WILD

In the wild Cristatusaurus roams the vast desert for days without food or water. This is thanks to its slow metabolism and ability to store water along its spine. Once this reservoir is full the animal gains a pretty blue hue along its back. Cristatusaurus can also utilize this water by turning it into a projectile. This projectile is expelled in the form of a giant blob that can stun Wyverns and even Rock Golems. This makes Cristatusaurus one of the few creatures that can rival Wyverns and Rock Golems on the ARK.

DOMESTICATED

Once tamed the Cristatusaurus can also utilize its throat pouch by not only storing water but also tames and survivors. This can be extremely useful because the pouch not only protects survivors from the elements but it can also be used as a sniper hut. Once inside the pouch, a survivor can peer out the gaping maw of the Cristatusaurus and shoot an enemy while the Cristatusaurus uses its large tail to lessen damage by as much as 75%

Taming Method:

Cristatusaurus would be a knockout tame but it requires one of the rarest resources on Scorched Earth, that being water. The animal's insatiable taste for water has made it impossible to tame unless you have a lot of canteens.

General Info:

Cristatusaurus (Cristat) would be an amazing tame for both pve and pvp, its water projectile has the ability to stun opponents very briefly and it's tail blocking ability makes it all that much more potent as it can be commanded to block either on the ground or on the tame, making the water stun more annoying for others because the Cristat can also still spit when blocking, furthermore as stated in the dossier, you can climb inside the Cristat's jaws and shoot out of it's mouth while the animal takes all the blows! This large throat pouch is also useful because of the fortitude it provides for the player, even more useful is the player can whistle "go here" from inside the animal's mouth, making travel less tedious! The Cristat also has really good weight for hauling around tames and water and thus makes it good at combat and storing resources on long journeys. The Cristat only has one attack besides the water projectile, using those massive claws and jaws to damage the enemy.
