    Why is everyone thinking OP is an idiot? Maybe a little weird with the conspiracy thing.. But another player on PvE leading a titanosaur to your base is definitely against the rules and is considered griefing. Which is bannable in PvE. That’s why people join PvE, to get away from the psychopaths that kill other players constantly. You aren’t supposed to have any hostile interactions with people at all. What’s the BS response this time? “Don’t like it, go to single player bruh”

    Last night I had the perfect oppourtunity to get a good chunk of time in, I had to go over to my parent's house to watch their dog while they were gone for the night - wife free gaming! After work I get here, set up my box all guiddy to play....there was a windstorm (bad one) and it blew out the internet here. Crap! I decide to not let it damper the night and hopped on single player Ext. For a bit. I managed to spawn near the terminals so I marked it on my map. I brought over a griff from my SP rag, just as I found the terminals and start to get some progress down the net comes back on ! I immidiatly hop off SP onto the server. As i spawn in (which I figured out where @AngrySaltire - "The Trench") I get together some mats, mine some metal, fortify my outpost and make some narcotics for my first tame. Theres a level 35 iguanadon around my outpost so i knocked it out and tamed it. Used the Iguana to get a bunch more narcs going then I decided im going to try to run to the terminals (since I marked them on SP - it was only 10 longitude away!!) I venture off for my shott journey to the terminals.. ... Two hours later. This is when I find out im in "The Trench", they werent kidding. I finally make it to the terminals. On the way I found @AngrySaltire's city base and I set up not too far from it, close to the terminals. I pulled out an imprinted rock drake, karkinos, doed, anky, roll rat (didnt have a spare beaver) one of my mutated ravagers, a breeding pair of therizinos and 4 dimorphodons. I had a few behemoth gates so i set up my small base inside some sort of psudo cave like spot near the terminals. After getting the tames safely inside I ventured out for a mats run to start building. Quite eventful, slayed a few enforcers and defence units. Mined a bunch of lampposts (seems weird to say) and built a small hut inside the cave with a upper floor to park my fliers and drake. I head over to Ragnarok to grab a few tames (griff and argy) plus a bunch of mats. While im there I made up 10 behe gate sets to make an outer storage area for my base. After all sorted I popped back, placed my gates and spent a few hours exploring, farming and building Now im back on and the plan is to expand my spot and fill it with all the goodies a base needs. Damn you Ark, im back.

    In my experience, it works in random places. - While thrown it collides DIRECTLY when you release it, and shows a "missed hit" in front of your face! Perhaps on a server it shows as its being thrown, but its actually not and it has a different effect on SP and MP. - Experienced in Singleplayer. - Some parts in the city, most parts in the Sunken Forest - Is this related to invisible structures or horribly designed "anti-meshing" "systems"??

    Bolas don't work too for me. Hit in front of your face. Weapons do the same but because weapons are Raycast you can hit anything but the hit effect always shows in front of your face too. did you tried shotgun ? ? the effect clusterfrick you screen for moment. P.S Singleplayer too.

    Saturday, December 15, 2018 Look Studio Wildcard (just in case you people are reading this HUGE thread of posts going way back to December of 2017), either y'all fix this crash issue on Xbox One or start seeing a future of no longer making any money off of your games. Because when enough of your customers complain about getting crashes every 10 to 20 or so minutes while playing your games and they see (with time) that you don't give a s**t about them I can assure you they will stop playing your games altogether. People are not stupid. They see serious issues with a game they are not going to play it any more and their word of mouth regarding the game will also get around. Now maybe you Devs over there at Studio Wildcard are in a position at the moment whereas you're not caring about these issues that a great deal of your customers have been having for well over a year now because MOST of your customers may not be having certain issues at the moment. But with time if you start getting enough of people complaining it very well could have a serious effect on you. I have been playing your games now since beta and have purchased each of your DLCs except this latest one, Extinction, which I will not purchase until y'all fix these already long overdo issues that need to be fixed. The crashing one especially because if a game keeps crashing and not saving progress in any game people will stop playing it. And that is the way it is going to be for y'all in the future if y'all don't fix and tend to the issues you have had for years now. I never experienced this crash issue in all the time I have been playing your Ark games until just two days ago when I decided to delete my old game I had since Beta with all my pets to start a fresh game (due to, thus, other issues y'all obviously also do not care about enough to fix involving the item slots on the obelisk not working and the Big Feet and Dire Bears from Aberration not being able to be removed out of the obelisk). If this mess has just started happening to me two days ago and I am completely ticked-off that nothing has been done about it in a whole year's time I can only imagine how the people who have had this issue going back a year must feel. Chances are none of them are no longer playing your game anymore seeing as you Devs obviously do not care enough to fix the problem. And this is a console issue but I am sure PC players are also having the same issue. Based off of YOUR OWN ACTIONS you Devs seem to be more concerned about putting out new DLC content than fixing all the bad issues the game has had since Beta. So then that tells me it's obviously our money you are really after. But this is all an unbalanced situation because while we, your customers who paid you our money to play your games...you the Devs who put out the game are not giving us what we paid for or need. You ignore all these posts on this site and all the others on other sites KNOWING your customers are having these issues. You focus on putting out new DLCs so you can hope to keep making money off of your loyal customers but you ignore the fact that gradually with time if you keep this up you will loose customers more than get customers because "word of mouth" is a strong and powerful way of advertising something so with time that word of mouth will get around enough and you will start loosing what loyal customers you do have. If people's games are "constantly crashing" on them every 10 to 20 minutes and not saving their process and it's been allowed to go on for well over a year, that should be telling you Devs this is a very serious issue with your game and common sense should be dictating to you to fix this issue. That means the players will not be able to play your Ark games and if people get frustrated with their game-play constantly crashing on them and not saving their playing progress that means they will not want to play your game anymore. Don't Studio Wildcard get that? Because it's almost like y'all don't get it. Many may even sue to get their money back because they will feel they have been ripped-off. I mean didn't we pay you OUR money for a service that includes being able to play a "playable game" ALL THE TIME and not a tiny bit of the time when an issue should arise? But we are not getting our end of the bargain, Studio Wildcard but you are getting yours because you've already pocketed all of our money but we, the customers, get nothing but continuous game-play crashes, bugs, and glitches since Beta. Is that fair, Studio Wildcard? You know it's not fair but YOUR ACTIONS after all this time shows us you do not care. So this is what I suggest you, Studio Wildcard, do. Put down the new ideas y'all are working on for your future DLCs and fix the "current issues" you have been having since Beta piece by piece until you have fixed everything. THEN you may resume back to working on your future DLCs. That is the fair thing to do after all. If you don't want to loose your customers do the right, just, ethical, and fair thing. We your loyal fans and customers who have stuck by you since Beta are hear for you Devs and Studio Wildcard if we see y'all care enough about us and our needs pertaining to this game we have purchased so respect that please. Cause right now we are feeling Studio Wildcard does not give a rat's a** about us. Respect is a two-way street and you people over there at Studio Wildcard owe your customers that much. After all with out us y'all wouldn't be where you are currently. Try to keep that in mind in the future.

    There are some servers plugins that might help.     5 high stone walls will keep out Titan. Small dinosaur gates are 4 walls high and Titan just walk over them.

    It was not hacking, it wasn't an admin or an official. There isn't some covert conspiracy and it's kind of concerning that your mind went straight there without first trying to understand what actually happened. "THEY'RE OUT TO GET ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" If a titanosaur is attacked, it will attack back. By the look of things, the titano probably wandered nearby (or was dragged nearby) and your plant turrets aggroed it. If your turrets aggro something and it starts attacking your base, dinos on neutral or attack-target will also attack it. Most smaller dinos that attack a titan die. The more dinos you have, the bigger your fence/walls should be. If you don't have the dinos to defend from large creatures, the walls should be very tall and you should keep your turrets within the walls so they don't attack random creatures walking by. Dino gates are not sufficient to keep your dinos or base safe from titanos. Put the pipe down.

    You may as well change the game title to 'ARK: Titan's Evolved' rather than 'Survival Evolved' considering the fact that there's no survival aspect left in this game (PvP) due to the grossly overpowered and ridiculously easily accessible/tamable Titans. It doesn't matter how well fortified your base is, a Titan will rolfstomp it within seconds. I am genuinely questioning your developer's IQ - no offence, but it's quite clear that they're not the brightest lamps in the street. One thing's for certain; they are completely out of touch with the PvP community and how to try and maintain balance within the PvP spectrum, whatever you prefer to call it. You see, even on Official Small Tribe servers there are tribes who're taming the Forest and Desert Titan effortlessly, at every single given opportunity. We had this one player on our server who would solo tame Alpha Desert Titan with his low level Quetzal - he was so confident about it after previous success that he didn't realise that a griefer was actually hi-jacking the Desert Titan from him and managed to steal it. Once he stole it, he went around the map flattening every single base in sight, and most of these bases were turret-capped with Tek & Heavy's, mind you. Now I know what you're thinking; "why didn't any of you use a Mek to take the Titan down!?" Good luck with that. You may have done it on your boosted PvE servers but it definitely isn't the case on PvP servers vs a player who knows what he's doing. Anyway, good luck with your future careers, I am sure maybe one day you'll actually manage to find some middle-ground with your content updates instead of throwing a shark into a pool full of Goldfish like every expansion DLC pack. I for one will not be buying anymore of your DLC packs, that's for certain. I already deeply regret buying Extinction, and not to mention the amount of mesh spots on there which have been taken advantage of to make quick work of any established, fortified base. These 'meshers' can freely brag about it in global too, because obviously they can get away with it. (Console btw) Oh and if this offends you, feel free to permanently ban me from the forums. I won't be returning.

    Means 255 in an individual stat (melee/stam/hp) not combined, if it was combined dinos would all crash out at lvl 255 so if your dino hits 255 melee for instance it will reset

    Tested on official network servers. A wild-tamed Gasbags (no saddle or inflation at all), an Enforcer crafted and deployed before the patch announcing the damage reduction, and an Enforcer crafted and deployed 10 minutes ago. At zero inflation and with no saddle, the Gasbags takes 100% full damage from all sources. All 3 took the same damage from a Corrupted Stegosaurus. The damage reduction is not working, 100% positively without a shred of doubt. I have heard it said that Enforcers used to take INCREASED damage from Corrupted, and this -60% gets them back to a normal, full-damage-taken level. Unfortunately no patch note or available information seems to corroborate that claim, so it is bunko. They simply are taking full, non-reduced damage.

    Please look up some more recent titan raids sometime, you couldn't be more wrong. People are foundation wiping proper bases in 2 minutes or less. Killing the titan isn't the issue, it's killing it before it can totally destroy/open up your base to unrepairable levels. Think of them as kamikaze weapons, they are too overpowered and unstoppable for what they are capable of doing.

    To be fair - wouldn't the most obvious place to post and go to for info be here? I mean this is the official ARK forum afterall... so how on earth is it normal that we have to be on Twitter, Reddit, whatever and have to use a "dev tracker" to get the puzzle together instead of them just posting where it's meant to be. 100 threads about the same issue here and not one single word of acknowledgement from devs, but hey you MIGHT get lucky if you write on Twitter... nah that's just wrong

    Raised some babies, got a really weird neon mutation, traded some eggs, failed to solo tame a tapejara that kept trolling me and a dimorphodon broke some windows. I'm still hating that tapejara.

    I know people have had issues with the barrier on extinction. However, now after my 3rd encounter personally I'm curious to see if anybody knows if WC has any plans to change it. I play on PS4 official and the problem I have had for the 3rd time in a row is I will be extremely far away from the kill barrier on my Mana cruising around. (Pry a good 30 seconds away from barrier if I turned and tried to dash/run to it, so very far.) In the process of jumping around I will notice the game goes into one of its giant lagg spikes which lasts 10-20 seconds. I stop moving around, then 20 seconds later the game resumes and now I am half a mile into the kill barrier and I'm dead, Manas dead, and all my stuff is lost. This has happened to numerous others on my server as well, and I have even been spawned half way across the map into a river and my Mana drowned during a lag spike while I was sitting in my base (which is besides the initial point of the kill barrier, but still has relevance due to lagg spikes being the main problem with the barrier.) Why don't they do away with the kill barrier and go with the traditional force field? I understand when it comes to story canon, we aren't technically on an Ark, we are on Earth, thus no force field. Instead it imitates the rest of the earth being a radiation filled kill zone. Neat idea, but your game is not optimized for this kind of a feature. Everyone knows your servers have problems when it comes to stability, so please consider a different route then a kill barrier. Until then, RIP future Manas.     Players should not be able to kite Brontos and Titans to destroy other player's pets, player character, or constructions on a PvE server. This was fixed at one point but now it is broke again. The Titan and Bronto did not walk up to my base and go ape for no reason. They were kited to my base by someone. These are PvP dynamics being put into play on a PvE server. This is very wrong.

    Titans are pretty balanced I think . I have only seen two titan attacks against a proper base and both times the titan was killed and the base defended. Ye they are strong and do a lot of damage but they can be killed and no one is wiping a proper base with just a titan.

    Please don't rework the entire kibble system on other maps. It will make the majority of dinosaurs boring and useless. Changing the kibble system for imprints is fine though. As for the S+ aspect: Long overdue. Some items shouldn't have a time limit at all.
