The time I booked off a day for release on ARK has been ages. Releasedates are reliable as an earthquake.

I do however booked a  truckload of popcorn for that date plus the following weeks.

Your best bet is to follow Ark Survival Evolved on twitter. However... It will be done when it's done and not before. Once the update is downloaded and the servers live there will be constant patches/fixs and probably roll backs. Try to just enjoy killing, taming and building.
