Player inventory while mounted

Just started playing some days go on Switch. Before that on PS4.

Love being able to play Ark on-the-go. Thanks for polishing it on the Switch.

 

Since I'm coming from Ps4, there's still some adjusting to the controls and such.

My question is:

How do you access the player inventory while mounted?

I can access the dino's incentory just fine, but I haven't figured out yet how you get into the player's inventory.

 

So far I've had to hop off and then back on dinos every time I need to switch gear or equip new armor set to replace the broken one.

This is troublesome especially on fliers - need to land somewhere safer before donning fur armor on to keep the cold out.

 

It might be something obvious I've missed.

There are two 'tabs', the mount's inventory, and yours.  When mounted, it automaticlly opens the mount's inventory, but you can switch easily by clicking 'You' on the top.  ('You' is above the saddle slot.)  I hope I explained this okay.

No worries your explanation was just what I needed. It was right there all the time but did not realize.

Figures things would be a tad much different on different consoles.
