PS4 - Unofficial Cluster This weekend I managed to finally start transferring all of my dinos and stuff from my Valguerro base in the aberration zone, over to my preferred base location near the spire along the lake. It is a large flat space, so I started building a medium sized barn. I got it all done except the roof, which I will need to do, as this cluster allows dino pick up, and I'm wary of some troll picking up and moving my small dinos. I got all the necessary appliances installed except for a cooker, which I will do later. I transferred all of the resources and nearly everything else from the underground location. Just have some more artifacts back at the old location. I then transferred over some of my Reapers from Abberration, so I now have about 15 Reapers on Valguerro. I will use some of them to fight the broodmother, along with my Megatheriums. Over on Abberration, I ran into a cold streak with the Reapers, only getting normal looking babies, and finding fewer and fewer Queens. On Friday the server event was switched to Easter, so I had hoped for some cool colored babies, but I ended up only getting 2 colored babies out of 6-7 pregnancies, and the colors were boring. So I took a break and went looking for shine horns or other cool dinos. I decided I wanted some cool high level Abberrant Spinos, so I kept looking until i got back up into the Green zone along the river. I ended up finding and taming a pair of near max level Spinos. After demolishing my trap, it got dark very quickly, but I noticed a fire in the distance, so I made my way over to it. The name of the tribe was new to me, and the base was unfinished and mostly made from thatch walls. So I called out in chat since I could tell the person was online. A moment later the person arrived back at their base. naked with no light (in the dark of Abberration) I asked them if they were new, and he said yes, just started that day. He asked me a few questions, as he hadn't played in many months, and had forgotten how to tame dinos. He also noticed my Owl, and wondered how I got one. I told him that this is a 3 map cluster, and that I transferred over the Owl from another map that I had tamed it on. And that flyers were allowed on this map. I then went thru my inventory and dumped a bunch of stuff for him. (I had been hitting drops while searching for Spinos) I didn't give him anything OP, since I want him to work a little, but certainly enough stuff to make his life easier. He said thank you and I was off back to my base. I then hit the Drake trench and came away with about 16 eggs, including about 5 very high level eggs, and one that was I hoped a cool event colored one. Got back to base and transferred the eggs to Ragnarok, as I have a drake capable hatchery already built there. Hatched up the 5 high level eggs, and got 2 sets of twins, and I was correct about the color event egg, as it was bright blue and pink with black just like the one I killed while stealing it. One other was a bright green with Yellow. So I spent the rest of the evening raising and imprinting those, while working on my Rag base. I tamed a max level colored Anky, as I needed one for Valguerro, and I also went out and tamed some max level veloansaurs. I was really lucky, and found 2 max females and 1 max male in less than 30 minutes (The velos were added to the Rag desert) I plan on bring some Velos along with my Rexes and Yuty, next time I do the Rag bosses. Finally I was exhausted and logged off for the weekend.

As it has been a while since I played actively, I decided to hunt around and see what I had been working on - breeding wise. Sabers, Daedons and as usual my Pteras - so hatched and popped a few out. Im not looking for anything totally out there as I know I can get some from friends on the server at silly levels, other than Pteras as mine are one of the higher ones out there but my Saber came out at 259 with a high HP stat missing so that should be bred at 285 by the end of it, just trying to get a set of colours on it now too... could take me a few weeks. The Daedon came out at 265 but with a silly high HP stat still to go on it, so that should pop out 290 if my calculations are correct. Finally... finally... finally, I got a new (mut free) Stam stat from a friends random event catch for me. Its only a 517 but its better than my current clean 495 so I will trash all my old lines, get my clean line up and running again before getting my mut lines starting all over again with my new clean bird haha. For those who know me on this thread... my pteras have not had any new stats for a long long time

I'm still baffled by how the early access version of Fear Evolved brought SO many cools things and during full release, we're seeing only a tiny amount of added items and emotes ? I know you're working hard on the next expansion but go out and ask for the great modders to help out if need be. You're already sponsoring mods, so why not sponsor modders to create great holiday event items and skins?

PvP players... need your atention. I understand the events .. but fix stuff!! New cluster needed or reset official. Focus on the Cheaters fast.. ! you have a game with great potential ..but atm is just a massive fail. No one wants to play a bug / cheat/ aim /dup game ..

Well, a surprisingly productive day for me today. No luck on the red drops, naturally. In fact I only saw one today anyway and it had junk in it. I ended up doing some work around the base, got my forge back up and running and connected the greenhouse to the main base building. Ended up making space for another crop plot so I threw some more narcos down. Can never have too many with the amount of spoiled meat I generate... While I was scouting drops on my tape I was also just roaming around, looking at everything. Not much else to do these days. Found a 140 male tape. Lured him home to my taming pen and tamed him up. Sadly he's ugly and his stats don't do much for me, but at least I can breed with my female to get an imprinted baby with hopefully all of mom's colors. Also found a 145 iguanodon which I'm not sure but might actually have been leftover from the 4th of July event, since I haven't dino wiped on this map at all I still come across them randomly now and again. Tamed it because it also had stats I was looking for, didn't tame out as well as I expected but hey, it's blue and looks pretty. Also got a 174 tek para, I'm collecting tek animals mostly for looks when I get to tek tier. I have a neat raptor already too. Then I got super duper lucky on eggs. Got a double mut on my spino line, sadly not usable because of the second mut but it did get colors I can put together with one of the spinos I have saved for color morph projects, so that's nice. Then I got a new melee stack for the rexes. Almost immediately after that I got an HP stack to go with it. Awesome. So that's 6 melee and 8 HP and finally starting to hit numbers beyond anything possible in the wild. Honestly I think I did more today than all weekend. Pretty happy overall, and considering some interesting base expansion plans. Basically just trying to fill the gap while I pray for a rex saddle bp to rain from the red drops in the sky. Or the swamp cave, when I feel inclined to go back in there. Currently I don't, just bored of it now. Literally all I need on The Island is that bp, a female allo to breed with my 2 males, and a pair of basilos to breed for the underwater caves. That's it. Although tbh I might be able to make do with my spinos for the underwater caves as long as I can avoid the cnidaria. Their melee isn't the best but I have an asc saddle and my best one hatches with 9.2k HP, which doesn't sound like a lot compared to a rex, but is quite respectable for a spino. That's 61 points and about 4 muts shy of 10k base. It makes me very happy seeing how strong my death puppies are getting.

Based off the message that comes with the image and just the look of these objects themselves, I'm guessing this is some kind of new tek weapon or device.

Has no one thought of the fact with taxidermy we can get Dodorex and all the other event creatures for fear evolved and keep them as a trophy in our bases? Also, i think we might be getting an underwater gun.

I was half asleep and getting ready for work when I posted this morning, I realised about an hour ago that I had misread it. Still, no harm done and life goes on.

this one i have to argue, sorry, there are people who would just submit a support ticket saying 'my lvl 135 got wiped!' just to get a high level character. Without any proof that you did level your character up, wildcard can't know if you actually earned those levels or are just one of those people who would attempt to take advantage of the system. A simple method of proof of character, learn the taxidermy tool, and occasionally kill yourself, then taxidermy your character. that gives a visual record in game of your characters level, and is linked to the player id. likewise its not that hard to open your inventory once in awhile and press that F12 key for a screenshot to have further proof. When my character got wiped I brought another over from a different server, and my tribe mate added me back into the tribe, I then submitted the support ticket and included screenshots of my characters inventory screen, as well as a fresh screenshot of the most recently taxidermy character. We left the other character as a tribe member till the GM was able to join in and do his magic, they got all my babies imprints reassigned to my current character, and even gave me the missing levels. honestly it wasn't that bad of a process. during the time the ticket was submitted they were having a high flux of tickets coming in due to others having the same problem as me, and it took awhile for them to get to me to do the restoration, but it did get done, and had a nice little conv with the GM afterwards. I only lost one baby, a baby yuty, but it was a glitch that caused the problem, and i didn't bother to submit another ticket on it as it was just one baby out of 30 various dino's i had.

This morning was an emotional roller coaster of events. First while flying around trying to find obsidian and crystal so I can make more upgrades to our base I must have ended up where I died a while back because there up in the sky just flapping happily away was the pteranodon that I thought I had lost a week ago! I was on cloud 9 and I should have known that it wasn't gonna last because this game sucks like that... Made it back to base with my MIA ptera and the one that I tamed the other morning. Parked them in their area and proceeded to jump on my Arky to try and get some more metal and rock to finish the walls of the barn I'm trying to make before I leave for a week. Can we talk about the sensitivity of trikes for a moment. Because I didn't even see this one in my view and when I went to get some berries out of a bush I some how triggered this thing to attack me and down went me and my Arky..(RIP Bumi) Ok I'm upset that its gone but I got the saddle back and it wasn't that big of a level so I can tame another one. No big deal. So I start to run around and try and gather things that I need to get a tame going run back to base and I see my jerboas and dodos going crazy in the corner of our base and hear a ruckus outside. I run out and see that a raptor came and tried to eat my doedi which caused my lower level ptera to fly down and start attacking which ONCE AGAIN caused a trike to join the fight and dragged a turtle in the fight as well. When it was all said and done the turtle, trike and raptor were dead, but so was my ptera (RIP Sherri). Found a new Anky to tame and with the help of my GF who watched it for me while I got ready for work we are only down on bird. (Please don't die soon Toph) But on the plus side got some large planter boxes built and have crops growing so hopefully soon I can start making kibble which will help with taming of things and not having to rely on trying to scrounge for narco berries all the time.

Would love to see the maps tree color change to fall colors like the old days of ARK. maybe a winter event that turns the entire map into snow like in the early times of ARK.

I hope you are right, but I think the devs owe us an assurance after all the bases wipes that have happened in the past.

Doesn't matter what gets added to the game people will use it to grief. I don't play on a server where griefing exists, so yes I say bring it on!

if as stated they chew trough metal the best thing is likely to not play at all during the event to make sure your dinos and base survives, it sounds like the most idiotic event of all times.

I hatched my new wyvern on Val. An ice wyvern level 165, not too sure if the stats are good but he will surely help me get more eggs without dying a million times. Thought about taming but 2x ended and I was not feeling up to it. Tried to gather special eggs for kibble. Sat around my base and stared at my baby wyvern afk. Just waiting for it to grow now

finally a proper fear evolved and that weapon of some sort might be a new tek gun maybe some sort of grenade launcher

NA-PVE-CrossPlayOfficial-Valguero1172 Been a few day since posting last. Got the GF to start playing as well so now got extra help gathering and hunting. Tamed a new ptera and was enjoying being mobile again but that got killed by a raptor sadly. Tamed a Trike yesterday but got that one killed because apparently it has a Huge hit box and I hit another trike on accident trying to gather berries and it called its friends in to attack me and my trike. Got a couple dodos (Pinky and Hal Jordan) and two jerboas as well cause I love those little things. Tamed a doedicurus to try and help gather stone and metal and figured out that it doesn't gather metal so next on the list is a steggo which I've seen a few nearby. Also tamed a NEW ptera this morning as well so am about to fly. Made myself a raft to be able to go across the river to gather the good trees instead of the driftwood on the beach and I'm currently working on a barn to store all the dinos we have currently and any future ones.

Honestly I think there's just not enough information at the moment to conclusively know the premise of Genesis. If you recall at the end of Extinction, the last thing our character did was get their implant removed. Then, in the Genesis trailer, the first thing our character did was inspect their arm to find no implant. Then, at the very end of Extinction, you have the scene we know for a fact shows Aberration having crashed after the reseed protocol. If Genesis really does take place before Extinction (and the reseed protocol), then why even keep that scene in the game if it thereby has no relevance? I dunno, to me it just seems like Wildcard is trying to visually insinuate that Genesis takes place after Extinction. I could always be wrong, though. Again, some of this is just speculation. All we really know is that Helena is sending us to some (broken?) simulation with a robotic companion based somewhat off herself. And then that's it. We have a few vague descriptions of some of the creatures, and Helena appears to be communicating with something, but I don't think there's enough info yet to know anything about what the simulation is or was intended for, where and when Genesis takes place, exactly what Helena's endgame is (other than that she's trying to train us for something called "The arrival"), if the Aberration scene in Extinction has anything to do with it, or anything else. We can just guess for now. That being said, I kind of like the idea of Rockwell having some antagonistic role in Genesis Part 1.

Been a few weeks since I posted here but I made plenty of progress. As for my solo series, I am coming along very well on Aberration and I'm almost ready to take on Rockwell (gamma). - Built a tek replicator along with a proper base. - Bred some megalosaurus for a trip down in the red (drake eggs) - Hatched and raised a dozen 180+ rock drakes. (A 185 hatched at 380% melee!) - Got my hands on a first trash reaper, from a 85 queen. - Also gave birth later on this week to a 220 reaper (from a 145 queen). - Crafted a cloning chamber, for the upcoming reaper army. Just need to place the damn thing properly.... Regarding the solo video recordings, I did a few more, yet to be published : - Beta Broodmother. - Beta Megapithecus. - Gamma dragon. As for the ice themed map, I'll pause the work on it for now due to IRL constraints. In fact, I'm looking to change jobs and will undertake classes in cyberscurity at the university this winter. Just punch the trees! I never would have guessed that's effective. Can't wait to see what solutions you come up with in the Genesis simulation. Like... how do you build a fort on the open sea? Or in a volcanic hellscape? It's not all punching trees, mate." SNOW CAVE: "This place is dangerous! If you don't starve, the dinos will get you -- or the environment, or who knows what else. Thirty percent of survivors don't live to see a second day, and fifty-five percent don't make it past the first week. It's a little odd that they're called "survivors" when they're not so good at it. And I'm back to actually talk about the contents of the Chronicles. The notes themselves are mostly lacking in story. They tell more about HLN-A as a character than about the story of Genesis. First: HLN-A At first I figured that the Mini HLN-A was really just a Mini Helena, as in, Helena copied herself into a little drone for you, but HLN-A seems to be an entirely new person, with no understanding of Helena or how survivors survive. Any part of Helena that was put into HLN-A is a very tiny one so HLN-A can be considered her own person I suppose. Second: Genesis Pretty obvious but it deserves a point here. Genesis is definitely a simulation like people were thinking, and of course, this brings me to my next, final, and most important point, Third: Corrupted Avatar Skin What do you need to be in a simulation? An avatar of course! An avatar is what you play as in any simulation or game. In Ark, your character is your avatar of course. If you were playing goat simulator, the goat is your avatar. You get the idea. So of course, an avatar could be defined as a sort of fake body. It's you, but not really. You're just pretending to be it. A sort of you away from you. Now, if there is a corrupted avatar, then there are three possibilities: 1) The simulation is creating a fake corrupted thing for you to fight 2) The simulation itself is corrupted 3) The person controlling the avatar is corrupted Now, if you take a close look at the helmet skin, you can see that the glowing blue parts look very similar to the homo deus skins. So from now on when I say 'Avatar' I'm going to be referring to a Homo Deus's chosen physical form. With that out of the way, let's go over the possibilities. Number 1 is boring; we all know that's not going to be the case because it's boring. No one wants to play in the box where it's all fine and dandy, we're here to fight. I'm going to ignore number 1 as a possibility, I've only included it because the list would be incomplete without it. Numbers 2 and 3 are then the only real possibilites. It's a little bit hard to say which will be the case seeing as we know so little about Genesis so far, but I'm going to lean towards number 3. Why? I'm glad you asked! I've explained this before, but for anyone who hasn't heard me say this: Rockwell, as we know, became one with Aberration. It's as though he became an overseer, except he's still a person. The Homo Deus are uploaded consciousnesses, and Rockwell is connected to the Ark which would give him the abilities of a Homo Deus while still having a real physical body instead of just an Avatar like Helena (though he should be able to make an avatar if he so chose to.) Now, Rockwell is also corrupted, which means that if Rockwell is connected to the... "internet," for lack of a better term, then that must mean that corruption can also spread through the internet. Helena tells us on Extinction that there are lots of brain-dead (so to speak) Homo Deus, and what could be easier to corrupt than a something braindead? Basically, there's a pretty massive chance that there's some corrupted Deus which would lead to number 3 being the case. We also know that Helena can't go there, as she said so in the reveal trailer. Deus being corrupted would be a pretty good way to explain why she can't go there. All this said, number 2 is also possible, but it's equally possible to not be correct. Not enough info to go further (maybe, I might figure something out later)

Also, the new corrupted avatar helmet skin looks a lot like the crystal in the picture you mentioned earlier, just pointing that out.

Genesis chronicles just got released on all platforms

Hmm Given that it's called a bogeyman I'd say we could guess that the thing itself is pretty large and strong (you wouldn't call an araneo a bogeyman, it'd have to be at least 3x as tough imo) I'm thinking almost karkinos sized, but a bit smaller. I'm guessing that it'll lay beartrap-like webs hidden in the ground that immobilize you if you step into it. I thought it was referring to it and the survivors when it said "we". There are already humans there so I don't think we can assume anything from that word.

[LOG_RECEIVE] Unluckiest of all are the ones we never find. Given the above text, I assume that this is some spider creature that spits webs and lives in bogs (hence they say "The bog has a boogeyman"). It seems that if you get trapped in it's web, it will attack you and slowly drain you of health. I wonder how we'll be able to combat that...if at all. Also, is [LOG_RECEIVE] saying that there are more of itself? I mean, it's saying that someone or something is spreading rumors, and "everywhere", and also that "WE find the lucky ones in giant webs". Is it referring to itself and Helena, or, if it's a specimen-monitoring AI as necaradan666 suggested, more of itself, monitoring the specimens? Interesting.
