xbox Prim+ Xbox Patch Notes Current: Primitive Plus 1.3 - Upcoming: v1.4

Hey guys!

These are the Official Xbox Patch Notes for Primitive Plus!

Current Version: v1.3

  • PC Content through v247 engram fixes!
  • Obsidian pickaxe harvest rates increased
  • Lumber Gate icon added 
  • Brick gate icon added
  • Fishing lootables edited to remove non-primitive items
  • Apiary bee duplication fixed - increased harvest rates of drone and queen bees
  • Honey spoiling time increased when in apiary
  • Melee weapon balance- many weapons have been adjusted for damage
  • Carnivore taming balance pass - fish, poultry, ribs, and bacon no are now balanced / no longer OP
  • Weight of dried rice reduced to .1 vs 1
  • Ground cashew engram is no longer duplicated in the handmill
  • Allo kibble can be crafted in cooking pot or cauldron
  • Brick and Lumber Gates can now be crafted in the construction bench
  • Cashew milk can be consumed like any other eatable
  • Various items no longer act as a feeding trough (traps, cabinets, miners box, etc)
  • Fuel source for fermenting barrel removed - should auto-activate
  • Fermenting barrel description improved to be more informative
  • Custom arrow balance - all arrows should have distinct damage differences
  • Water tower snap point improved to snap in a more logical placed
  • Collision for the cement ramps has been improved - no more crouching through doorways
  • Custom arrows can be used on core ark weapons (bow and crossbow)
  • Speed of arrows increased while using the longbow increased
  • Rolling pin texture on the cooking station corrected
  • Poultry can be cooked using all cooking methods (campfire, grill, etc)
  • Clay from primitive + no longer turns into the clay from scorched earth
  • Repairing while using the grindstone has been fixed
  • Crafting while using the grindstone has been fixed
  • The destructible mesh for stone fences corrected
  • Custom consumables also give HP repleneshment like standard ARK consumables
  • Icon has been added/corrected for the fishing traps
  • Cigarette crafting time has been reduced to 5 seconds
  • Cigarette consumption sound replaced with a non-eating sound
  • Tudor (L Bar) collision corrected
  • Tudor bar naming is now consistent in all views
  • Issues with limestone resolved - lumber structures no longer need limestone / limestone is recognized in valid crafting scenarios 
  • Lumber door now aligns with lumber doorframe
  • Armarberry and Azulberry jam recipes now call for the proper resources
  • Steel ingots now require an iron ingot in carbon to craft rather than iron ore and carbon ore
  • Sloped cement roof no longer needs to be relearned when relogging
  • Steel safe damage type corrected - added proper metal particles when attacking (rather than wood)

  • Tea, Coffee, Sugar, and Tobacco can't be used for taming

-Brick wall above brick doorway requires you to crouch going through it in and out.

Snapping is going to be adjusted if not already being done this patch, and the metal spikes im quite sure aren't going to be in Primitive+ or wasn't before!

Lol what? I can see metal spike wall in my engrams list and I have it unlocked as well...Metal spike wall is treated as stone, so idk why it wouldn't. Again, I have it learned in my engrams lul.

Yes and it was like that last time i played and i was pretty sure it was because Cedric earlier did not want it in Primitive he might have changed his mind now... Ill let you know

Do you happen to know wether or not he's going to implement some technology such as tracker nodes? It'd be such a major improvement. I know I read somewhere he said it's not all gonna be primitive perse so there's hope? Another option would be if he fixed it so you can have other blueprints spawned in by hosts in primitive+. I would give players on my server tracker nodes and blueprints to make things such as a longneck rifle but when server resets those items disappear when stored in storage boxes orso. When slotted they do end up in your inventory. I get this isn't a priority but it would be nice having the option!

Also wondering if he's making changes to the tranq arrows/crossbow. It is pretty much near impossible to get a direbear down with crossbow and arrows; I used to have this issue on vanilla aswell. Tranq darts work 100%. I've killed 4 150 bears so far, will keep trying I suppose. Might just trow something in the taming pen so it can heal up next time.

Noticed there's no mention in the patch notes of the bucket of Sugar engram having to be learned every time you log off. He is aware this is happening?

Will this update fix the dinos spawning inside of bases? I've lost too many dinos due to reoccurring allos or raptors that spawn in my Dino barn. It's to the point to where Im going to put up psx inside my barn. And any news on the fishing pole being added?

A few things that still need to be fixed, the first couple I feel are very important.

 First of all, foundations and ceilings should be solid! Dinos are glitching through even cement bases, and then can be killed by wild dinos underneath. This stops us being able to even bother trying to build on pillars. Characters also glitch through ceilings and foundations.

 Next, drastic rendering and glitch jump back when walking should be fixed. Very slow, stop and go movement when walking or flying near bases, even worse around and with tamed dinos.

 Wooden fence foundations with doorways on them, half to be ducked under when they have a wall above.

 No Tapejara or Allosaur saddles.

 Metal spike walls not showing in Smithy.

 Brick structures not snapping properly, leaving gaps in places.

 No trophies in caves! So no way for us to get to boss arenas. There is no reason we shouldn't have this on primitive plus.

Still no PC Update in sight, Seems you gave up on PrimPlus for PC, so many things broken that it hurts for a really long time now. 

Could you at least answer if and maybe when (thia year or maybe next year) Scorched Earth with Primitive Plus will be available and if it will be available for existing servers??? 

I know many ppl that left Prim Plus cause off all the bugs and moved to scorched earth but would like to play scorched earth with prim plus and use ark transfer then.

Don't worry, they broke the Xbox version even worse than before. It's a shame when QA fails and that it breaks more than any fix.

I had not issues taking down a bear with a bow and tranq arrows. If you read, you must time it right. He mentioned a blow gun that would have the affects of a tranq dart.

Content will come in next update. He clearly said, bug fixes, up to date with pc content, then prim plus content focus. Metal spikes are more of a higher tech tier. This is cave man days people, not the iron age. People are complaining and complaining and this team is working very hard to fix all of this. Give them credit. They now have a fully dedicated team working on prim+. You guys are doing an awesome job. I have 3 allosaurus and a jara, but would much rather have the bugs fixed and wait for saddles.

Make sure you are uses the bigger of the two buildings. The meat preserving shed is just for meat storage. The smokehouse makes the jerky. You have to use organic oils, not crude. Also if you put salt in the shed it makes two types of jerky. They have the same affects and can both be used to make kibble. It makes the jerky faster by doing this so you can make kibble faster. Hope this helps.

I should read before posting. i see there is talk of fixing these 2.  Also is there engrams for ground cashews? If so I'm missing them.
