag, dc-ing, aimbotting, and random freezing. Hopefully you can figure out what the actual monster-forsaken flippity flip is going on and if we can help please tell us how WITH some kind of logic to back it up. The best thing for this game, your studio, and the players is open-logical communication. Stay Healthy and rest well!

  12. I understand you but at this point you have to look to the saying "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me" Wildcard is notorious at this point for pushing back their dlcs because you have to know that ark is a big game and that they need their time to not just develop but write, think, draw, model, texture, and implement everything (not to mention balance when they do its hard with all the moving parts). would you rather have the unfinished thing that they most likely still need to test? Please just be patient and let them make the game especially since this is our big finale to our 6 year saga and they need to pull it big

  13. Haven't been on time for a single DLC or update why change it for the last one! I'm sure this one will be just as broken as every other initial release dlc and have exceptional excuses to cover it up. Thanks for another let down ❤️ Just curious when can we start expecting excuses and delays for ark 2?

  14. On extinction, I spent a lot of time flying in circles around the snow biome, watching every single snow owl through spyglasses and either murdering it or luring it back to my taming cage. I must have killed so many innocent snow owls, oh my. 😞 The spawn levels were really depressing, I think about two thirds were level 20 and below. I ended up taming 4 owls in total: 2 male 130s, 1 female 120 and one female 135. For now I've had enough of the snow biome, but I might try to find a level 150 one again next week. I transferred the owls over to the island, this time without any terrible accidents. I also had a scary encounter with a corrupted wyvern, which appeared out of nowhere and started to roast my poor argy with purplish fire. My argy was too slow to get away from the wyvern, and probably had too little melee damage to kill it (altough in hindsight, I think I should have tried fighting the wyvern). I watched in horror as my argie's hit points were going down, down, down, while trying to dodge the fire and also trying to come up with a plan to get rid of the wyvern. In the end, I managed to aggro it onto a wild bronto, and escaped with a very bloodied argy with ~2k hp left of 15k. Ouch. 😐 Spent the rest of the evening on the island, together with my buddy. I was waiting for my argy eggs to hatch, and doing farming / maintenance around the base. I cooked a ton of special kibble, farmed flint, farmed meat for the baby argies, and loaded up our of oil producing gachas with stone, since they had collected a ton of owl pellets that were about to spoil. We now have so much oil, it should last for many months 🙂 I will probably switch to a pair of sap producing gachas next. With an hour left on the agry eggs, I then got the idea of taming a queen bee. Beehives have been very rare ever since the last event ended, and our achatinas need veggie cakes. And really, how hard could it be? So I mounted our quetzal, put our dire bear on it's platform saddle, and started flying around the redwoods, looking for beehives. My buddy was following me on another flier, watching for thylas in the trees. We found an occupied beehive quickly, but after destroying it, I was not able to feed the queen bee, despite having the correct kibble in the last slot. We followed the queen for a while, but eventually lost track of her. We quickly found another beehive, but I had the same problem as before. My buddy started googling for solutions, while I tried again and again to tame her, without success. Then, the worst thing happened: a ugly, poopty, totally punchable jerk of a pegomastax appeared out of nowhere and stole the kibble. An entire stack of it, because I am apparently a very stupid person and put an entire stack of it into my inventory, despite knowing that I would only need a few. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh! Buddy and me slaughtered all dinos around us, hoping we would get the kibble back. I even returned to our base and returned on a snow owl, to use its heat vision. But we did not find the pegomastax anywhere. And that was the end of our bee taming attempts. I sure hope the damn pegomastax chokes on the kibble. 🤬 Buddy logged out, and I took care of the argy eggs, which were about to hatch. There were 35 eggs in total, so it was necessary to be selective. All the argies that inherited neither the high weight stat nor a decent amount of hp were led outside of our base and left to starve. Since there were still way too many baby argies left after that, I also killed off those with crappy stamina, unless their color combination was nice/interesting. This still leaves us with 13 argy babies, which is still way more than I wanted, but 10 of those have the "good" stats combo, and I just can't bring myself to kill these off, even if their colors are ugly. I keep telling myself that one day, I'll give them to a newbie in need, but the truth is that most of those argies will spend their entire existence inside a cryopod. I think I might have a slight dino hoarding problem 😇

  15. what no man just no, it is how it is they've always pushed back a release and always it was not their fault, so do not come here with no knowledge at all and be a white knight. 2 days before march release they tell us 3 month pushback, after we've already waited 2 extra month because it was planned for jan. what a joke again and then this ignorant fanboys that look through rose-colored glasses.... the last day you have posted over 15 replys on this site dude... omg nothing else to do?
