"?OverrideOfficialDifficulty=5.0" on SE?

Hi there,

We are on Survival Servers, and we need to know where we add the  "?OverrideOfficialDifficulty=5.0"  command for our server.

this option is on gameusersettings.ini you should have it already wrote and you only need to change the actual numbers for 5.0, i tryed to change to 8.0 but only works up to 5.0

It does not work. The guys from survival server said they are working on adding the option.

with 5.0 yes it works, spawn dinos up to 160, but not more than 5.0  i had to add a mod

Can some1 please help to understand how to set difficulty 5?

I though they will be scaled by 5 and max level will be 150.

Under what part? [ServerSettings]?

"?OverrideOfficialDifficulty=5.0" goes in the launch params.

Unless it's been changed the ini file setting will not work.

I have launch params as on below screenshot, but it's not working. Any ideas why?

Don't put it at the end, nestle it in among the other ? params...

 

There's a reason for all the ? params being together without spaces.

 

Put it between the "1.0?Listen" like "1.0?OverrideOfficialDifficulty=5.0?Listen"

Thanks. I have limited config from my hoster, asked them to implement this update. Hope this will work.
