possible issue with Ark Additions Mod on Fjordur?

I've been playing a modded game on Fjordur, and it seems like the Dinotherium from Ark Additions shares a spawn with Gigas and Carchas and is spawning in place of them, as I have seen no gigas and only 1 carcha over a period of several days, but have found dinotherium at their spawn locations almost every time.   has anyone else noticed this? or am I just confusing correlation and causation?  I have done several dino wipes as well to try to get them to spawn, but it hasn't seemed to help, and they're usually fairly easy to find on this map.
