  3. Common Name: Daeodon Species: Daeodon Comedentis Time: Late Oligocene Diet: Omnivore Temperament: Territorial Wild: Daeodon Comedentis is the largest known species of entelodont, an omnivorous family of ancient mammals that are sometimes referred to as “Hell Pigs.” Even though Daeodon has as many similarities to modern Hippopotamidae as it does to Suina, I’ve found that to be a suitably fitting nickname. Daeodon is as mean as it looks, and any survivor who wanders too close to its feeding grounds will find that out the hard way. As an omnivore with a voracious appetite, Daeodon scavenges, forages, and hunts to survive. It has little qualms when it comes to its diet, and that has helped it thrive both on the Island’s dry grasslands as well as sandy ecosystems. Its temper hasn’t hurt either, as many would-be predators would rather seek out less vicious prey. Its uncommonly high metabolism enables it to heal very rapidly, making it a difficult beast to bring down or even tranquilize. Domesticated: Many tribes have made excellent use of Daeodon packs within their war parties, not only because of its fierce nature but due to its remarkable ability to rapidly heal itself. I’ve theorized that this healing factor is why it seems to have such a high rate of food consumption, which also makes it difficult to maintain; Daeodon may well eat its owners out of house and home. Far more extraordinary, however, is that this rapid regeneration is evidently able to affect nearby allies, and consequently worth the upkeep!

  6. I wasn't there for the moar krabbs thing, but I know for a fact I ain't trusting the harpy. It could go tsundere and get me killed over something stupid, so imma stay faithful to my tames, as they never got me killed unless it was my fault.

  7. Also loving the events, I would like to see these events on a weekly basis. Ideas for other events could include, 2x faster, incubation/ growth on Dinos (don't forget about imprint timers), on SE maybe a reduction with spoil timers would be great?. Better/more drops from beacons, increased respawn rates of cave beacons, more up at once etc. Only comment to the event is a clearer start and end time, I usually test on a tree to check, but nice to know before hand. Either way please keep the events coming

  8. Really loving the evolution events! We have been taming like crazy the last 2 weekends! it is awesome fun! Please continue this each weekend It's awesome having to only spend half the time taming as previously. (I originally thought it would be better every second weekend, but this can be painful if you can't play that weekend then the following weekend is just normal rates) Please make it a bit clearer exactly when it will start and stop. People constantly ask if it has started or if it has ended. Maybe an InGame server message and countdown to finishing or just an alert to say it is done. Keep the pink text in the start screen and maybe only display it when it is in effect. "Evolution Event is Currently Active! Ending at: 00:00 EST Monday". or something to that effect. It can be hard to tell when it has ended or if it will effect taming mid reduction to normal values. I assume it would, so an announcement or something to let you know in game would be awesome.
