Well, I am sincerely glad that you are able to trust them. If you are able to enjoy ASA and able to like the company behind it then that is very good for you. I remember being so happy. It is my hope that you will always be.

For me though, I just can't. They've told far to many outright blatant lies. I'm not sure if there is anything they can do to regain my trust.

Wherever the light passes through too many layers of trees and leaves, the shadows on the ground are a flickering mess. Light shafts through the trees blink as well.   I think the devs expect too much from UE5 Lumen here, it isn't precise and fast enough for this level of detail.  You need make some custom baked lighting and shadow maps, or wait until GPUs are fast enough to path trace faster and more precisely.  Otherwise, massively reduce the complexity of the overhead geometry that is casting shadows.

This lighting issue in UE5 problem is present in all maps and other UE5 games in general, it's just made incredibly obvious by the design choices in Aberration.   The devs indicated there was a patch to remedy it, but as expected it didn't work as this isn't something you can just patch.
