people need to learn to have patience. Today you want to have everything right away. Doing things takes time, you have to wait. Luckily the wait for ASA won't be too long: They already shut down the Ark Survival Evolved servers. This implies that they will open the Asa servers soon. Be patient. The desire to play ASA may be understandable but some of the comments here are very " imaginative " .

There is patience then there is a complete lack of communication / marketing any strategy whatsoever that is valid in anyones eyes and minds lol.

You seriously expect the community is going to sit back and watch NOTHING happen after having been told that the current official servers got nuked and we get bugger all transparency from WC and Snail until we start digging it up lol - WE knew snail was broke before any company here told us .... but yup we need to have patience.

So with no update this close to the alleged drop and the same mediocre postings that no one wants - popular theory is ASA won't drop on time and force everyone with ASE to go use a crap host site. We want answers on release, what's going happen to current ASE server providers, is the animated series ever coming out?

You know......I've had A.S.E. for about 8 years now; stopped playing official multiplayer after the first 2; and yet I've still barely experienced maybe 10-20% of the game's full content. Even with using cheats on single player to make the game easier, faster, and fix game breaking bugs; there's still sooooo much to do, explore, experience, and enjoy. I can play A.S.E. now on highest graphics to, which really is pretty good enough in the video game world as far as I'm concerned. (Wasn't able to on the computer that I first began playing it on.) A.S.A. on the other hand, will probably melt my computer at highest graphics; meaning I'll probably have to play it on medium or minimal settings; which would probably be close to the same as A.S.E. on medium or high settings. While the game experience improvements for A.S.A. mentioned are pretty cool, really they just rub me the wrong way; considering that they're all things that the Ark community has been asking them to do for A.S.E. since the very beginning, and which they consistently refused to do for absolutely no reason beyond simply not wanting to take the time to do them. Even so, most of these things can be added and fixed for A.S.E. simply by adding mods made by people who actually cared about the game and wanted to take the time and effort to make it better.

Hmmmmmmmmm..........................

Yeah, I've made my final decision. Really, I don't need A.S.A. or Ark 2. I mean, I've got like 80% more of A.S.E. to experience, Atlas to play which I've barely even done any sailing on, over 300 other video games on my Steam account to play, am considering getting Conan Exiles soon which is just a gigantic hoard of content. I mean; if A.S.A. ever goes on sale for like, $5, then I guess I'll pick it up just to have it. Same for Ark 2; if it ever does get made and released and goes on sale for like $5 then I guess I'll pick it up just to have it. But really, I have no entertainment needs to buy this game for since I already have A.S.E. and Atlas; and PixArk to I guess if you count that one. Even more importantly, I have absolutely no desire to give my money to such a blatantly ridiculous company.

I've been waiting for them to do something which would give me the desire to give them my money as I would like to invest in someone who's creating a game like Ark. Ark Survival Evolved and Bioshock compete at the top of my all time favorite video games list. But.....all they've done since the beginning of this year is give me reason after reason to not feel like giving them my money.

Sooooooo.............. Hey WildCard?! Let me know when A.S.A. goes on sale for, like, $5 yeah? I mean, free would be even better, but I'd at least be willing to give you some pocket change to put the game on my Steam Library Wall.

Until then, if I REALLY want to experience A.S.A. that badly, then I'll just watch Syntac play it on YouTube. That'll be good enough while I spend the NEXT 8 years experiencing the 80% of A.S.E. that I haven't gotten around to yet. By then, A.S.A. official servers will be permanently closed and you'll be releasing the re-remaster of A.S.E. which you'll call A.S.A.E. (Ark Survival Ascended Evolved). It'll be a fully immersive experience which we'll need Sci-Fi VR equipment for in order to play. I dunno if we'll need to use a full-on body suit with wireless interaction as the controller, or some kind of brain implant to go into the game subconsciously while our bodies lay in a special bed, or if we'll need a full-on Star Trek Hollo-Deck. All I know is that the hardware needed to play it will cost as much as a small car and while that might be possible for some, I'll be picking up the old retro gaming style A.S.A. for $5 instead and spending my time finally getting acquainted with it while I ignore the slew of terrible marketing strategy and community outrage that will undoubtedly accompany your release of A.S.A.E.
