Catch all my Tribe Mates in Cryopods?

Single Player - Extinction Had some decent time to play since last post. Got a Ptera, then another and another which made scouting so much better. Extinction is apparently super vertical as well - which I am enjoying. Found a higher position for a base with a beautiful view and started the move there. Got my workshop up and running, crops growing and tamed a host of much needed critters. So far, two Anky's (first one was an iffy level, think 60, then found a 130), a Doedic (135 - have not seen anything over lvl 100 since), a Thorny Dragon (150) after giving up on finding a decent beaver (can't find anything with decent levels). 5 Owls, highest being a 70 pre-tame but the rest is mostly lvl 20 - 50. Two Gacha's, decent levels 125 and 135 - the 135 does Black Pearls, Gas balls, Blue crystalized sap. I have more Black pearls than I have EVER had. The 125 does silica pearls, red crystalized sap and oil. So fairly decent. Tamed a 150 Megaloceros - because it was in a relatively safe spot and a 150, while looking for an Argy, near Green ob. Finally found a Argy at lvl 100. Considering the amount of time I have spent looking for Argies and Owls you would think I should just statistically have found something decent by now. No such luck. Saw a 130 Argy but it was in the wastelands in a horrible spot where there was a couple of Giga's, some corrupted T-Rex's and just for fun a corrupted Wyvern. Eh, no thanks. Found a Bear while on this search - not a great location in the wastelands, but managed to tame the 130. Now just to find some more beehives. I've only found 1 so far in the sunken forest. Went hunting for Velanosaurs and to kill Thorny dragons (to get Keratin to make cementing paste). Found 3, 2x 135 females and a 125 male. They tamed out with some decent stats so will start breeding them to get a line going. Stumbled across the prettiest Tapejara I've ever found while going round the Desert, would have tamed it even if it were a really low level but got lucky 130 male! He's in the picture attached. I also have the Rare sightings mod installed, now I have not bothered to craft a radio yet to get the sightings reports but while flying round the Desert I spotted a dark little splodge moving on a plateau. Spyglass it - a Chocolate Dodo Male, level 175! Had a good giggle then tamed that bad boy. He will receive a shrine at the base worthy of his awesome dodo powers. Already have a harem of female dodo's to entertain him. Plan now is to do some work on getting the base more organised and secure - it's rather chaotic, with critters everywhere, work on getting a grinder and get a breeding barn set up also want to try use the tek elevators to use the level below the current one I'm on, otherwise might try the tek bridges or just build ramps.

Another weekend came, and another went by... very quickly. Extinction was an absolute dog this weekend, no rollbacks or crashes but was utterly unplayable as it was lagging horrendously. The servers are just not capable of hosting 70/70 players. So we bred on Center and went tribute hunting for an Alpha run next weekend. Basi hunting got slightly distracted as we saw a 145 Alpha Rex and as we were both on our 300 Bary's thought it would be a great laugh trying to take that down. Our Barys have 700 md and about 6k hp but with decent asc saddles we just kept running round in circles dragging it off the beach in the water and chomped away. It took a while to get it down but we both lost about 1k hp so were never in any danger... but boy was it fun Can you say that you have taken down an Alpha Rex 145 on a Bary? We did pop on ext last night as we have some Gacha and Snow Owl orders to fulfill - 3 sets to be precise and duly tamed up 3 Gachas (2 oil which was what people on my Center server are after) and tamed 3 low level owls. Its a decent server and we all help each other out so I was happy to go tame a few up even if the server was behaving like a rubber band. Nothing else too major to report... Just the Alpha Rex kill

Jen said "end your journey across the ARKs" in one place, and then in multiple places the other Devs have now admitted that they will keep providing updates and content for ARK, including the original post of this goddamn thread that says "expansions" to ARK. If you think ARK is dead because of one single post Jen made, you need to work on basic comprehension. That said, I'm happy to see a new ATLAS trailer and see more content of it, more of the concept. It might be good. But planning 2+ years in early access, I can't commit to it in the way that I committed to ARK in June '15. Early access, the Great Flyer Nerf, and the legacy/official split were a lot to take. Lots of needlessly dead dinos! Lots of deleted survivors that were never replaced. So, I can't really buy in 100% to ATLAS, but I sure as hell will be watching it closely... ... Because perhaps only 2 or 3 times ever, a game has gripped me like ARK has. A 100% unknown developer with a concept that BLOWS up and becomes a genre-defining adventure was something that I did NOT see coming when I bought ARK for 5 dollars way back when, nor did I know I would spend 6000+ hours on this game over the years and STILL get excited over builds, breeds, and battles. There has been such poop in ARK... But the experience this game has provided is unmatched in the entirety of my life.

Built a rather sizeable trap to hold the fidgety as f*ck Managarmr while I tame it. Then. Tamed it. Not sure my drake was too happy at being left in the trap as bait but hey, it worked. The lack of high level ones on my server is really telling though when a 105 is the best around... Oh well.

It does not have anything to do with "being mean". Some people simply expect a fully prized game and paid DLC which they bought, to actually work and to be finished, instead of being released in an unfinished broken state. How is that a bad thing?

I stayed in my base on EU-PVE-Official-Extinction 469 and waited for lagspikes and server crashes to come and man, they came in droves. I then went to play Fallout 76 and have to say that I had not a single disconnect there, saw only one graphical glitch and had lots of fun. Now I tried to log in again in ARK and the server is crashing over and over again, only minutes after restart. ?

The last two nights have been interesting to say the least , first of all my ankles and owls died , cause I left the pig in there and she ate all there food ...nice , then I traded some element and rex eggs for a gorgeous Griffin and I love it , traded a serious velo egg for more high level owls I'll have round two next weekend, made some eggs and signed off cause all those trades and runs had me feeling like I was hustlin lmao The next day I bred up some spinos , one with the traded grey spino i got last night and one with my event spino, it got the grey colours level upto 250 instead of 195 so a few more tries and itll be over 300 , lime spino got a melee mutation and at 300 has 500 melee , happy with that fo sho , then while meatrunnin I saw a gorgeous event yellow giga at 216 I can tame it at around 300 if I'm good , I messed up real bad though , had at least hundred narco into it and it was running away . But it was stuck and I flew into the ravine to get it unstuck....and I got dashboarded, getting the giga unstuck in the process and killed me and my favorite wyvern James bond in one or two bites , I got shook and dipped off with my Griffin, I wont be messing with gigas till I'm actually prepared lol...rip James bond you will be missed
