Winsletta
So it's been a few weeks since I've been in my single player game. I have the deinosuchus mod installed and had tamed/raised a few generations to get a really good beefy boi. I see that now we have deino in the main game and the problem is that Wildcard doesn't seem to have ported the mod files and creature IDs correctly because .. they're just gone. I logged in with the mod installed, deinosuchus still chilling outside. I check engrams and I see double saddles for deino, telling me they're different item files. I cryo a deino and log, disable the mod, log in and the cryo is empty. The engrams show only 1 saddle, but the previously crafted saddles I had for my guys are gone. The yard is empty. I couldn't find any along the rivers and swamps while flying around, I did a wild dino wipe and none are spawning. I know they're sneaky guys. You need to do better Wildcard. Like I'm really trying to stay positive about the future of Ark but c'mon man. What a waste.
Fratzfamily
I had a question regarding the Deinosuchus being added to the core game, then I saw your post: My two Deinosuchus' did not disappear (I am sorry to hear that yours did) when added to the core game. So I guess I should not remove the mod then? I was worried that if I removed the mod I would lose my two Deinosuchus. Does anyone know if I would keep my Dinos if I removed the mod? Same for the Ceratosaurus and Xiphactinus that were added as well.
Howlk
if your deinosuchus are ArkAddition deinos and you remove the mod theyre just gone. You gotta convert them to the ASA variant first. Mods like super cryo storage have built-in converters for example.
