TGO
Sorry if i hit the wrong sub. I just would like to know if these server specs would be sufficient to run a PC cluster of 4 maps with about 10 players in total. Fujitsu Primergy RX350 S7 Server 1x Xeon 8-Core E5-2670, 32GB DDR3 PC3-12800 (1600 MHz), 1TB SSD Thank you for your advice!
Larkfields
You should be ok with that. The general recommendation is 1 CPU core per map and 8 GB RAM per map. 1TB disk is plenty of space.
TGO
Thank you for the fast reply. I was not sure about the speed performance of the CPU cores
Larkfields
I'm guessing you'd be ok for about 5 people on a map before they start to see some lag. Each person on a map will consume some RAM and CPU, so the performance will look ok while no-one is logged in. Mods will also consume RAM and CPU - but I can't estimate their effect as I don't have mods on my server.
