It's weird how the poster art for the Animated Series... doesn't look anything like the art style of the animated series. You didn't use AI, did you ?

Acknowledging the problem is not the same as fixing it.

What we need is to give those two the infrastructure they need to organize superevents like this on a semi-regular basis. Not weekly obviously, but often. Because I have discovered SO MANY Ark content creators from this video alone !

The master of traps strikes again ! (you forgot the description)

I am in love with the RK-WL idea. Having alternatives to HLNA is a cool concept. Even if it's malfunctioning (...on purpose ?).

yeah im hopeing the map will be more playable then abberation was and still is cause on xbox series x the game is still not enjoyable for the most part and honestly i'd much rather have performance improvements and the unreal engine upgrade then a new map/dlc that will only last for a few launchs of the save and then start crashing/dashboarding upon trying to load it up... all the other maps are mostly doing that and if not when u play for 15min it crashes sure Extinction is being help back 3 extra days and im hopeing for the best but i am expecting the worst, meanwhile Windows10 Ark survival ascended is in a more playable/enjoyable state then console and this is comeing from a computer that doesn't meet the minimun requirements for the game...

Yeah, bullsh*t it will be released on the 19. Come midnight if the 19 there won't have been a single word said about the release of the update, and at about 7:00 or 8:00 a.m. on Friday the 20th, it might actually be released. They say the 19th, but trust me it won't be 12:01 a.m. on the 19th. It'll be 11:59 p.m. on the 19th with no word about the release, until the following morning. It's how it always goes. There has not been a single date that this company has been able to keep. I love ARK, and I will keep playing. But seriously, don't kid yourself even in the slightest.

3 day delay compared to the average delays WC has had is a huge improvement and I have to give props where it is due. I don't think many people even had faith we would see extinction this year.

You have to give props to a company who continually fails to meet deadlines they set. ? And this is why they keep failing. Zero accountability.

It's sad that these delays have become a running joke...3 days isn't a big deal but another delay here is just an example that a team of remedial community college students can earn a living on mediocre work. I appreciate what you all have done, I've been here since day one, but to still be dealing with the same repeated problems is asinine. Blah blah insert psychosis definition etc...more importantly though...we got screwed out of our super turkeys and now no mention at all, of the Christmas event?? What is this about? Is this a woke thing, to remove holidays? I like you all, but if you don't see the need to do better, Ark needs to be in the hands of a studio that can properly handle this.

That's the issue tho. They are young, absolutely clueless about businesses and how to keep them up, they've had a lucky hunch with a great game but what they fail to realize is that the moment they get actual competition, it will 100% do better as it couldn't do worse and wildcard will lose a noticeable amount of customers that probably won't come back for potential future games. Really, i love ark, but i truly despise how they treat the community that's been loyal through years of disappointments. this utter lack of giving a crap is just not acceptable. Always the path of least resistance, not putting in the effort, and a crunch with *nothing* but an info about the delay to underline the bigger problem.

I was expecting a delay, but what people are saying about being grateful for a smaller delay... Are you crazy? First of all, it isn't 'a smaller delay' until it actually drops and since that's almost a week from now, don't expect this to be a final date.

I know what i'm about to say is a little extreme of an example and the situation is of course not the same, but if your friend got beaten by her husband several times a day, do you tell her to stop complaining and rather be grateful if there is a day where it's 'not as much'? Absolutely mindblowing, no wonder they don't see a need to change how they go about things.

They just have to realize that the only reason they still have a community is the absolute lack of comparable games, once that changes it's over. It should not require a genius to draw these very basic conclusions.

Consistently trying to do everything they possibly can to sap out every single dollar they can after making us pay $70 for a graphics update. They're using the best psychology they can as well to keep you hooked on the game and looking forward to content that has already been released, and purposely doing them out of order of the ones that the community actually likes so you keep playing, hoping, and waiting for the next inevitable disappointment. I would rather they legitimately stop doing anything than doing things halfway or lackluster. I love this game's premise and so much about it, but it gets totally washed out by an atrocious dev team. Also Jat, probably my least favorite figure in all of the video gaming industry.

especially with the holidays coming up and platforms closing for break which prevents our ability to heavily update the game.

No of course, that's perfectly understandable. I don't know why everyone is being bitter. It's not your fault, you couldn't have predicted that Christmas was going to happen in December this year.

You have got to be kidding me , I took time off work based off of what you have been saying for over a month , even took an extra day in case there was a delay , shame on me tho for expecting wildcard to actually hit a release on time , been out over a year and same crap man , doubt I’ll continue to invest in these dlc add ons , already wasted enough money and time to be disappointed yet again

Oh boo hoo you won't be able to pillar everything on day 1. And the way you say "invest", sounds even more like you planned on selling the land for real $.

"shame on me tho for expecting wildcard to actually hit a release on time", as if the first 10 delays weren't clear enough 🤣

Go back to work.

Can we just leave Extinction untill after Christmas? Because the maps currently are all pretty much unplayable right now, and Extinction was a mess before, and I really cannot see it being remotely playable with the game in the state it is currently in. Constant freezing for at least 20 seconds if you dare to walk a few steps, lagging, flying into invisible barriers in the sky, inventory contents disappearing, you and/or your tame being at one point then whoosh, appearing several hundred yards away and being hugged by some alpha creature...then getting kicked from the game and held out by the log in lock just long enough to kill aforesaid tame. This is on playstation, but from my global community of friends it is worldwide and multiplatform same issues.

I think , much though we are excited for Extinction, most of us would rather wait untill the basic fundamental game is actually playable.

I have literally none of these issues you mention on Series X...

But I do agree on waiting. I've always said I'd rather wait as long as it takes until stuff is ready, rather than have to deal with a disaster release lol.

luckily for us, similar games are appearing, look at palword and a game similar to ark has been announced but with mechanical creatures similar to those in horizon zero down, I personally hope for a game with only dinosaurs and creatures from the most ancient eras with an appearance and behavior as faithful as possible to current knowledge.

Bro a series s can't even really play ASA and even some computers, series X, and PS5 have issues at times especially with mods, do you really think your complaint is all that feasible to fix vs everyone else's about the delays when they could've done something as simple as given a further away drop date with no delays or be honest with their community about how it's going to get pushed back instead of doing it a few days before drop after trying to build hype for it? We're suffering from a crappy marketing technique. The game was designed for PC over all you can tell by the quality difference, mobile has been lacking in the technology to hold up for years. Not trying to be rude or a sausage btw just kinda pointing out facts.

Just a suggestion, the quote function could help people easier tell who you are replying to. Anyway, I guess Wildcard really gets way in over their head about everything on all platforms. They need to give themselves more time for things or work harder to meet their release dates. Genesis 2 took an entire year longer than they expected because they completely overestimated the Switch’s capabilities. Well, I suppose things could be worse if some other company owned Ark.
