MetroBirdMan
I'm just wondering if this is a bug or not... I have an adult male and an adult female scorpion. However they will not breed.. They have hearts above them (one single pink heart) and also when looking at the info box that pops up, it doesn't say "enable wonder to mate" or "ready to mate"... Thanks. Volunteer Moderator ciabattaroll Posted January 2, 2016 Volunteer Moderator Share Posted January 2, 2016 This is not a bug. Arthropod breeding is not in the game yet.

You are able to get eggs from them just not able to breed them.

WarriorsEcho
Ahh good, if i can get my scorpions to lay eggs... they just wont, they're mate boosted and i have a few in hopes to increase my chances but eh they want to be a pain, im in no rush for scorp kibble so its not too bad

However, you can get a lot (depends obviously how many scorps u got) by derendering it and coming back after 5 mins. Do not know exactly how long stasis lasts. Used this method to get Rex and Mantis eggs in a short period of time. Each time when you de-render and coming back after few minutes, it has a chance to lay an egg. If none - rinse and repeat. When I used to start fresh - scorps used to be one of the first tames I had as you can do whatever you need while it is being tamed. No kibble needed etc, just spoiled meet. Love those creatures. Had rexes all the time way earlier than I could make a saddle.

usrevenge
you can get eggs, just not fertilized eggs. also ovi rapter don't help them lay eggs but mate boost does.
