  1. lol I don't think I've waited this long to have question answered in a long time. I think it's a good thing though that we've gone roughly a month without a digest. It means that they are royally working their tales off.

It’s still not here yet! Sorry guys, but we’re hoping to actually post a digest later this weekend or early next! The reason for the delay is due to focus on some development work but it’ll be back soon :). However… we did have a bit of a surprising entry in our Community Crunch! Normally Cedric runs through the workshop spotlight but he’s been occupied with a major Primitive+ patch, as well as PAX Preparations - however community Modder Tao stopped by to let us know about the mod they’re working on! Hopefully down the road we can speak to you directly and get a fuller showcase going, but here’s what he has to say: ARK: Survival Plus Sounds like an awesome mod. Looking forward to it’s progression And that’s it for this post guys! As always if you’ve got anything to share please get in touch and be sure to follow us on: Twitter: https://twitter.com/survivetheark Facebook: www.facebook.com/survivetheark Reddit: www.reddit.com/r/playark Imzy: https://www.imzy.com/ark All the best, Wildcard Jat and the ARK: Survival Evolved Team!

  3. Don't let that hold you back MissMimi, these contests are judged on a wide variety of criteria. Builds that don't use mods but are extremely well done are considered even more challenging than a similar one done with them. Besides, the point is to have fun and show off creativity... so go for it! There were many excellent entries this time around, and the Survival Plus spotlight in particular caught my interest when he mentioned new detailed and individualized creature behaviors. Thanks again for hosting the contest and undertaking what must have been a particularly challenging judging process this time around.

  6. @DirectorGunner Good reply, I showed this chain of replies to my friend Lisa. On ARK I named my sabertooth after her, and told her she was apparently one of my Arkémons. Wisely she kept her mouth shut, haha

  9. It's an old world vulture from the Gyps genius aka Griffon Vultures (they are big and ancient, now extinct), Gyps melitensis or Gyps bochenskii . Or possibly a Sarcogyps calvus or Torgos tracheliotos. Field papers: http://www.acta-zoologica-bulgarica.eu/downloads/acta-zoologica-bulgarica/2010/62-2-211-242.pdf

  11. I don't think it's a butterfly. look at the size of the wings they're quite small and have the wing shell. also hiw would it fly the wings are so small it could only fly when the liquid sacks (yes I know what an original name) are empty. Also I reckon this is another hint at a desert biome, after all one has water in its liquid sack, so if it spawns in the desert biome it would be a water source. I think that the one that produces oil actually produces an oil like secretion that it uses for sustanence. It shares this sustanence with the blue/green one that produces water and it shares its water with the red one. Considering this sharing of sustance you probably find them in mate pairs on a regular basis and that they can't survive long without a mate. It is very obvious that its gender difference is told by its colour and what it produces. Considering Males supposedly has brighter colours and are typically vibrant I would say blue/green is the male and the red is female. Like @Shadlos said you really hit the nail on the head and gave a great analysis of the subject. But now for the big question: what is it called? What shall we dub it until we know the real name?
