Electromyrmex beamingi is a prehistoric ant species that lived during the Eocene period, around 50 million years ago. It was discovered in the Florissant Formation in the state of Colorado in the United States.
The species was named after Willard L. Beal, who collected the first known specimen of this ant. Electromyrmex beamingi belongs to the subfamily Dolichoderinae, which also includes contemporary ants of the genus Dolichoderus.
