  1. Unfortunately another late night at work last night led to me not logging in. Luckily I woke up early and at least checked on all my babies and whatnot. Everything was fine. Logged in tonight, everyone was grown up and ready to breed. Also I had the foresight to throw preserving salts in my troughs so I still had an entire trough of raw meat left after I condensed everything. Didn't need to run meat or anything. Bred the spinos, culled 1 argent, bred the rest. Ended up keeping just 2 argents and nothing else. The new yutys have been quite the boon for eggs. Debating if I want to try for just one more female or not. Either way, made up 20 more kibble. The real bottleneck here is now honey since I only have the one hive. But, if I just make kibble as I get eggs instead of waiting until I need kibble I can stay on top of production. I could also just make another hive, but I don't think it's really necessary for the amount of taming I do. For spinos I'm happy overall with the current base bloodline, mainly I'm now looking for a good melee roll. Current high is 46, I know I can easily get over 50 so I'd really like to aim for that this weekend. I've got 55 HP and 58 stamina to work with, plus I can drop speed out of the line completely too. Argents I know I can get 60+ because they don't dump stats into speed, so I definitely want to aim for high weight and high stamina, already got 50+ on each but I can't see any reason to not push a little higher. This is just for utility, don't care that much about HP or melee though of course I'll keep those in my lines if I've got em. Velos need the most work by far, as I don't have any 7x difficulty tames from 2 weeks ago. HP, stamina and melee are all extremely lackluster, even for standard difficulty. I have the one bred one for caves, but I know I can do a lot better. I'd also like to try for some better colors. I also need to bite the bullet and just tame some rexes, no one on my unofficial is willing to share their boss rex lines for some reason. My friend I is but it's a fresh line of tek rexes, so we'll see. I do appreciate her being so open about sharing stats and bloodlines with me. I really don't understand why some people are so closed to the idea of sharing bloodlines. It's not like I begged for them for free, I'm offering to pay extremely well for 3 eggs. But since a lot of the active members have everything already, I guess they'd rather sit on their eggs...

  2. For the last few days I've just been raising two managamr babies (breeding pair) with amazing stats somebody gave me for some black pearl gachas last sunday night when he was drunk and they've been eyeglazing with the two baby female rexes i'll use to breed even more rex's. My private lil' army. And then I got a little bored and went to Ragnarok to see if there were any wyvern eggs to steal. I wasn't expecting anything at all as i've seen highest lvl99 on my two trips before. But got a 155 fire, 160 fire, 160 fire, 180 poison, 185 poison... guess what i'm doing this weekend? Guessed it - milk time with mommy dearest. I'll be busy in other words. ?

  5. So, I had the urge to play Ark again and found a PVE server that just wiped. Talk about good timing. Anyway, I definitely forgot a number of things since I last played. 1) I made like sixty stone walls by double clicking the engram each time instead of using “A” to create all I could at once. 2) I waded across a river without a care until the piranhas were nice enough to remind me that there may actually be . . . like . . . piranhas in the water. 3) This is a no flyer pickup server, and I didn’t clear the immediate area along the swamp edge before going to tame a snail. I had to fight off four snakes, two crocs, and a wayward dilo, all while dancing around the unconscious escargot. Plus, I then had to lose the agro of the paracer I accidentally stabbed, and his pal, before coming back. 4) Thank goodness there were no kapros: I definitely didn’t forget about the kapros. *Shudder* 5) Being on top of a very high place with nearby drop-offs and lag may lead to gravity exerting a . . . um . . . sudden gravitational force. 6) High-melee and low level dodos don’t go well together when you just want to knock them out. One of the new things I learned, I learned after dismounting an anky and getting stuck between it and the wall of my base. I used the cool new teleport thing, from a mod I’ve never used before, to get free. Woo Hoo! Of course I didn’t think about the teleport radius, so I spent the next ten minutes looking for my two ankys who were giggling at me from on top of the greenhouse. *Sigh*

  6. I really hope you aren't a team member of W.c. talking like that is abundantly clear why the community thinks of what it does about W.c. 9 gigigabyte update with a couple sentences of problems that should've never existed. Abundantly clear W.c. doesn't know what they are doing. "Hey we know the games broken butttt, heres more content"

  7. What? tek is immune to radiation? When did that happen? Tbh am still in the testing phase, checking the idea worked before commiting to the plan. Was planning on metal structures just in case but I think stone should be more than enough so could probably advance the plan.

  8. Whatever works man, I have no idea about the red zone. I mightve been mistaken on exact coords spot tbh he only showed clips of the trap location in the video i skimmed haha I was around the red zone last night for giggs to test out tek suit - our quality TEK bps will make dealing with stuff there a lot easier im sure - got pinned twice by raptors and my lowest dura (helm / gloves) barely took any (when we say barely .. 10% dura.. ark needs to work out dura damage a bit) Anyways, we will work it out I assume you're almost ready to get this going? Ill have lots of time to grind this weekend

  9. Just wish I could show you the video haha. Hhhhmm. Not sure reapers spawn close enough to the drake trench ? Also I think theres a limit on how far you can build down there. Basically you cant build in the trench ? My current thinking is building it in the purple/red transition zone and kiting the reapers the short distance. Forcing a high level to spawn is going to be a nightmare. Its just so dangerous in the red zone.

  10. Didnt go on the server today, did think about it for the evening but the update put pay to that idea. I did muck around on singleplayer for a bit earlier today to test out my plans for reaper taming, in otherwords checking if I can get a reaper queen to teleport safely up into the fallen nexus and out of the red zone. Started off by testing out what I could and could not do with a teleporter. Had visions of having the reaper and teleporter separated by a ceiling but nothing would teleport with that technique. I could however teleport a creature into a suspened ceiling with the teleporter below it. This way it keeps the teleporter (not that I think reapers can damage teleporters) safe and prevent the queen from burrowing. Once I was happy with the setup I went down to the edge of the red zone and layed down a pitfall trap over half a teleporter on the floor, with the other half being separate so that I could use it safely. Using a rock drake I kited a reaper up from the red zone and into the trap successfully. Cryoed the drake, jumpted on the teleporter and activated the teleporter. The jump was successful and the reaper was into the holding pen I had created way up in the Fallen Nexus. Used heavy turrets to bring down its health and tested impregnation. The reaper got me and the important bit was that it didnt burrow after so my plan should work. Am definitely going to employ a few safety features and double up on the security of the holding pen on our cluster server. I dont want a reaper queen of any level never mind a high level one getting loose near our or others base. I can just imagine d1nk waking up to find our base wiped by a loose reaper or even our friends next door.

  13. its tuff dealing with us... we are so invested/addicted to the game you helped shape that we get a little crazy, you did good jen, good luck, oh heres a idea iv just had while writing this...... can we get a 1 LIFE SERVER ??? (*as a experiment) you only need 1 SERVER running, it would fill with 70 players, they all get 1 LIFE, then when they die the get kicked, event/server lasts 2 weeks, at the end the remaining players win... ideas for days, hit me up

  15. It’s been a year sense small tribes came out. Console hasn’t gotten anything new server wise in that year, we need new content! Can you please announce a new set of servers, a new map, or at least what the future of ark is. I love this game and I’d hate to see it die, so please give the community something to look forward too.

Note: The goal was originally to post a video format but we had video issues while filming and decided to use the audio and do a podcast format instead. The Great Migration! Once again it is time to remove some of our lower population legacy ARK servers on PC, Xbox, and PS4 from our Official legacy network. Over time the ARK population has migrated from legacy to non-legacy and in its wake left many servers with low populations. Here is a quick breakdown on how this process works: Taking Down Low Pop Servers With calculations based on sustained player-count as well as popularity of game mode we will be removing lower population legacy servers, most of which retain a 0-4 player concurrent population. These servers will be taken offline on June 11th. Any existing server that is not considered a low pop server and is not taken down at this time will still exist on the Legacy network. Legacy servers will continue to remain on a separate cluster from the new cluster, which means you will not be able to transfer anything between Legacy servers and the new servers. Servers Up for Deletion Below is a complete list of the LEGACY servers that will be deleted come June 11th. You have from now until then to move your belongings onto a server not present on this list. Please click one of the links below. They are separated by platform (PC, Xbox, and PS4). How To Move Servers If you are unfamiliar with the process, you are able to upload your items, creatures, and player through the Obelisk terminal, supply drops, as well as the Tek Transmitter. Survivors are advised to use Cross-ARK immediately to relocate their belongings onto a server that is not included in our take-down list above. Server Saves of Deleted Servers We will make the save files available as soon as we can. We will host the PC files which anyone can download and then you are welcome to re-host the save file for your own use. We'll include a link to where you can download server saves in this post when they are available. Nitrado will also be able to provide the saves for use on Nitrado servers for console, as they have done in the past. Evolution Event! Survivors on all platforms will be receiving a special Evolution Event perk this weekend! It will be active from Friday the 7th of June at 1 PM EST until Monday the 10th of June at 3 PM EST. All Official Servers across each platform will be undergoing this evolutionary change which includes: 2x Harvesting Rates 2x Taming Rates 2x EXP Rates That's it for this post! 17. Aberration - Private Xbox Cluster Made a fresh start on this map. Chose the fertile lake but I’m now regretting this decision because metal seems to be a great distance away. Built a little 3x3 shack in between some metal features, and slowly converting it to wood. I’m surrounding by actual high level dinos which I’ve died to a few times such as Carno’s and Raptors but I’m not at the stage where I can tame them yet. I plan to build a taming raft in the lake so I can at least tame something here before I move on. Last session though I had to put the game down due to severe lag or that’s what I thought it was but it was actually a client to server synchronisation issue. I thought I was walking along side the lake but I was actually drowning a little ways out into the lake and killed by Mega Piranha.

  18. these r two forums that me and my friend james have made about a ocena dlc, go check them out if u want a water map, @Atlantis, @SaltyMonkey and @Greatchawhee, anyone else aswell, we to want an ocean map ever since scorched came out. On a side note, i did say in another thread that they would be adidng creatures from ark aditions into ark for its birthday, also if this is true then i belive it could be a the deino, i hope so, and look at the facts, ark likes to ad well known dinos, have easy names to spell, or reasonable easy names to spell and take now r adding things from mods, so honestly it points towards a deino, i will rage raid wildcard like a giga or crack and steroids then rage quit if wild card tease us and it is just a skin or another useless item?, dont screw this up or u will se me charging at u with an endless army of gigas, reapers and anything else that will gladly eat u. if this is a new dinos or new useable content, then yay for wildcard.???
