You'll be able to paint select regions on the egg as well as free-hand paint it with the brush to paint any design on it. Be creative! There will be three competitions with a prize to the winner of $100! PC Egg Painting Console Egg Painting Real-life Egg Painting The first two are self-explanatory and make sure in your entry to state whether you're a PC, Xbox, or PS4 user. PC players will be in one category (using a mouse) and console users (using a controller) in another category to make things fair. Players are expected to paint their own designs and downloading templates or images to use is not allowed. In the third category, we're looking for you and your tribe mates to get together and paint some eggs in real life that somehow reflect the world of ARK! Screenshot or photo quality won't be taken into consideration but try to get a picture that best shows off your egg. The entries will be judged by our community team. Submissions are limited to three eggs per survivor, so choose your best egg. You'll have the month of April to enter, with April 30th being the final day to enter. Submit your images in the comments below, and we look forward to seeing your creativity! Update on Meshing... “Meshing” is the common term used to reference a variety of exploits in the game that involves going under terrain or behind walls to access unintended areas. While under the terrain, an exploiter may build bases, turrets, and a multitude of other things that prevent fair and fun gameplay for everyone. There are many ways that a player can access these areas but one of the easiest and most common are holes in the mesh itself. The term “collision” in games is what prevents players from being able to go through what would otherwise be hollow 3D objects. Some areas and objects have incorrect collision and provide easy access to areas behind terrain. Other cases of meshing can happen as a result of items in the game or the gameplay functionality they allow. Items like chairs, climbing picks, and platform saddles can be susceptible to exploits like meshing due to how they manipulate the player character. Meshing has been a hot topic within the community for some time. Behind the scenes, we have been identifying these vulnerabilities by attacking them at different vantage points. Our ideal goal is to prevent players from getting into the mesh in the first place. We actively look for areas in maps where collision can be improved or tweaked to avoid the occurrence from someone purposefully or intentionally getting under the terrain. We are happy to report that this upcoming patch (patch number) has considerable improvements in this area. Since prevention is the preferred method to tackle meshing, bugs in items that allow players to access areas behind terrain are a priority for the gameplay team. Players in unintended areas are in violation of our Code of Conduct and it is something we take very seriously. The Enforcement Team has employed the use of new data and metrics in an effort to combat meshing and investigate each case thoroughly. In many cases, they are preventing minor issues from becoming substantial ones. The mesh detection tool has provided the Enforcement Team with new data that enables them to act quickly and efficiently. If the mesh detection tool becomes more refined, we plan to integrate it on other platforms (like console) to reduce meshing exploits in a more automated fashion. The Enforcement Team has seen a noticeable drop in reports related to meshing because of these implementations and we feel we are making positive strides towards eliminating this issue as a whole. If you are aware of meshing or exploits that are happening on PC, please report them here by selecting Report Abuse and filling out a quick report: https://support.survivetheark.com/hc/en-us/requests/new# We will continue to keep you updated with any significant advancements on the topic. It is and has always been, an important topic for us. Update on Recent Lost Characters... Please see our recent announcement if you were affected by the recent rollback that occurred on the Official Server Network. If you have not submitted your ticket yet, please do so here. The Customer Service team is still actively working through tickets. Evolution Event! Survivors on all platforms will be receiving a special Evolution Event perk this weekend! 2. Thanks Salty ... I have always been a Playstation person. (well since my Sega & Nintendo days ended). I just cannot get used to the Xbox controllers ... I hate them. everything (buttons, sticks, knobs, triggers) is in the wrong place. ? I'm too old and stubborn to change now, but I do appreciate the kind words. I too enjoy reading your along with Cymas, D1nk, Saltire's post on a regular basis. It would be fun to play with a regular group ... but I just can't switch over to the dark side of console gaming! LOL.

  5. Spent most of the time I was playing fixing up my forge boat. Only had a few hours because Game of Thrones was starting today and wanted to watch a bit of Season 7 before 8 started Gave one of the new players 30,000 thatch.... ive been grinding for 2 days and just threw everything in storage out of laziness. Well he was thankful! Worked more on the boat as Saltire was doing runs around, went to the SE island quickly to get some pearls for a few turrets on top and then took off to the canyon. After navigating through the river Im not going to bring any tames this way on the boat.. the one Argy I had (even with a raised storage platform) kept getting knocked off and chased by spinos. Finally made it to the Canyon. I rarely go down to ground level here, forgot how dangerous it was. Raptors, spinos, baryonyx everywhere! Parked the boat on a semi-safe spot that I know a drop spawns at (easy transfer into cloud and nice loot now and then) then went up and grabbed all the raw metal Saltire farmed up earlier, threw into forge. I.love.keypads. The new boat I put keypads to good use. 4 different pins for different stuff: one to open front doors to forge, one for back doors, one for the hatch and another to turn turrets on/off. Love it. Did a small metal run before logging for the night. Got a big job interview (wish me luck!) That ive been applying for over a year to get.. im 3 interviews in and go for my final one Wednesday! Finally can make some good coin.

  7. PS4 - Unofficial Server - Ragnarok So Saturday morning, I decided to try something different, and I went back online and randomly selected a PvE server. First one, I spawn in, and INSTANTLY, my food and water levels are at zero, and I am dying. So I run into the water drinking and eating the berries that are growing right next to the water. While all of this is going on, the screen keeps showing me all the engrams I automatically get.... like EVERY engram. I step out of the water to grab some more berries, and instantly, I'm dying of thirst again. run back to the water, and now I am starving again. What the heck? Needless to say the settings on this server are screwed, and no wonder no one was on it. Take 2 - try another random server .. .description was in German, so not sure what it says. Spawn in, and as I start distributing my attribute levels, I notice that this server too is giving me all of the engrams automatically, and I realize I spawned in as a level 100. So I click on stamina to add a level, and my Stamina jumps up to 23,000, then I add to weight, and it goes up to 1 Million! So this is a hugely boosted server. Oh what the heck, let's just roll with it. So since I'm instantly a level 100, I am able to tame up a Ptera and make a saddle for it right off the bad. (I bola and punched it out) I then fly around the map looking for a place to set up. Viking Beach is full with huge bases, as it the area near the blue OB. Some idiot has blocked off the bridge across the chasm near the center of the map with lock dino gates. Yet they don't even have a base there. Just did it to prevent people from using the bridge. I decide to set up in my favorite spot at the top of the Butte not far from the bridge. So this server is god-boosted on stats for human/dinos in stamina, & weight, and increased for health, melee and oxygen. Plus the gather rates are astronomical. The dinos go up as high as 300 for normal (I saw 500+ levels in the ice cave) and the taming speed is way fast. (A rex took about 65 arrows to knock out, but then tamed up in about 10 minutes.) Bottom line, within 6 hours of starting, I had a complete stone base fully enclosed, with 2 Behemoth gates and 4 dino gates. 2 rexes, 3 Pteras, and 3 Argies, 2 Griffins, and a Raptor. (By making and leaving UNlocked a couple dino traps) It is like ARK on steroids and speed. I decide to log back on Sunday morning, and this time I notice the beginning message (in German) says a bunch of words, and then PvP .... well the server selection screen says this is a PvE map, so this has me thinking that maybe the server switches to PvP on occasion ... maybe that is why the rates are so boosted,? So I fly around some more as I look for dung beetles, and I notice that many of the biggest bases are also totally defensed for PvP as well. Plus I notice that there are also Abberation dinos (roll rats, ravagers) walking around wild on this map. Plus I saw tamed Owls, Drakes, and a tamed corrupted Rex!) Fast forward to Sunday evening, and I have my base defended with 20 turrets, 300-400 rounds of ammo in each, 40 plots of Plant X growing, and I added a Tek Parasaur, a trike and 3 beetles to the gang. Then a guy on a dragon lands on the top of my base, and spends 5 minutes attacking the base (but it is still PvE, so no damage, and my defenses aren't reacting. I go outside to see what is up, and he shoots at me with an assault rifle like 200 times (except no damage) Then shoots of fireworks into the air for a couple minutes. I just look at him, emote salute, and go back inside. He gets back on his dragon and stomps around the outside of the base from a couple more minutes then flies away. Weird. I'm curious to see if the server changes to PvP during the week maybe? When I get home, I will try to use google to translate the server message to see what is going on. Because this server is so extremely boosted, it was super easy to get so much done in a short time. So if I log on tonight, to find I have been wiped by a raid, I really don't care it was kind of fun to not need to tame so many dinos, just to grind out a base. Ridiculously easy, but still kind of fun.

  8. I did the usual (that everyone does), raise babies. This weekend was different however. I left the Center for the first time in ages and left the Wyverns, Rexes, Yuty, Pteras and Dimorph just eating away whilst I spent and evening on SE. Picked out a lovely Thyla and 190 Ice Wyvern and my tribemate and I went off to do cave runs. Now I havent been back here since having to do the caves on foot - behold the cryopod! This made life so much easier, mantis', bats etc pew pew! It was fun to stalk around taking out everything with relative ease as I remember the times before always seemed like I had taken 2hrs to complete it. It was a refreshing change to do the 2 caves again and it gave me an idea for the Sunday game plan too. So I fed all on the Center whilst it was x2 and then waited for tribemate to get on. He liked the idea of some new Glowtails rather than raising our 310 Spinos. I wanted a few Shinehorns so off we went on our Rock Drakes with Ravagers in some pods. I hadnt done any Ab caves yet so we were both a little hesitant as there seemed to be Raptors everywhere... slowly slowly we made it through to where we could see Glowtails and he snapped up a 140 so he was super happy. A few others we got and made our way across various obstacles. The artifact! Another off the list. A few close calls with an electric eel and big croc, a karki too, but we survived and then went on our way for some Shinehornds. To cut this story short... I saw 3, and they were all of low level, looks like all our luck was on the Glowtails. Overall, ARK reminded me that its worth branching back out to the old servers once in a while

  9. Well yesterday was a day of days. I do not often have an entire day to game but yesterday was that day. I tested most of the aspects of Ark. So I needed an Anky for my Island base to farm metal on the mountains. Going up with my Argie and a pick wasnt very efficient. So I thought that the best idea would be to fly up collect a full Argie of metal and while its cooking off get my Anky. As they say no plan survives first contact. On the Mountain top were 2 Rexes. In an attempt to kite them off the mountain top I got stuck between the,m and one lvl 200 Argie was Rex food......they ate me off his back and then he never stood a chance. Cloud has gone into the clouds. Okay so now I don't have an Argie to collect Metal....down to one Argie. However I have 2 eggs in the Fridge. So I set to breeding the 2 of them. DEFINITELY underestimated the meat required. So in between farming resources I am collecting meat like nobodies business.......Head up the mountain collect some lovely meat and on the way back I am wondering what that lovely red glow is in my taming pen. As I get closer I realize it is non other than a Alpha Rex eating my dinos. So now on Rag I am down to my last Dino (Mardre the Argie). So while collecting meat I am also attacking said Rex with arrows and my Argie in an attempt to kill it before my entire base and 2 baby Argies are Rex fodder. Fast forward a few hours and we have a dead Alpha Rex that gave me sucky drops, a broken Base, an Argie that has minimal health and me running around with a pike trying to collect meat. Finally get the Argies to grow up and get more metal. Tame an Anky and now I have my metal team for The Island. That works out well. Collect enough Metal to make a Large Glass tree platform (Platforms plus), find a place for it near the Red Obelisk and start building (going to move it now to the Green Ob I think). So the day ended on a high after much messing around and and and I got a Ascendant Rex Saddle Blueprint. So a WIN of a day all told.

  10. Started my day with some ptera taming. Hadn't really planned on keeping any but I decided it would be a good way to get wyvern eggs. Tamed 3 and bred one pair, hatched some eye searing magenta twins cause of the event colors. Got them started then took the griffin out for a long flight. Originally I was going to tame more thornys but I ended up running drops instead. I am lacking so much in gear and good BPs, and especially I was hoping for some good fur. Eventually in my travels I ended up near the scar, which was oddly empty. I don't know if someone did a run previously or what but I rather cautiously flew in and did a short pass. Came out with a 155 poison wyvern egg with absolutely nothing around to aggro. Well. Guess I didn't really need those pteras after all, huh. Feeling a strange mix of triumphant and like I wasted my morning, nonethless I'm happy to have an egg even though I won't be hatching it until next weekend. Posted the pteras for sale along with my beaver, which I don't need with the thornys around anyway. Then we took another long flight out to the desert biome. Over the course of the afternoon and evening we did a total of 4 desert drop runs, picking up some pretty nice stuff including 2 pieces of fur and loads of bps I'll never use. I also found a black 145 sheep wandering out there, of all places. I wasn't going to tame it originally but I had nothing else planned so I actually flew back to base to make a cake and get Raven the argent, then hauled all the way back out, tamed the sheep, and uploaded it at a drop. Then flew to the blue ob, got the sheep, flew it home, and switched back to the griffin. Turned out to be worthwhile, as the sheep tamed with 45 in hp. I'll be able to start my super sheep line right away. I also tested the fur out by doing a run on ice wyvern nests, only found one level 90 egg and no wyverns in sight. I'll probably use it for kibble or give/trade it away honestly, a 90 won't be useful for anything when I can already at least use the 155 to run more eggs. Or the sacrificial pteras. Already thinking about rebuilding my base, honestly. I'm not happy with it and it's too small anyway, I'll have to knock a wall out just to raise the wyvern. Ended the night by grinding and stockpiling more of the usual metal/narcs/sparkpowder/gunpowder and organizing things a bit more.

  11. Very Productive day! Raised a few Thyla in the morning, got a health mutation first baby.. 6.3k hp. Took my thyla for a run for hide and then crafted an asc saddle bp we had. Mindwiped and still only got 2.5% t.t Did a bunch of farming. Did a fly to the canyon, ice cave, dams and when I got back the SE crystal cave. Built a small floating outpost in the ocean outside the crystal cave and parked an extra argy, anky and a thyla there. Did another crystal run to make an industrial grinder. Got back home and pretty much grinded for hours trying to get level 80. Did an obsidian run, some crafting and re-did the motorboat I was using into some sort of farming boat. My plan is to encase an indy forge in it, equip it with all the things a good metal / crafting outposts needs while keeping it slim enough to sail up Canyon river to park there to smelt. I can take it to any of the big metal spawns (des. Cave for eg) via Ocean. We will try it for a bit and if it isnt working can always pick up the forge and place in base. After working on the boat for awhile finally got a design that isnt too terrible and hit level 80. Crafted an industrial forge, fiddled with placement on the boat for a bit then logged off. I plan to finish the boat today and test it out

  14. Ragnarok Unofficial Server Started off metal farming in the canyons, filled up the indy forge on d1nks motorboat and let the metal cook up. Flew back to base filled up the fabricator with mats to craft polymer and the grinder with stone and wood and grinded up a few levels to level 82 while I AFKed and did a few other things that needed doing. Crafted up a chembench (finally no more mortar and pestle) and a industrial forge now that I was the appropriate level. Installed the chem bench in the base crafting area. I took the forge and installed it into my carrier motorboat. Took a bit of converting and some inspiration from d1nks boat but I got it in and functional, even if its a bit of a tight squeeze. The only problem is the boat is now at structure cap. Took the Ark Royal on her maiden voyage now that she was complete and docked her in the south by d1nks crystal farm outpost, I really need to learn the whereabouts of the metal and crystal here, I know its a good location but I have never used this area. Flew my argy from the south to the canyons to grab some crystal and metal. Just as I entered the murder snow I noticed a beautiful white ice wyvern rampaging about a forest outcrop. Checked the level and it was a 180!. So I quickly checked the coords to the closests nest and low and behold I found a 180 egg in the nest. I was in luck and the egg was fresh. So I threw caution to the wind and nabbed the egg and made a beeline north. The angry daddy wyvern gained ground (or should I say gained air) on me but I got lucky and it lost aggro over the ice lake, obviously a mammoth was more interesting. Grabbed some crystal and metal at the canyon outpost and flew back to base. Need to decide what to do with the egg. Keep it on Rag or transfer it back to my main character on the rest of the cluster, so I stuck it in the fridge for safe keeping. Crafted up another industrial forge, this time for our mainbase. Had a go at placing it but I think I need to expand the crafting area to accommodate it, so I left it in the fabby till later.

  15. Having read some other adventures i feel my third day of playing this great game are somewhat minimilist. I spawned in, viewed my surroundings and immediately pounced upon by a Raptor, dead. Respawn in a different location, trapped in by spikes, great a real funny player has blocked exit from my spawn point, excellent. Restart. A nice open beach, no imminently pouncing reptile. All seems well. I haven't been able to survive 3 days so far, this time I'm determined, focused and maybe a little desperate to actually achieve something this time. I find a nice open space just off the beach, finally somewhere to build that's out of range of other players. I get to work.... Soon a fine thatched structure stand before me. I bath in my building prowess. Now how do i tame dinosaurs hmm. A quick Google later i have my slingshot, bolas, wooden club, narcotics are made and food in hand. I step onto the beach with a vicious glint in my eye, who's first. I'm still unsure of genus of dinos but the one called Elvis in popular films is giving me an insulting look. Bolas fly true, she's taken such a beating from my club that it snaps and she's off like the wind. I haven't come this far to lose. I chase her down and finally render her unconcious, fed and tamed she arises as my first. She looks fine so i name her Majestic, i'm so proud. Homeward Majestic and carry my stuff. Back home i decide that i need to change thatch to more sturdy wood as i had to fight off smaller dinos during the previous night. Back to chopping trees... Part way through renovations i find the turtle looking dino walking out front. An idea occurs to me, this could be my second. Bolas fly, slingshot breaks, Majestic attacks but finally with the help of my fists i ko another. Oh i am unstoppable. I call Majestic back to her spot by the house, good girl. Right, narcotics and food for my soon to be new pet. As i enter the house to get them i hear a strange sound, a cross between a cry and a scream. I turn to see my new unconcious pet being eaten alive by a very angry looking Raptor, by the time i start to pull out my spear its to late, my new pet has died and the Raptor has turned its greedy eyes on me. HELP ME MAJESTIC. She throws herself into the fight but it isn't going well for her. I rush to help, trusted spear in hand. As i take my first thrust i can already see i'm too late. Majestic rears up, squeals in agony and falls defeated. I stand in shock, she can't be gone, we'd just found one another. As the first tear starts to fall the Raptor leaps and i am eviscerated. Respawn back at my sleeping bag at the home that will never be the same now, i realise i was too quick the Raptor is still here, i can here it outside and the frontdoor is still open.... I approach cautiously and spy the evil fiend out there. It turns its head and sees me, lets out a cry and is coming, rapidly. Ha, my house is mainly wood i have no fear of you, i think as i shut the door in it's face and step back. It is then that i noticed the space above the doorframe is empty, i hadn't got around to finishing the thatch to wood changeover. The empty space is filled suddenly by an evil, teeth filled face as the Raptor jumps the doorframe and lands straight on me. Dead, again. Throw controller down, turn off Playstation. Ah life on Ark.

  17. Today i tried out some new things. For the first time, i tamed a Therizino. Tbh. I always hated them, they are annoying in the wild and look silly. But now, after i found a 130 Theri, i've to say, they are dope. They are really good fighters and harvester. I just wish they get a weight reduction to wood, fibre and all this stuff. After I tamed the Theri, i transfered him and my character to The Center and wanted to get some levels in the jungle cave, where i found a lvl 140 Megalosaurus couple. So I returned to The Island, with a good Theri and a mate boosted Megalosaurus pack. Later that day, I also tried to tame my first Quetzal. I couldnt find any at the Red Obelisk, so I tried my luck around the Volcano. For once in my life, I was lucky and found a lvl 20 Quetz and tamed it just a few minutes ago. Now I might also try to tame a bee

  22. Who really is L Livingstone?! POSSIBLE ANSWER! So after looking carefully at some explorer notes and other small details, I think I've come a little closer to the meaning of L Livingstone. First, my sources: "We finally managed to get a terminal working, and well, this is it. I almost can't believe it, but I've finally found it! The mystery behind those stations, the whole reason we even exist, it's all right here! According to this, those space stations are deliberately designed bio-domes called "ARKs," and they're exactly what they sound like: lifeboats. Whatever happened to the Earth, whether it was Element based technology like Santiago suspected or something else, these ARKs were built to preserve and cultivate life in all forms - fauna, flora and of course, human - safely separated from the planet's poisoned surface. But something's gone wrong. There's all sorts of errors here...maybe that's why they turned into such death traps. There's something about a "Reseed Protocol" too. I'll need time to look this over. " - Helena Note #18 on Extinction "When I said that things got "fuzzy" when I touched the artifact, that's not really the whole truth. I remember bits and pieces of it - images, flipping across my vision in rapid succession. At first they were hard to distinguish, but now that Mei-Yin has allowed me to study the prism at a distance, they're gradually becoming clearer. A man made of light, monsters roaring, a sky on fire...they didn't seem like memories. At least not mine. If the prism put those images in my head, well that's a little frightening, honestly. Mei-Yin's right. I need to tread carefully here. As much as I want to know the prism's secrets, if I delve for them too deeply, I could lose myself to it. We both saw where that could lead, back in that violet pit. I should apologize for pushing the matter... " - Helena note #21 on Extinction Based off my previous research, as well as these new findings, here's my verdict: Livingstone is A)The man who discovered, manufactured, and distributed tek, B)The precursor homo deus to Helena, and C)The being who INTENTIONALLY filled the ARKs with errors. As I've mentioned before, Livingstone was likely the man who designed tek structures and distributed them around the world, gaining fame and fortune in doing so. We see this in the plaza in the Great City, "Livingstone Plaza", as well as an apparent trademark on the Broodmother dossier (Also, BIODIDAC may have been a codename for the tech behind the holo-dossiers). Considering that the dossier seems to come from the homo-deus era, it may be that Livingstone POSSIBLY invented some sort of life-extension tech in order to live throughout the element age. My second point is that Livingstone was the homo deus that came before Helena. Not only that, but I think he could have been the one... that was PUTTING THOSE IMAHES IN HELENA'S HEAD!!! In the story, Helena is shown images, one of which was a "glowing man". Even if the glowing man was a representation of the human race, since it climbs an evolutionary ladder later, something or someONE was putting those images in Helena's head. Even more in support of this, she gets these hallucinations after touching a "glowing, diamond shaped prism". This is EXACTLY like collecting the One Who Waits notes - we get the notes from a pedestal with a GLOWING, DIAMOND-SHAPED PRISM in it, only for that same prism to explode in light and show us written messages and images!!! The prism is also inside Helena in the end cutscene, basically confirming that the prism is the symbol of the homo deus. So it COULD be that what Helena saw was Livingstone communicating with her in the same way she communicates to us in the game - the glowing prism. But even so, we don't know for sure that the glowing man was LIVINGSTONE - anyone could have turned into a homo deus and talked to Helena. Which brings me to my last point. What if the humans didn't want homo dei involved in the ARKs AT ALL?! The ARKs seem like they were designed to be run by the Overseers, and the Overseers ALONE. Also, if the homo dei WERE meant to be included in such an important project like the ARKs, then why is the Tomb of Ascension so well- hidden underground? And why would the ARKs, with the ability to electromagnetically fix the atmosphere and evaporate element, fall victim to simple programming errors? Unless they were INTENTIONAL. Livingstone would have the perfect motive for syncing up with the ARKs and filling them with errors. As Helena mentions in the end Extinction cutscene, the ARKs also have the ability to "Purge element from the soil". Element was Livingstone's money-maker, his pride, his LIFE. If he saw that humans were designing tech to DESTROY element, he would definitely be unapproving. Or maybe he fell to the lures of element and took erratic action. Either way, if he was also the ultimate precursor to Rockwell, the easiest way for him to solve this problem would OF COURSE be to sync with the ARKs and wreak havoc on them. Maybe that's why he REALLY communicated with Helena, to get her to follow in his footsteps. Either way, it seems he was kicked from his position as homo deus when Helena inserted the prism in her wrist. But what if, contrary to him communicating with Helena, he wasn't dying like Helena was (again with possible life extension tech?)? Is the being in the Aberration crash site Rockwell, or Livingstone?! Okay, that last bit could be wrong.

  23. I tamed a giga today, it’s only 25lv but nearly took me about 4 hours. Anyway, I got it.

  24. Didnt get on til late last night but managed to get a few things done. Completed my personal raft project, wanted a taming motorboat, that I could still see out of easily.. it isnt the prettiest but it functions well. Went looking for a mating Bary, spent 1.5h killing low level barrys in the swamp, flying in and out of render trying to force a spawn. Got stunlocked by one, chewed my armour and took about 3 deaths to get my body back Gave up and went home. On the way decided to hit a yellow drop on SE Island, scanned and found a 140 thyla female. Hatched a few eggs by accident while taming it and raised a thorny. Loaded up everything burning with wood for charcoal and went to bed

  25. Well, not every day can be an adventure worthy tale. Today was mostly farming for me. In particular, crystal was a big one. The main reason I haven't built a greenhouse around my farm is that I didn't have enough crystal to build it, so now I'm stockpiling for that. I also did a decent paste run and stopped at one of the public oil pumps while I was at it. Actually emptied the whole thing and the bird still made it back to base, albeit somewhat slowly. Also finally leveled up to 80 and made my industrial forge, I've been sitting on the poly for that all week. I did scout around a bit for a sheep, didn't find any in the highlands. Built an S+ hatchery, still need ACs to finish out the build. All in all, not super eventful but great progress. Will definitely need to work on my build as the forge absolutely does not fit in my base lol.

  26. Ragnarok Unofficial Server Did a bit more metal farming and decked out my Destroyer raft with some test plant x and auto turrets and took it for a spin. Basically sailed around the islands shredding wild pelagornis. It works a treat so I planted the rest of the plant x plots up and now I just need a few more auto turrets and mass produce some ammo. Cant wait to test it out in the southern wyvern trench for the giggles to see how it fares. Might even have to think about raiding some wyvern eggs out of the northern trench soon and use the raft offshore to kill all the aggroed wyverns. Finally tamed up a high level female thorny dragon and I bred it with my male, so that we have some thorny dragons to raise up. I did want to go and tame a male Baryonyx to go with d1nks female but I never got a chance.

  27. Stared at the back end of a gacha for an hour then went and got more stone. Got tired of listening to the Argies squawk so I froze all of them.

  28. This is why I always double up on the generators with both on unpowered auto activation switched on. If someone wants to switch off my generators they will be there for hours running between two gennys.

  29. Its basically finished now. Shall moor it way out of render distance. The plan for this one is to act as a mobile base we can move about the map, maybe even fit an indy forge into it some how. Got a few more raft designs in mind too. I fancy starting a much smaller raft to act as a destroyer (hopefully good at shredding wyverns) and then move onto an attempt to make a wyvern trap on a raft.

  31. I guess you don't play with other online players in a PVP fashion. I'm not sure how you are "avoiding" meshing other than just not acknowledging it because it doesn't fit your narrative. But have fun with your care bear "tailored experience". You can respond after you have over 3000+ hours in the game and have had to host a PVP clustered server with all these BS bugs...

  33. Did you even read the post you were responding to? The person said it would be super awesome to get some information about the Easter event. It would be super awesome. Yeah, this post says they are now going to separate information from these art posts, but that’s kind of the problem for people that want more information and aren’t coming here just to look at artwork. The point is that people already feel like a lot is going unaddressed or that not enough details and information is being given, and now they’re saying they are going to do posts entirely devoid of information. Anybody can read what they said but it won’t change the fact a lot of people would like to have more information and it would be “super awesome” to get it. Thanks for trolling any poster that expresses a desire for something other than what they are getting, though. You’re doing a great job.

  34. Not sure what is the point of this when the game still has so many bugs to fix. Instead of spending so much time checking artworks, can't Jen check bug reports or something?

  35. Ragnarok - Private Xbox Cluster Ever took a chainsaw to a Karkinos? So much organic poly and just as well because I needed to repair the indy grinder I had placed down the previous session. It all started after taming a 150 Rex with crap stats so was annoyed but at least I have an expendable killing machine. I’m built in a cave so I can’t completely enclose my base despite having no clip on. A 150 Bronto strolled down towards my entrance so I killed it with my new Rex, not before it almost destroyed my storage chests and indy grinder. Moved the grinder further back in my base and made 3 vaults to replace the storage boxes. Before taming the Rex, I had placed down an indy forge and chem bench and made a whole lot of charcoal for gunpowder. I really need some BPs because primitive gear sucks and I wasted so many darts on that Rex for no good return.

  36. You clearly haven’t read anything because this isn’t a community crunch. As the title and topic reads, it’s specifically about fan art. Maybe improve on your reading comprehension?

  37. Did you even read the post? This thread is a new series specifically for fan art that’s now separate from the community crunches which they themselves will now only contain Ark news and information.
