ORP Servers

When I first got into ark some years back I hopped on an official orp pvp server and played for years without knowing there were other types. Don't judge me lol.... but I'm curious will orp pvp servers be available at launch? I genuinely don't know if that was like a late addition server or something.

This is true. Thats why we cleansed crossark5 of all the cheaters. It was pretty good after we got rid all of the orp abusers.

for most people it is difficult to find 6 people active every day and for multiple hours a day. just think of the majority on-online games, just to give a recent example, Helldiver is for 4 players, as is the most played game Fornite allows you to create groups of up to 4 people, not 5 or more because most people don't has such a large group of friends with whom they regularly play the same game.

you are talking about 6 people but the servers of small tribes push you to create alliances with other tribes since there is no orp function which leads you to have to find other people to get along with in the game and this is a further and unnecessary difficulty  

If the small tribe servers were really meant for tribes of MAXIMUM 6 people (tribes of 6 on these servers should be considered large, most tribes don't have 6 players) they would have to have the orp function to really work, in the current state they are useful only to get x3 rates 

small tribe ORP servers would allow those who already play small tribes to play, those who already want ORP, it would attract PVE players who want an extra challenge and classic PVP people who would like a less harsh experience. all of us players win, however if there are people who prefer to play without the ORP WC can simply maintain some servers without the ORP

I've put thousands of hours in on official ORP pvp servers on ASE and had some of the best gaming times of my life on there. Orp official servers brought in new life to the game and brought in so many players it was finally conceivable to play pvp long term and not have everything you put all your time and effort into wiped in a month or two. I can stand losing it all due to raids, I can even stand losing it all to bad RNG and dying because of a mesh glitch or getting booted off the server because of a disconnection issue, but putting time and effort into something that is set to be wiped and gone isn't doable and neither is playing without ORP for people that just simply don't have the time to put into it or help from other players. If enough of us make enough of a uproar we can do what we did to the people who tried to make sonic from the sonic movie look like a south park reject and hopfully reach wildcard and have it put into ark survival ascended. I appreciate all the hard work the devs have done over the years since ASE first dropped but the more I talk to people online and in person the more I hear people wanting it back. Please bring it back, share this to other socials, comment on it, whatever you can do for the algorithm, let's make it feasible to play pvp long term and bringing dedicated players back to the game again!!

Then why not make as loud of a uproar as possible and get WC to understand it's not just a few who want it it's a very large amount of people. All we have to do is go on Twitter and complain to wildcard on their posts publicly and complain in the official discord. I'm currently trying to get as many people as possible to complain to WC to get our voices and opinions heard. WC will not ignore a large grouping of people complaining heavily about it on Twitter on their page where everyone can see it

Hey everyone please help me make a uproar and get wildcard to hear our community and bring Official PVP ORP servers to ark survival ascended!! I'm gaining pull with people and they're getting on board please spread the word and help make it reliable and feasible to play the game again while working having a kid or going to school!! (Just in case ORP stands for offline raid protection it allowed people who work have kids or go to school actually play PVP long term reliably) most of the issues with ORP abuse has already been fixed with the reworking of the maps, you can fix a good chunk by removing pin codes. Pop has went down on most official servers and private servers have issues with it too or there wouldn't be so much advertising for those peoples servers. ORP allowed people who didn't have the time to spend all day grinding for a few fobs and materials and was a big draw for players especially long term players. I myself have gotten dozens of people to play because of ORP alone, I've even talked to people who have went back to competitors like rust dayz and Conan exiles because of the lacking of ORP servers which was a huge edge over all those other games since they didn't have anything quite like it. I've spoken on Twitter, Facebook, reddit, and wildcards official discord. There was entire servers full of people who stopped playing ASA when ORP didn't come in the game and I know so many people that would go back and play around 20 personally and hundreds online at the least and thats just people who havent given up and spoken up. There has even been several petitions to get official pvp ORP servers that have been ignored. It doesn't affect a single other players server and if anything would get more long term dedicated players who will happily buy all DLC you come out with and even buy ark2 but currently wont spend a single cent more because they feel the despair of betrayal assuming it was going to be in asa since it was in ase and the game was supposed to have everything ase did. Don't ignore your community. Why not add back in the mode that allowed one of your largest players bases to actually play the game? I'm currently speaking for quite a few people when I say these things so don't let them go ignored further especially when dropping another map is so close why not get the extra market value out of it and announce ORP is coming with it and draw back in the players you've lost and get all the ones youre missing out on?

Hi! one of the irl people. This guy spent a long time talking me into ark survival evolved. When I finally gave it a shot, i sunk thousands of hours into the game. I bought the game for my wife, kids, and brothers. Including DLC, just so we could have a tribe. with that being said, I am an adult with children and a job. the fact that ORP servers have not been added back to ASA yet is actually a gross joke. You descended from a place where those who contributed to society also had a chance to play and enjoy the game. 

I was a fool to buy the game when it was on sale for $20. Cant even get that much value out of it. the allure of the heavy mod inclusion lured me in. i was a sucker. mods are always broken and updates for the bigger ones can go months without getting approved regardless of the fact mod devs are pushing them. just makes it look like the content creators are actually running circles around the dev team.I certainly will not be getting fooled a third time by buying the DLC. definitely not several times over. 

Y'all had some problems before, but you were alpha in my eyes. 
Now you're just some bobs on a beach full of bobs.

Tbh I don't think it ever had anything to do with ORP not being popular, if you look at it statistically rn most of the servers especially popular ones with consistent pop are all orp servers in my opinion its probably a poop marketing move to get people to rent nitrado servers since you need a hell of a pc to do a server without one. WC has been moving comments and posts here for a min now tell your friends to join the discord. Anyone who played Cross ark ORP servers knows how popular they were

We ask for official pvp ORP servers and bug fixes and instead we get a event most people won't benefit from since official pvp is dead since most people don't have the time to play 24/7 and a reskin of the shadowmane that requires money to use? The OG shadowmane was still better NGL all due respect but you would have done better if it was a creature from the creature votes that's almost one 3 times or so now. I'm not looking for a job but when spots open up if you guys want someone who knows what the community wants lmk lol

Same, moved my comment here as well. Seems like alot of work just to move a request out of a thread. but whatever.

They have to hunt more meshers on smalls and conquest than they did for our servers. The only thing we really wanted was pin codes to be disabled.

I want to say one thing to those who are trying to organize something to make the ORP a reality. I think you should try to unite the ORP community with the HARDCORE community they are also waiting for their favorite mode like us, if we unite our requests it will definitely be easier. E

and perhaps it would also be useful to try to involve those people who would like primitive plus

I’m with you on that. Not giving this company a dime until we get what we want. Customer is always right unless it’s wildcard apparently. The wife and I each bought a copy of Asa , anticipating they would give us the old orp cross arks back. Asa is a scam. And snail/wildcard don’t gaf about us. I will never support this game again until they do. I’m absolutely disgusted with this company.

Does wildcard even look at their game suggestions? There seems to be a lot of people asking for these servers. We’re not asking for much here.

I’m done with this game until we get some official orp. Pve sucks. And pvp is just nothing but people wiping offline bases, thinking they are actually good players. There is literally no point in playing this game because all the progress you make will be lost to some jobless kid on summer vacation while you are hard at work cause you have bills to pay. 

I’ve tried regular pvp many different times. It’s fun while you’re online. But every time , usually within 24 hours, you get offline wiped. In this game there is no player versus player. It’s just players versus offline bases.

yeah we got game devs that don’t give an absolute **** about their loyal fan base who stuck with them and supported them all throughout ase. So many of us played on the orp cross ark for years, purchased their dlc solely for that cluster. Years of progress wiped in the snap of a finger and now we are forgotten and ridiculed anytime we bring it up. I get that the cross arks are not for everyone , but I don’t see a single one us orp supporters bashing on anyone else crying out for more pvp or pve servers. Atleast you all have some, we still have nothing. We want to have fun on this game again just like everyone else. Launching a few clusters isn’t going to hurt anyone. It’s profitable. And for the love of god , if you don’t like it don’t play it. But don’t belittle anyone who continues to ask just because you are tired of hearing it. We purchased the game , numerous times. We have every right to continue to demand the return of what was wrongfully taken from us.
