As the aroma of Thanksgiving feasts leaves the air, we're excited to bring it back in the form of murderous turkeys! Our Turkey Trial event is now live until Monday, December 18th!

  • From the Main Menu, select the mod tab.
  • Search for Turkey Trial in the ARK Mod list and Install it.  
  • After it's installed, go back to your game setup screen and select 'Mod Settings'
  • You will see Turkey Trial and any other mods you've downloaded in 'Available Mods'
  • Select Turkey Trial and activate it.

  • If you would like to enable Turkey Trial on your private servers, please add -mods=927083 to your server command-line launch arguments. No other changes should be necessary to activate the event

 

Turkey Trial will be live from 12/8 to Monday,12/18!

You can use the instructions below to opt-in once we've sent out the beta branch name and server information via Discord!

You will need the Steam version of Ark Survival Ascended as you will be activating a beta branch of the game. 

  • Open your steam Library and right click on Ark Survival Ascended, then click "Properties"

  • Navigate to the "Betas" tab on the menu that will have appeared. 

  • Select the proper beta branch from the Beta participation drop-down. 

Doing this will cause your game to download an update, which will patch and update your game. You would also need to follow these steps if you choose to leave the beta program.

Please add more servers it doesn't even need to be an insane amount just add some so atleast some people can compete. I know you can't tons and please everyone but you can please some by adding even a

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post feedback about this, but the Rhynio nerf has felt REALLY bad for PVE players.  Carrying an allied dino should not give the same penalty as carrrying

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post feedback about this, but the Rhynio nerf has felt REALLY bad for PVE players. 

Carrying an allied dino should not give the same penalty as carrrying a wild dino or enemy dino. I think it should be 50% for carrying an enemy dino, 25% for carrying an allied dino, and 0% for wild, or have it at least be based on drag weight. Farming with an anky is sooooo slow now and shouldn't be the same thing as carrying a rex :(

Ideally I'd prefer the total revert of the movespeed nerf while carrying, but if it must happen at least make it so it's only a penalty on creature over a certain drag weight, this genuinely does not feel fun or like a good change.

I was having this issue and I figured out the fix! for some reason the Xbox-Only Multiplayer Button is on by default so you need to uncheck this when you load into the server list. I think the first time you open the list you cannot click it so back out and go back in and then click it. Hope this helps

I've been trying to get on. i'm raising babies and for the last 7 hours it's still showing zero official servers. Please fix it guys.

Whats the end to have a color event, with 250 tames limit and no cryopods, hellloooo delete the event its worthless like this.  algo cannot go out to have some resource gathering cuzz guess what all important resourses are not even spawningggg.... ahjjjj you promise a thing and allways do other i dont know why im still here.

So we’re all in agreement that the modder’s track just boils down to “develop mods for us on the cheap!” right? Some food for thought ladies and gents: any time a contest says win “up to x” amount in rewards you should never expect the reward to even get near the value of the top amount. Unless the prize is cash with a hardset agreeable minimum winnable amount don’t waste your effort.
