Open its carapace and it becomes a living command post, allowing multiple riders to shelter within while defending from behind natural plating. Close it, and the Tortugar transforms into a near-impenetrable bastion with your crew breathing freely inside. It moves with steady purpose across both land and seabed, capable of walking the ocean floor and harvesting valuable resources. And when the waters crackle with danger, the Tortugar remains… shockingly unimpressed. Whether you’re exploring the scorching sands of Pyranthos or staging an amphibious assault, the Tortugar is ready to carry your crew and hold the line. Download in full resolution Moving day is near! Official Lost Colony transfers will fully open on February 20th, allowing players to move items, creatures, and characters onto the map without restriction! Please pack your dodos in bubble wrap. Expire servers are temporary servers across the network that will eventually be removed, and you can find them by searching for "Expire" in the session filter. These servers will be online until 10 am PST / 1 pm EST on March 2nd. We're preemptively using our allocation for future maps to host some additional sessions that players can travel onto to farm, tame, and experience the newest content Gameplay. The same transfer restrictions apply in that you are only able to download your character, but you can freely take anything off. This is to help reduce load off some of the other servers, or provide players an option for those who just want to jump onto a new map temporarily. Please note that these servers will no longer exist after 10 am PST / 1 pm EST on March 2nd, so if you intend to use them, remember to transfer your items/creatures/characters off before that date, as nothing will be saved beyond that time period. ladyteruki Posted February 14 Posted February 14 No lies, Atlas' Tortugar is one of my favorite Atlas creatures, so despite how cheap it feels that the Atlas creatures are crossing over for paid DLC (meaning that people who bought it once will pay for it a second time), I find it a relatively cool news. I was also in love with the Leatherwing, both visually and in terms of sound design (even though its abilities were nothing to write home about), and a couple of other dinosaur-adjacent creatures like the Razortooth or the Shieldhorn had a cool design, but those were never wildly different from their ARK counterparts in terms of abilities, and have always felt like a reskin (but then again, Atlas was that in many ways). The Tortugar, however, is a fun creature that feels unique enough. Fingers crossed the Olfend is next to water crops on the go ? Since people are paying for Atlas content, might as well go all the way. 2 1

I found this while looking at an attack ourpost in LC. Even it it isn't AI, it still seems very out of place dude because those little images are always drawn with those white outlines yk. So sorry if I am wrong, I just found this very strange and usually AI images tend to look like that. 1

Look it up on the ark wiki 1 1
Beller Posted February 14 Posted February 14 it was also a saddle icon for one of the ark additions creatures when it was still a mod on ase but i can't remember which one as well as for a lot of primal fear saddles

As far as I'm aware they are doing both, the assets are already made reusing them makes sense.
