    Originally got the game on steam and loved it. Unfortunately my friends have xbox so I bought it for the windows 10 version.. Genuinely amazed just how often the windows 10 version has problems. I still cant use half of the whistles and I've been switched to windows 10 for months lol... That being said, I'm also unable to log in due to this server address thing. Honestly, I wouldn't even be annoyed if ark admins could at least post a reply saying "Yeah we know" to acknowledge it. Seems like a useless "Bugs Report and Support" forum lol..

    Unofficial ragnarok- Been a busy few days between trades , event dinos and some breeding Got a few even dinos ( pink rex , lime green spino, lime terror bird, lime and blue wolf , lime and pink yuty , orange and blue bronto, cyan trike and a random ovi) , traded one of my best rexes for 4 eggs ( 2 velos and 2 owls and he tossed in a few allos) so bred 2 rexes a spino and hatched the 2 allos One rex was olive and no mut, one was red with yellow belly no mut but got moms ridiculous melee stat , the spino was bred with new lime and my old dark green , she turned out navy blue with a cyan sail and belly. And the allos both hatched at over 400 but my 330 has equal melee Tomorrow I'll hatch the velos and owls probably post pics too

    You should have sprinted away before the Yuty get the chance to fear roar your managarmr. This is your fault at one end, since dino becomes unresponsive once they are scared, fleeing anywhere in terror and potentially falling into the kill zone. It won't be rectified, else everyone will ask for it. I almost lost an owl when I accidentally got too close to that yuty.

    Unless your creature is so fast that you don't notice, approaching the limit by going past the towers give you a periodic warning beep, with the message telling you your implant is unstable and you should turn back.

    I... I really really want this to be wrong, but I have the switch version, and there are no moments on the game where the graphical fidelity stays that good for the draw distance you guys display in the trailer. The game looks decent within a foot of the character's face, but drops off sharply over the next two yards, and is pure impressionism beyond that. Not to say that has made it unplayable, but after playing the majority of today on Switch, I've had to take two dramamine to curb the nausea the hyperblur effect has induced. I've really tried to keep positive all day, but this game actually looks to have been deliberately designed to run and look just like this. The game simulates the degree of shortsightedness that would prevent any normal person from driving a vehicle in any circumstances, and we planned on riding wyverns in this mode one day... Please tell us what went wrong? I bought cartridge form due to the claims made by the team in the teaser ages before launch. I wanted to be able to plug this cart into a refurbished switch 10 years down the road and be able to play the island in full for a nostalgia trip. As it is, I want to forget today even happened. I watched servers fill up as soon as I had the game in my posession at home, and when I logged off to take something for the headaches and nausea, I returned, determined to play more ark, only to find most servers had already emptied. Your day one audience burnt out in the span of 4 hours... The game isn't a buggy mess this time around... it's just a really really terrible compromise on the Switch. I've bought this game now on three platforms and season passes on the two that offered them. I don't regret the other two purchases at all. This one... this one scares me. Who decided to make the Switch release a version where you get to play through Lord of the Flies as Piggy?

Perhaps someone should tell their HR department? But you know, I am thinking back to all of the past marketing they had on Ark, and I actually can't recall seeing AAA quality promised. I do consider the AAA price tag to set the bar to AAA quality, and let's face it, this game STILL has massive quality issues which should have been fixed long ago. TINY indie game devs do much better at core gameplay quality. But yeah, I can't actually claim they "promised" AAA quality for Ark. Although you didn't have to foam at the friggin mouth about it. That's why I don't care what you say in the slightest. You could tell me water was wet and I'd ask someone else if that was true, just because of your toxic reactions. Also, I couldn't give the slightest anything for the fine print on any contract. Any business that lets a lawyer give them permission to break faith with their customers is still responsible for breaking faith with their customers. And Early Access is a trust relationship. We're not gambling our money, we're supporting the ability of the company to exist AT ALL. Those jobs the developers have right now are there because of US and our faith that the company will keep its promises. So, y'know, they can live up to the expectations they set in their marketing and price tag (and their industry sets for all products fyi), or pay the price in broken trust. That simple. And yes, I'm unhappy with the state of the game. I'd much rather have had them make a game with less dino types but much better underlying mechanics, much better dino gameplay and ffs fix the friggin water/wing reflections already omg. I'd have paid for new dino DLC on Early Access with no problem at all, if the core game was good. But JS promised free dinos for everyone all the time and there went that part of the development budget. WC made bad choices, and when you do that you get your feet held to the fire until you fix your mistake. Everyone knows that. It's how new companies grow up.

    Found a red drop on the island in the snow . . . . It had purple quality loot in it. Found a 135 yuty . . . managed to drown it in a river. Decided to kill a Giga to take out my frustrations and get the heart . . . managed to drown that under an ice floe. Found a 125 yuty and possibly redemption . . . managed to drown her one ice floe over from where Aqua-Giga bought the farm. Flew up from there and saw another red drop . . . . It had purple quality loot in it. Right now, I'm flying around on my lightning wyvern killing everything in sight!!!
