Request for Hardcore Server on ASA - Hardcore Community would greatly appreciate

Hello,

Congratulations on launch! We are excited to replay ark again with its updated visuals! I know launch is always a supper busy time for you guys, it seems everyone is hard at work stabilizing the game. Question,  Is there any news about hosting an official hardcore server? Many of us in the hardcore community are unsure if ASA will be including one. If so is there an ETA for it?

I was forgetting that they want to open the conquest servers, but whoever was asking for them, I don't seem to see requests with more than 40 votes to have these servers or by chance they are there but I haven't seen them please if there are let me see them, seriously who does he want to play on those servers after what snail did?

I dont know how u could say there is not enough demand when on smalls tribes most of time u have 6 to 10 accounts max logged in at once on servers lol. when u can have one of every map on hardcore and guarantee to have the same population. The fact u have 40 up vote for hardcore servers should say that enough. Also no crossark servers to... Hundreds of people played crossark servers and they dont have them still. Sooo there has to be other reasons besides demand because the demand is there just not the servers. I know dozens of americans australians and europeans that would jump at cross arks and hardcore. They just dont want to play with or fight mega tribes on smalls and official. BTW everyone knows small tribes have multiple people log on to 1 account so thats why I consider them mega tribes also..... I have 9k hours in ark survival evolved I know these things.

As the god king PvPer of my Crossark and hardcore servers...never died once kinda a legend. the most fun i had was in hardcore kinda forces you to do boss fight other then element and changes pvp so you cant just nonstop turkey run everything. +1 for hardcore,cross ark servers

I just don't get that argument. How does a lack of HC servers show, that there is no demand? This thread (#1 suggestion topic) clearly shows the demand. Just repurpose only one of the empty official servers as a hardcore one. Even just using the "The Island" map, I am sure you will see constant usage right from the start. Should I be wrong, *then* you have a point in saying "there is no demand".

It's pretty simple. WildCard said these servers don't exist due to lack of enough demand.

No need for one. They said the same about ORP. The logic extends to this mode as well. If the demand was enough, the servers would exist.

So im extending an offer for you guys as Hardcore and ORP servers are in demand but Dollie and WC dont seem to think so.

It was originally made for us players wanting ORP but i see you guys are getting the same treatment as us so i welcome you guys to join as well. Maybe together we can show these devs that specialty servers are in fact popular and in demand.

We made a discord server back in ASE hardcore for everyone who stayed actively playing it's almost 200 players ready to jump back again but maybe it's not enough ??

In the long run ASA may be more successful implementing only hardcore mode. With enough money, time, and talent put into it they'd create a second life for players that may last for decades. It'd probably grow slowly in player count, but once people start to feel and relate to it as a real virtual life they'd stay and value their progress much more. With something like club ARK introduced and possibly expanded it further increases the opportunities to treat it more as a second life than a game. One of the reasons we're not getting any server may be that most hardcore players (at least on XBOX) seem to have used an exploit for years that disrespected the hardcore concept by creating multiple characters they hid in the upload where noone could kill them. If most of the community behaved like that and if I was a developer that would drive me in the direction of not wanting to introduce hardcore again, at least not with a similar exploit opportunity.

I dont think that its a good idea, because devs will not be able to determine who wants what and which request is viable, and which is not.
Plus, all of these mods are completely different, so putting them together doesnt make much since
I totally support everyone, who wants the game mod they enjoyed back in ASE and got it missing now, but i still believe we need to separate eggs from potatoes

I would also love to see this happen as I have had a few Hardcore playthroughs I really enjoyed as well. The game feels so different, and the community was always great.

It’s a shame that such a dedicated community can’t get one server cluster while so many servers are completely dead.
