Wildcard Community StudioWildcard Posted March 7 Wildcard Community Posted March 7 The wilds of Astraeos keep getting wilder. Arriving this summer, Boaratos is not your typical forest brute. Towering at nearly twice the size of a Daeodon, this fiery juggernaut’s massive tusks carve through trees with surprising results, while its temper can quite literally ignite—setting its fur and tusks ablaze to unleash explosive attacks that leave enemies burning in its wake. This fearsome creature is based on a concept by DragonHeart, creator of the Arkology: Overseer’s Experiments mod, and it’s bringing a whole new kind of heat to Astraeos. Download in full resolution Expire servers are temporary servers across the network that will eventually be removed, and you can find them by searching for "Expire" in the session filter. These servers will be online until 10 am PST / 1 pm EST on March 9. We're preemptively using our allocation for future maps to host some additional sessions that players can travel onto to farm, tame, and experience the newest content Gameplay. The same transfer restrictions apply in that you are only able to download your character, but you can freely take anything off. This is to help reduce load off some of the other servers, or provide players an option for those who just want to jump onto a new map temporarily. Please note that these servers will no longer exist after 10 am PST / 1 pm EST on March 9, so if you intend to use them, remember to transfer your items/creatures/characters off before that date, as nothing will be saved beyond that time period. Download & play new custom content created by players, including new maps, creatures, items, and game modes, through a dedicated new Mod-browser directly within the game. Odawhing Posted March 7 Posted March 7 wildcard make the better rex mod official when gen 1 comes out please, the roar that reduces incoming damage by 24% and increases his attack by 24% is really good and fun to use, add this tlc to the rex please

Veloci2 Posted March 7 Posted March 7 How about making Astreaos playable? The constant crashes every cpl of hours and the 30 minute waits for it to reboot, love the map love love love it, but won't main on it.....why when it takes four times as long to raise stuff on it.

ladyteruki Posted March 7 Posted March 7 This is a good reaction to the "controversy" around unique creatures in Astraeos : it doesn't put the onus on Nekatus to "fix" what he had never broken in the first place ; it does provide a new creature to this map that's not just a way for WildCard to monetize Atlas assets a second time ; it promotes the work of a mod dev who had never had this opportunity before (and who hopefully is getting money from WildCard for this)... Seems like an all around win to me. When WildCard does something right (or delegates it the right way, at the very least), it needs to be said. Idontcareatthispoint Posted March 8 Posted March 8 (edited) Why are we planning on adding more wacky mythological creatures when the giant update you dropped on Astraeos has made it unplayable? Dc’d every 40 mins, down way too frequently, ping and lag are absolutely atrocious and still FULL of hacking players who help by adding the most ridiculously gigantic bases imaginable, but oh boy, I’m so excited for another creature that will annihilate the use of any older, less ‘modern’ tames like the Daedon. New mount looks great, and, I won’t complain about new dinosaurs but how about a PLAYABLE map first? Honestly WC what is the goal? Player time is valuable, too. Edited March 8 by Idontcareatthispoint
