Hello,

Me and my tribe recently started on ark Ascended after taking a long break from the original game. We started build a base but then someone parked their raft right out side of our base. They were able to build on our base even though we had a fence and Dino gate right next to them. Can someone tell me why this happened we did not have this problem in the last game.

 If the other player had already claimed the land before you built your base, then their claim takes precedence. Even if your structures are closer, their claim overrides yours in that area.
