I'd love a prehistoric leopard seal esque creature that while limited on lands will still give a survivors a run for their money, and in water is like a fighter jet under the seas
I'd love for it to excel in gathering organic polymer (more so than the clubs you mad men and women)
Insulation bonus
A type of electric receptors to hunt in the murky waters that works similar to the bats echolocation
Perhaps a move to immediately U-turn in the water and gain a movement speed buff and more
Perhaps a slipstream buff when nearing other water creatures similar to the Troph
And maybe give them a grab for small creatures that makes the bite attack just a brutal thrash and slam the poor thing into a ground to really sell the savagery :3 and a cute land flop to sell the cuteness ^-^
Maybes - those chompers a bleed or level of armor penetration when tamed or wild and tamed just to make them more threatening ;3
Maybes - The streamline idea or a type of "lateral line" pressure sense that makes invisible imaginative non-existent water currents to buff it's speed
Maybes - have ability to jump from the water to body slam or grab flyers straight from the air to drown them (Sorry Pelagornis, not sorry Icthyornis)
