Xbox - The Center Got the breeding bug again... I have killed so many otters and featherlight over the last few night in the hunt for mutations, the poor tribe log... For the featherlights I had combined all the stats into three birds and then bred them like crazy. Got a white belly mut and also a golden body mut too. In the process of combing the two colours together just now, and thankfully one or both had good stat muts too. Still deciding on if I want to keep the green body one I got aswell. Hatched a fair leg muts but I killed most of them, kept a few incase but I doubt I'll use them. Otter progress is a bit slower, I hate mammal breeding. Took me a while to get all the good stats from my wild male into an otter with all the good colours I want too. Worked my way up to 2 males and 9 females with the desired stats and colours. Dont go into the otter room d1nk, they'll probably mug you or something. Got a few belly muts along the way but I hate belly mut colours on otters, I prefer nice natural creams and whites on them. Now that I have a mass of otters I can now breed intensively in pursuit of a nice mutated one, blue or cyan preferably but I'll see what I can get. Raised up a spino from my spino breeding project as well as two allos and imprinted on them for personal use.

Spent my entire evening making and placing cable so that my wind turbine in the desert could power the fridges etc at my mountain top home. Christ that was tedious

So old kibble no longer works? Just tried to tame an Argie with Stego Kibble and 0.5% per kibble and taming bonus dropped 15% each kibble?

@JenHow about a spot where you guys let us know what bugs you are working on? The recognized submitted bugs section on the forum seems to be a joke as aside from the Beta stuff there is only one post recognized as a bug. Its annoying for those of us who have submitted legit bugs to not know of any progress or any sort of priority list. Don't even care about timelines, just some sort of acknowledgement they they are on some list to be worked. The DLCs are expansions of the game which, should be independent of other maps. That is to say you shouldn’t have to purchase a DLC or travel to another map to obtain anything necessary to advance in another. If you disagree with this concept, take it up with WC. They have already changed the recipes for the kibble rework because initially they required ingredients only available on Extinction. Avoiding a “pay to win” scenario where players would be forced to purchase a DLC to make the new kibbles is the primary reason this recipe change took place. There are a lot of things wrong with the new kibble system (like redundant time-sinking stews being included), but the biggest problem is with balancing. For example, it takes wyvern eggs to kibble tame a Griffin, but if a player has access to wyvern eggs they don’t need a Griffin , or at the very least, it is made obsolete. Additionally, a Giga should not be easier to obtain kibble for than a much weaker thyla or megalania. As far as golden eggs vs. wyvern/drake eggs goes, there is a significant imbalance due to time. Imagine, for instance, you could purchase something that reduces breeding times. Since breeding is mainly based on a time scale, players with the ability to make the purchase would have an unfair advantage over players without that purchasing power. This is relevant to golden eggs because they pose a massive time-sink in comparison to wyvern/drake eggs. While they are not difficult to obtain, doing so requires a ridiculous amount of time where nothing else can be accomplished. There is also a lack of a secondary use equal or greater than the kibble. Whereas obtaining wyvern and drake eggs are a part of normal gameplay, golden eggs are not used for anything other than kibble. P.S. Golden eggs do offer a secondary use of a very slight and limited XP buff when fed to tamed creatures, but it in no way whatsoever is comparable to the primary benefit of wyvern and drake eggs that offer a chance to raise a powerful creature such as a wyvern or drake. My response to any person that thinks wyvern and drake eggs are a viable alternative to golden eggs, is that those eggs should be removed from the extraordinary kibble list. Let’s see how many of these people defend the new recipe when the have to swim hesperornis to make them.
