Great octopus that amplifies the threat of reapers and Nameless!
I thought it was well thought out, at least it could work in both PvE and PvP!

I have an idea.
PvE players who don't elaborate on bases, equipment and weapons or small PvP tribes who can't afford it don't use dyes much, so other abilities would make them more attractive!
For example, a rather expensive medicine that would be considered as a compatriot against reapers and Nameless (function as an insect repellant) could be created in Palaeoctopus using aberrant resources such as reaper pheromone glands, Nameless poison and elemental ores, and valuable resources such as black pearls, which could be used to create a medicine that would function as an insect repellant against reapers and Nameless. The medicine is made from Palaeoctopus ink and drops at the scientific workbench. This is a medicine that gives the Nameless and Reapers a damage reduction when they are out of range of the normal insect repellant and charge light, and misidentifies them as compatriots rather than insect repellents.
The Nameless and Reaper King will not be hostile to individuals that are not crawling out of the ground, even if they are not in range of the charge light, and those that are crawling out will not be hostile to them unless they come into contact with them. However, alpha reaper kings, reaper queens, and elemental reaper kings will be exposed if they approach. The high cost of the item makes it very effective for a long time, but like beer, it triggers a disadvantage when it wears off, making it like Nameless. It would not be unnatural.
Alternatively, if the cephalopod's ink has antibacterial properties, it would be useful to use it as an antiseptic, or an organic polymer, or a poison for Nameless, such as wyvern milk, or the ability to transform it into a non-rotten version of longanshonk, etc.
Since these creatures live in the red zone and are resistant to radiation, it would be nice to have the ability to generate or disperse ink that makes the creature or player who tames it resistant to radiation.
