Rivers and rafts

So did they make the rivers wider and or deeper so that rafts can go farther into the island?

I've got a river rafting expedition planned to find out just that, but it probably won't happen for a few days.

i built an initial small fort on a raft and used it to travel all around the Island and up rivers as much as i could.  in my opinion there are more areas where the water used to be deeper and it is so shallow now it is impassable via raft.

Due to the increased size of rocks in ASA vs ASE there are less travel paths than before in rivers, in caves, up mountains, on mountains, smaller beaches, etc.

Traversing the Island's rivers on a raft has always been more of a pain than it's worth, or at least it was in ASE. I'd always be stopping to break a rock or something that was obstructing the raft.

Some other maps did have rivers that were more raft-able, but I only have miserable memories of it from the Island.

Can confirm now what was stated above. Every river mouth I've tried is impassible by raft.

So at best you would need a raft for the ocean and a raft for the river you want to traverse.
