Flying dino/bird suggestions,

Tropeognathus: slightly smaller than quetz, treth cause bleeding affect and 2nd dino/bird to have platform saddle.

Citipati osmolskae: permament replacment for turkey and way to get turkey skin.

Messelornis cristata: small shoulder mount that with incredible hearing gives off a warningto friendly dinos when enemies are near, will set nearby dinos to agro(can be changed to nuetral).

1. Would it be possible to make it so modders can create texture packs for things like the sky and trees and such?

 

2. Will Official TheIsland maps ever be able to upload Dinos off of them?

 

2. Are the procedural maps going to have caves w/ all artifacts and spawns? How will they work?

Any update on things that were mentioned previously (and were addressed by Jeremy as being apparently quick/easy to do?), such as highlight an item and use all/transfer all? For example eating a stack of berries in 1 click rather than hammering the controller button 50 times, or highlighting a stack of stone and transferring all stacks of stone to a cupboard/dino inventory?

For the PC if you add a stack of 100 berries to your hotbar, then hold down the button/key for that hotbar it will eat the berries very quickly, 100 in a few seconds :) I hope this works for console too.

I'll give it a go later on when I get in from work, thanks. Not quite the most logical way for it to work (at least imo!) but if it does, then it is better than mashing the button.

After spending over 3000 hours playing Ark on PC here are a few things I would like to see implemented;

  1. An option to toggle snapping of pipes and cables to foundations when placing them similar to pressing "E" when placing walls etc. Snap points for them to be the four corners and center of a foundation.
  2. Crafting - item quality is in some way relative to your crafting speed and renaming it to Crafting Ability. Something like; CraftingAbility + Z=CraftQuality, Z being a random number between 1 & 100. Divide the CraftQuality by 100 and round down to the nearest whole number. The result should yield a number that can be used as <quality> is used in the command GiveItem and would scale: Every level you spend in "crafting" you gain a 0-10% chance of a higher item quality, every 10 levels spent would ensure the next tier of quality: 0-9 levels = Primitive, 10-19 = Ramshackle, 20-29 = Rare, 30-39 = Epic, 40-49 = Mastercraft, 50-59 = Ascendant and 60 levels = 100% Ascendant.
  3. Points 3,4 and 5 below are how I would like to realize the self repopulating Ark of the future.
  4. A tiny chance on spawn, wild female "gestation" dino's can be pregnant by an "unknown" father, allowing for a randomized level and stats for the father genes.
  5. A tiny chance instead of spawning an adult, wild female egg laying dino's drop fertilized eggs following the same conditions as gestation dino's regarding fatherhood. Upon laying the egg they set themselves to "follow, distance lowest" on the egg until it hatches.
  6. Babies when hatched/born set themselves to follow their nearest parent until imprinted. Whilst following a parent this way they feed from the parents food stat and reduce said parents movement speed. After all, this is how nature does it and would make breeding larger animals more appealing giving survivors more time to imprint instead of the baby dying of starvation.This will also increase the mothers chance of starving with her young punishing negligent survivors.
  7. Tamable (no riding) Boa's.
  8. Water Dino, Frog and Scorpion breeding.

As for Dino suggestions, sorry but I am spoiled for choice but here are my top 5:

  1. Hypolagus - A prehistoric bunny.
  2. Synthetoceras - A North American deer from the Miocene period.
  3. Aepycamelus - An early mammal that resembles both a camel and a giraffe.
  4. Enhydriodon - Dubbed the monster otter, loves to eat crustaceans.
  5.  Keuppia - A carnivorous cephalopod from the Cretaceous period. Ark needs a giant octopus.

Will we get a better Paint tool? Black is not Black in Ark, all the colors you want to paint just overlap the old color and it looks bad. Example. you want paint a Red Raptor in Black it just make the Red to Grey (Dark Red) and not Black or when you use yellow, you get orange and not yellow.

Survivor, TEM187 asks, “A while back you gave us the Dire wolf, and just recently you released Allosaurus. Since the Allo has the pack-boost, when could we plan on seeing the Dire wolf get this boost as well?”

Any chance we could get separate sound output selection for in-game VOIP?

Also and chance to get access to SE resources, sand/sulfur etc on the other maps?

Would be nice not having to travel every time you want to repair your flame thrower or need more ammo.
Don't need an abundance so if you need a bunch you'll have to go there, can ofc ship resources, but options.

Fallout  allows you to make a account thru their website and download mods.

Could we please do the same.

 

Would really like to get Annukia and other PC Ark mods on Xbox one

Are we getting vehicles?

Also can we get a mythical creature update or dlc?

Will we be seeing more animations for creatures in the future? Either for wild creatures- such as sleeping, 'communicating' with others of their species, grooming, et cetera- or tamed ones, with special buttons for actions like threatening or roaring. ( I'd personally like to see Parasaurs having more use of their crest's sounds, maybe creating a loud call so nearby players are alerted / given a better idea of your location? )

I'd love to see Plateosaurus, Postosuchus and maybe Smok? Scientists don't know if it was a dinosaur, rauisuchid or what, and ya'll could have some fun with liberties, haha. Also, perhaps Diictodon? Allow players to "dig" holes where they could store useful items. Not like actual terra-forming, but more like a barely noticeable mesh that holds an inventory of items, allowing players to essentially squirrel their valuables away. Perhaps you could also send a Diictodon from one 'hole' it's made to another? Like a primitive teleporter for small to maybe medium things for smuggling purposes? Heh, heh. 

Questions:

Is there a chance that players will get something to help against the dreaded 'pick' maneuver of flyers? Saddle straps or perhaps investments in Fortitude? 

What do you think of a cap for movement speed? Because there comes a point where animals, mostly Pteranodons, become practically impossible to hit, and that's become something of a hallmark for PvP. Or perhaps just fix the thing's speed scaling? 

Will the Carno be ever able to support weaponry? I only say this because the Dire Bear is stronger and has more utility than a Carno, yet it has the ability to support weaponry, but the Carno doesn't. What about future animals like the Baryonyx and the Iguanadon? 

Speaking of the Dire Bear, will the Megalosaurus be able to grab it? 

Questions for @complexminded: Do you see Primitive + having craftable sailing ships? Like, maybe a frigate or a galleon, if it's not too much? Natural progressions from the Rowboat? Will Primitive + have its own endgame, given that it's not receiving the Tek Tier?
