Timonya is an extinct genus of Temnospondyl caudate amphibian represented by the type species Timonya anneae from the Early Permian of Brazil.
It was probably a small aquatic predator that inhabited lakes and swamps during the Early Permian. The center of tetrapod diversity was in the equatorial regions of the supercontinent Pangea, and Timonya was part of this fauna.
This cute, strange-shouldered creature, which looks like a small mix of Diplocaulus and Kaprosuchus (between 30 and 40 centimeters long), with the gills of an axolotl on its head. It is a species of salamander that does not develop in the larval stage, remaining in this state even as an adult and only undergoes metamorphosis when it receives the necessary hormones from others of its species.
They are good at swimming fast but very slow on land, they are friendly to players but hostile to fish like coelacanths, and they have enormous regeneration. This creature is very rare and popular among survivors due to its very useful abilities, especially because it is a lucky charm capable of improving the survivor's looting and crafting skills!
Features:
- they have several different colors ranging from the most common (Pink, Black...) to the rarest (... Green, Gold);
- Wild Timonyas release hormones that in a certain quantity and from a certain level can be used to force the metamorphosis of your domesticated "axolotl";
- they can breathe in and out of water, but they need humidity to not dry out, so it's a good idea to have plenty of water in your inventory;
- even wild axolotls regenerate very quickly, so to kill them you need to be "strong and fast";
- they are immune to torpor and due to their slippery body they are not hit by arrows or claws;
Skills: - Healer: While on the Survivor's shoulder, grants a small bonus to Stamina health regeneration;
- Itemfinder: gets agitated near loot;
- Flashbang: when attacked, generates a flash that scares and briefly blinds any nearby creature, even its owner, unless it is on its shoulder (this ability prevents attacks, especially those from Purlovia, Thylacoleo, Raptor, Baryonyx...) ;
- Larval Phase: can generate light like other luminous creatures, however, this light grants the status of “Luck” to everyone it illuminates. This “luck” generates a chance to improve its owner's fabrications according to their manufacturing skill, in addition to being able to improve loot, whether from Air drops or creatures, making, for example, a normal pickaxe or saddle become ascendant ( leaving a certain glow on upgraded items to show that they have been changed);
- Salamander Phase: when it undergoes metamorphosis and assumes its adult salamander form, it transforms into a shoulder-bearing creature, similar to the sinomacrops, improving its swimming instead of flying! Its light changes and instead of granting "luck" it starts giving a small XP bonus to everything it illuminates (similar to, but better than, a lytrosaurus);
-Underwater Collector: when it is in the water, in its adult form (like a salamander), it automatically farms the same resources as the beaver house such as cement, rare flower and mushroom, silica pearl, as well as black pearl!
Domestication: It will be a passive taming, using a special bait made from insect remains (chitin), fish meat, rare flower, honey, organic polymer and worm horn. Interestingly, the taming meter tends to rise more easily at night or in places dark like caves, you must find them in some water sources in or near caves, and you must fish them with special bait to remove them from the bottom of the water and only then will they accept any drop of insects or fish to complete the taming (you can tame him without the bait, but if you try he will, every time, use the light grenade and run away, but if he is attacked the taming meter will be reset and you will have to start again);
