otra forma de dormirlo sería ablandando su coraza para que este pueda recibir daño de flechas,ya que este es inmune a todas excepto las de fuego le hacen 50%mas de daño y las de metal que le hacen un 50% menos de daño.

A small, desert-dwelling dinosaur with hard armor and a swift sprint. Could be tamed using berries, vegetables, or other similar foods. I personally think that it would be more interesting if you tamed it by feeding it (like a lystro or moschops), rather than knocking it out and then taming it. Would be a smaller animal and possibly could ride on shoulders. Would be a breedable species that would lay eggs. Would be common in a couple of different colors, ranging from grays, to dark reds and maroons, to even pale blues. All in all, I think this would be a fun and interesting creature to add to the Ark universe, and I think it is a great idea.

The generic name, "Jakapil", is derived from "Ja-Kapïl", a Puelchean word meaning "shield bearer". This is also the literal meaning of the clade name Thyreophora. The specific name, "kaniukura", means "crest stone" in Mapudungun, in reference to its uniquely deep jaw.^[1]

Jakapil Kaniukura - The Armoured dino Grenade

Tamed:  A tamed Jakapil is more than your typical cute n cuddly shoulder pet. Sure it curls up n sleeps on your bed n regulates tempeature around you, but once deployed off your shoulder it hurls itself at high speed directly at whatever target is infront of you, like a little armoured torpedo or explosive javelin that hits the ground running at high speed, deploying it's own elemental explosion on impact. With a small window of homing in. This attack however. will briefly render your pet unconscious leaving it vulnerable to attack. It's high armoured skin will allow it to be thrown inside of turrets but it's ability is not damaging enough to damage turrets. And once unconscious becomes an easy target.

- Upgrade melee to slightly increase elemental damage.

As a shoulder pet, the Jakapil curls around the players arm and acts as a armoured shield. Sliding itself into the shield slot and becomes an effective light armour shield. Not as effective as a metal shield.However once its completely drained of durability it will deploy its elemental radius attack immediately upon death. This slot change enables the option of a secondary shoulder pet.

Double tap shield button to deploy as torpedo.

- Upgrade health to increase shield durability.

All Variants provide insulation like an otter the more extreme temp use a biome appropriate Variant as a shoulder pet.

Desert Variant - Deploys a small radius of heatwave and sandstorm. Found in deserts.

Swamp Variant - Deploys a poisons gas that blinds n slows (like plant x). Found in swamps.

Lava Variant - Deploys a lava like explosion cluster. that sets enemies on fire. Found near pools if lava.

Snow Variant -  Deploys small radius of a blizzard, causing extreme cold and slows target. Found in snow.

Aberrant Variant - Deploys a small radius of hallucinogenic gas that suffocates target. (Like ab mushrooms) Found in Radiation Zones.

Lightning Variant - Deploys a small radius of lightning, temporarily immobilises target and may knock out (like electric prod). Can turn off one turret. Found in wyvern Trenches.

Wild:  In the wild they are neutral until provoked and will attack and leap at high speed and deploy their special ability on any predators which if doesn't kill their attacker it will make them temporarily flee. Jakapil attacks whilst not very effective on dinos can be quite deadly to humans and small dinos.

Taming:  To tame this little beast you will need to let it attack you. Rendering itself unconscious where u must quickly feed its appropriate food before it wakes back up, where it will flee until it calms and then once it regains aggro on you, you can begin taming again.

PREFERRED FOODS. otherwise use Vegetables. Or bio toxin.

I love this creature.

I have soo many ideas for a creature like this.

1. Weight reduction 50% similar to sinomacrops

2. Rides on your back or hold as a shield and provides 25-50% damage reduction of flame throwers or wyvern fire. Not necessarily against ice poison or any of the other breath attack but just the fire would be an amazing tool in alpha wyvern hunting being all alphas in ark 1 are fire. Magmas fall in this group as well. The shield feature would be amazing if it functioned the same way as the actual shield. Working simultaneously w the sword club torch and whip

3. The ability to roll into a ball and pick him up and throw him. This is a very small creature and could be useful throw into tight spaces kinda like the mesopithecus. It may not have the same finger dexterity but can maybe soak turrets on a very small scale. Not like an anky stego or turtle but more like a moschops or human holding a decent metal shield if the jaka is fully imprinted and level in health and held as a shield it would function about the same as a apprentice or ramshackle quality metal shield. Maybe journeyman if you get some breeding going.

4. Temp regulations. Maybe not as good as the otter but something similar. Maybe an extra weight reduction on water jars (beer?) Or the ability to fill all canteens in its inventory if taken underwater. Longer decay times on iced canteens would be a great tool in the desert 

Taming.

Skiddish temperment. Aggressive in groups w babies. Herbivorous/omnivorous

Isolate from the pack and force it to roll into a ball. Similar to the doed but w torpor so a whip or a club might be ideal. While wearing ghillie so it doesn't see you crouch and approach and hand feed it organic poly.. It loves that stuff! You know the stuff the mantis drop.... Then it will un roll and wander a lil bit. Follow and feed again a few more times and bam you got one of the best early game tames you can ask for in a harsh environment.
