PvP character transfer.

So since the last update, in order to upload character you must sit there on the Obelisk while your character still alive and present in the world.  Doesnt wildcard understand that that makes it way harder to try and find a server while on PvP. Now I have to stand there exposed and vulnerable in order to move to another Ark.

It used to just upload your character and then you chose the ark you'd like to join but they felt that needs to be changed. Can this get changed back to the old way??

All the contest and updates like this one seem to revere the mods and unofficial boosted servers. Did you forget about us playing on pvp officials? WC Never answered my question about the ridiculous taming times on scorched earth without kibble and now this ridiculous addition but I'll keep trying to make sense of this.
