The night sky sparkles gifts falling from the sky, and the faint jingle of bells echoes across the ARK—it can only mean one thing: RaptorClaus is back! Sailing through the midnight sky in his festive sleigh, he’s dropping gifts packed with high-end loot, Mistletoe for the nice, and Coal for the naughty. Deck the halls with boughs of holly! Winter Wonderland returns with new presents and goodies for ARK survivors. The epic winter-themed holiday event begins on December 23, 2024 and will be live until January 9, 2025 on Official Servers.

• From the Main Menu, select the mod tab.
• Search for Winter Wonderland in the ARK Mod list and Install it.  Mod ID: 927090
• After it's installed, go back to your game setup screen and select 'Mod Settings'
• You will see Winter Wonderland and any other mods you've downloaded in 'Available Mods'
• Select Winter Wonderland and activate it.

• If you would like to enable Winter Wonderland on your private servers, please add the mod ID to your server command-line launch arguments (-mods=modID). No other changes should be necessary to activate the event.

8 hours and not a single word about xbox. literally every other game company in existence doesn't have this problem. 8 hours where xbox players cant defend their bases. almost a decade of you making the exact same mistakes time and time again and not learning. it must be genuinely embarrasing to admit you work at wildcard.

2x?  For the best event of the year. Plus xbox not even being able to play yet.  Can't even play older maps.  Wow WC. Wow!

Servers are all capped. Even our 5 tribe PlayStation group cannot join a server together. Where is the second batch of servers that was promised? we've been messed around with ridiculous server drop times in the AM UK time already and then having to deal with the same crap the following day also? 
This is an extremely disappointing map release, not even began trying to find a base spot and already exhausted. 
Also, learn to keep the server drop information on the SURVIVETHEARK.COM and off employee twitter posts. Many of us don't even have discord or twitter so why post crucial information there regarding server release.

Almost every comment about Xbox and not a dev response in sight.. oh yeah that’s right they don’t give a poop about us.. I wish they would sell ark to a studio that can actually make deadlines keep their word and show their paying customers a little bit of respect but I think we have a better chance of them releasing a game on time than that happening!! It’s not the fact that things come up and unforeseen things happen it’s that they do this with every release without fail if they worked this hard at fixing the game and their reputation as they do finding new ways to screw the community they’d have the best polished game in the world.. seriously wildcard sell ark to a team that cares and can do what they say they’ll do..

Um Sorry to bother you Ark developers 

but I'm an Xbox player who really wants too play on the new map. I get that you have to get the cert issue taken care of, however dont you think its unfair to the Xbox and windows players that you aren't really pushing the issue to get Microsoft backside moving faster to get it done.  This is not a new issue that ya'll seem to have ( not blaming all of it on WC) I'm well aware that Christmas is around the corner but it's not here yet and all of ya including Microsoft have a job to do.  

Merry Christmas.  I believe you will figure it out soon. I would appreciate an update please

Xbox update is still not here,  our whole tribe is xbox players and we are on a pvp server. Thanks ark devs,  there better be a rollback for screwing over all xbox players

I dont see a lot of new content that would merit this events delay?  Gacha Claus is certainly not new so was something added to make it different?  U do know most people want to take Christmas decorations down the day after Christmas, right?  How can we convince, whoever it is at Wildcard making these decisions, to start the holiday events AT LEAST 2 weeks prior to the holiday?  Real easy thing to do.  

Cant wait to play Extinction! Sadly, im an xbox player so im waiting like everyone else.  All we can do is hope it comes out today sometime. If not, could be after the new year as im sure a lot of employees are taking time for the holidays!

Merry Christmas to you all and thank you for all the hard work you do.  Launches may be rough but we still love the game!!

This is my fear as well.  Would be so terrible if this happens. Already difficult seeing some of the Youtube videos about Extinction when we cant play it.  They should have delayed it for everyone.  I said the same thing when they release content for Xbox/Steam but not PS.  If its cross-play then game should not be released til ALL platforms can play on it, in my opinion.

Always the same thing with this game. 40 minutes to enter the game, sometime it chashes when you are in a battle and lose everything. And now the game does not work because there are no server to login

microsoft didnt force wildcard to set its dates and continually screw up for nearly a decade making the same mistakes over and over again. all blame lies solely on wildcard. i know of not a single company that doesn't have certification done significantly in advance of a content launch.

12 hours since it launched on pc and ps, half a bloody day of xbox players not being able to access their official servers. factoring in the additional 8-12 hours it will take to potentially get extinction on xbox unless theres another delay. xbox will be at a disadvantage of a full day on any already existing servers. not to mention how many bases will have been raided and how many tames starved or were lost in upload because xbox players couldn't access the servers. this genuinely might be the biggest disaster wildcard has ever had. 

its hard to state just how hard wildcard dropped the ball, they have once again proved themselves the reigning champions of mismanagement.

They said Xbox certification was taking 4X as long. If there was a delay of 1 day initially it stands to reason that it won't be until Monday when we can play. If Xbox is 4X as long that is. I think they told us the answer without actually telling us the answer. They just want to keep the fire contained as long as they can.
