Suggestion

Name: Fox

Species: Vulpes quizhudingi

Time: Pliocene

Diet: Carnivore

Temperament: Skittish to Curious

Wild: Found around their Direwolf cousins, Vulpes quizhudingi is a more skittish yet curious vulpine, having survived the harshest of winters and arctic biomes. Notoriously little thieves as they steal food from unsuspecting survivors, and can make off with incomparable speed. They are extremely sought for pelt, as they can grow their fur to become warmer, but shed their fur in warmer climates.

Taming: If a fox gets curious enough to walk up to a survivor, they can take advantage of the moment and feed it, though it will take off to eat before coming back for more. Repeating this process makes the fox more comfortable to be around the survivor to be petted.

Domesticated: With a fox, their fluffy coats are heavily insulated and can act like a shoulder "scarf", helping struggle through the absolute zero temperatures of many arctic biomes. If fed special kibble or allowed to kill smaller animals, the fox may locate a digging spot and excavate whatever was left behind, such as weapons and armor. If your fox becomes too hot in warmer environments, you can use scissors to cut their fur down to help maintain their happiness. They are also very good at repelling smaller critters like the Microraptor and even the thieving seagulls. Like their Direwolf cousins, the Vulpes can sniff the area for loot caches.

Baby It's Cold Outside! How the Arctic Fox Survives Frigid Temps | HowStuffWorks

ARK Meta:

Shoulder Insulation: In especially colder environments, the Arctic fox can keep survivors warm, depending how much its fur has grown back from a shedding. If you and your fox get too hot, be sure to cut their fur with scissors so you can still take it with you.

Loot Digger: Similar to the ARK-aeology event with the fossil dig spots, when you feed foxes eggs, the fox can track random dig spots that occur around the world, eventually excavating a dog spot for the survivors to take whatever items was dug up. In PVP, the fox can really help you find loot crates buried in the ground, if chances are they are inaccessible due to many tribes taking them over, not solely relying on one specific position, making loot tracking wherever you'd like. Depending on the egg you feed the fox, from basic to large eggs, will range in whatever items your fox will dig up in quality, basic eggs to common items, large eggs to become a random chance to be an ascendant loot dig.

Stealth Pouncer/Anti-Thief: Like its modern counterpart, the Vulpes can pounce on smaller creatures such as dodos, glowpets and even the Microraptor. The fox can also pounce at incoming thieving dinosaurs like the Pegomastax and Ichthyornis when you least expect it, or even stop bugs who dare come too close.

Scent Tracker/Silent Alarm: Like their Direwolf cousins, they can sniff the area around for potential threats and alert the players if a large predator or another survivor is nearby. (suggestion by PyroAnimus)

Greatings Survivors!

Let me introduce you the Arctic Fox - the white fox or snow fox  ❄️ 🦊

Highlights:

- It lives in the coldest parts of Ragnarok where temperature drops to deadly level

- Excellent animal tracker, the Arctic fox has such keen smelling that it can determine exactly where animals are

- It provides you excellent insulation when it wraps his tail around you

Reason to Add: We are sometimes spending hours and hours looking for a strong tame (high level Rex, Giga, Griffin, therezino or any other tame). Flying around the map, not even knowing if that desired creature spawned already or not. The Arctic Fox will be able to help you - leaving it on alarm mode in your base - let you know if that creature is there and which part of the map it is.

Dossier:

Common name: Arctic Fox

Species name: Vulpes Lagopus

Time: Pilocene Epoch ( 2.6 million years ago)

Diet: Carnivore

Temperament: Opportunistic

Wild:

Arctic foxes live in burrows to create shelter againts the cold and snow. It is well adapted to living in cold environments, and is best known for  its thick, warm fur that is also used as camouflage. It preys on small creatures, and it runs if he senses threats. The Arctic Fox has a keen sense of smell, and being a very smart creature, it doesnt forget. It can track down all kinds of creatures through the whole map.

Apperance:

It has a large and very fluffy Tail. Beautiful and cute, especially when it sleeps with his tail wrapped around itself. Of course the Arctic Fox is white, white with slight difference in shades.

Domesticated:

He is your best friend when it comes to taming

- Females can track carnivores while Males track herbovires. Just like with Gatchas (with resources), you have to tame the right kind of Fox to be able to track down your desired creature. Giga being a rare find for example - Maybe tuso also. Additionally it can be teached to track one extra creature (but the creature cannot be on the list of smells he already know from the map of Ragnarok), So for example if you transfer the Fox to Scorched Earth, it can be teached to track Phoenix by smelling a dead body of one.

- The more you level your fox, the more accurate it can to sense only the desired level creatures - You could set up the level range in the Fox's alarm settings

- You can leave the fox on alarm mode in your base, and when that creature spawns on the map, it let you know - just like a Parasaur when it senses the enemy.

- Ready to go: You can store your tranq arrows and darts, narcotics in the saddle (maybe able to craft narcotics in saddle??)

- When the temperature drops and you are about to die in the cold parts of Ragnarok, he can wrap his tail around you to create warmth and heal you up.

Taming:

A fun way to tame, you just have to be able to survive the cold weather in Ragnarok. Place a cage with a dodo or other small creature in front of the burrow, and let it jump on it :) and break the cage

Thank You Guys for Reading
