Community Crunch 407: Premium Mods, LiveOps Update, and more!

As we approach the June release of The Center, as well as the ongoing remaster of Aberration and the future of Bob's Tall Tales, our team remains dedicated to continually improving the live game experience. While we are excited about our upcoming projects, we are also diligently working to enhance current gameplay features and content.

 

 

We have a major version patch in certification (this means a build has been submitted to Microsoft and Sony for testing) which will enable Premium Mods on console. Along with Premium Mods, we're looking forward to a load of fixes and some balance tweaks we've added in this patch. These include an oft requested buff to black pearls and Death Worms, a nerf to the overly excited Scorched Earth weather events, a fix for Bees, a fix for Thyla jump, Fire Wyvern breath tweaks along with general game fixes and dozens more. Hang tight, the patch should drop next week if it passes cert and get ready to dive into Premium Mods!

Ark Omega Ascended is a mod like no other, providing procedural edits to creatures, players, items, and more. Well over 1000 versions of every creature exist in this mod, with abilities that range from being able to create black holes that pull in enemies to being able to create a protective bubble that redirects all incoming damage done to allies directly to the spell caster / tank.

 

GG SkyIslands Premium Mod offers floating island to use as base of operations. The SkyIslands are themed for different environments and scenic to add an immersive and natural feeling to it's existence. SkyIslands come in various sizes up to Epic variety and with multiple biomes. With each new DLC release multiple new SkyIslands or will be added inspired from the new DLC map.

So another week's wait or more for Bees? That's ridiculous. You might aswell open transfers for Scorched since you already let people get away with transfers through exploits. 

How is it that even basic things such as a BP rate fix or allowing bees to spawn has taken so long? You should check your reviews, the game we love is tanking.

It hurts my brain to think about how complex this game is, the work the developers likely have to put into it to balance everything & not break other things while delivering new content. You developers are appreciated!

Ah yes SAVE THE BEES! They are hard to find on the island and almost impossible to find on scorched earth. A fix to the rocket thyla finally? I meam it's a funny glitch but the sliding down part made by lose a thyla to the 2nd little jump in that cave in the ruins on se instant death while climbing back up. ☠️

Sometimes when entering caves I get this annoying visual bug where it creates black and red clouds preventing me from seeing this mainly happens on scorched ey

Wait... you launched Omega PVP servers? The mod isn't meant for PvP, you can literally be immune to other players. It's going to lead to so many complaints from people that think it'll be fair lol. I'll keep the popcorn handy.
