  2. Introducing Tropeognathus! Common Name: Tropeo Species: Tropeognathus mesembrinus Time: Cretaceous Diet: Piscivore Temperament: Neutral Wild Up close, Tropeognathus mesembrinus is easily recognized by the keeled crests on its snout, but with wingspans of up to twenty-seven feet, you’re sure to spot it before then. These large wings are not only ideal for catching air currents over its ocean hunting grounds, but they also let Tropeognathus draft off of other flying creatures by flying behind them. While not the fastest flyer on the Isles, when combined with its remarkab

  3. Hello everyone! I've played Ark for 2-3 years I think yet I'm still quite a noob. There is so much to learn and do in this game that I can't even feel embarassed despite all the bob barking on official. I've never really liked tek... many times I've got to the point in the game where I know it's time to start getting that stuff in order to move forward. I joined unofficial servers to get my hands on tek easily, so I could learn how it all works, but I always end up realizing that it's not about it being difficult. It's just that I don't care for it. Never been one for scifi in general

  4. PvP's Focus Is Too Offensive? I've noticed that a lot of major updates add more offensive weaponry/systems and dinos than defensive. Yea, we have the Tek sensor, but that's so underwhelming... Many argue that defending is easier than attacking, but the whole point of PvP is risk/reward, so if you want to risk attacking a base for loot, it should be harder by nature because you're "entering" their "fort." Much more time and effort goes into the defensive side of PvP over the offensive as well. Why make it increasingly easier to attack? I know the balance is hard to get right, but

  5. WC Acknowledgement and Response Procedures Is it too much to ask for a post to be created and flagged somewhere that basically says “Hold your tits! We hear ya and we are looking into the following reported issues:” I know it is laborious to respond to each and every poster individually, but adding a Currently Being investigated list might be nice. Just asking for some kind of acknowledgement to be available on Twitter, Facebook and Forums.

  6. Consider this though. Strong offensive minded changes are defensive as well. Strong offense can be a defenders best tool if they choose to 'counter attack'. So buffing offense buffs both.

  7. Idk, I always wanted a ARK 2 more based on the story of the explorers, because you know, after reading what they did, I'd want to play it to see what really happened. At this point, the only reason I still play ARK is for its story so yeah. Seeing other stuff like the Element war and things like that would be dope tho. I already see the title "ARK: Origins"...

  8. People aren't getting crushed by game mechanics. They're getting crushed by people. In pretty much every endeavor throughout the history of man, the person who's willing to work harder, sleep less, spend more, sacrifice more, learn more and bring more manpower will usually come out on top. You can change the rules of the game all you want, those folks will adjust their strategy and continue kicking the crap out of everyone.

  9. IMO, the currently available defenses are perfectly suitable to stop 80% of players if applied correctly. Nothing is going to stop the other 20%. They will blast through additional defenses without breaking a sweat.

  10. @STULthey would probably be way better since the ankys are mutated like crazy while the magmas are only at the beginning. They big difference is that you can use a crab or flyers to farm with the anky which makes him so mobile that the magma will never be able to compete against UNLESS you don't mind walking around slowly

  13. BREEDING TO ALL! I want all dinos to be breedable Megaloceros There are really no words for them letting the female model have holes in its head for this long. Come on! Brontos They really need to get those animations working! Not only do their legs look weird af, folding on themselves pretty much the whole time, but also the animation looks like they're taking mini steps all the time. Araneo How can we have creatues that climb walls and spiders are not one of them?! They don't need to be fast as far as I'm concerned but they really should be able to! I would also love

  14. The only thing I hope to see is a fix for Tuso hitbox. Mantas and other small dinos always get stuck in their head and there is no way to attack them or break free if you get swarmed. Either fix the head, or make the tentacle attack AOE around the head. Similar to how the giga bite can kill things behind it. Also make Tuso Eggs drop outside of the body.
