Princypalaby

Suggestion

In-game Name: Rodrigues-Solitaire

Species: Pezophaps solitaria

Diet: Herbivore

Rodrigues-Solitaire is a flightless bird that lived during 1691–1693 on the Rodrigues Island, east of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean.

It had a strong, slightly curved beak, which it used to eat fruit and defend itself against other Rodrigues Solitaires.

Appearance:

The Rodrigues Solitaire are similar to dodos and in real life they were swan-sized, however, in the Ark they would be larger than in reality, being larger than even Dilophosaurs, but still being able to be carried by Survivors. Also in real life, there would be sexual dimorphism, males would be stronger and larger, while females would be smaller. They would have plumage with a lot of detail, they would use all possible color regions, but wild ones would have basic colors, the males would have a white belly with the rest of it brown, while the females, normally white.

In-game Skills:
Protect and Serve: Within the radial wheel, there would be an option called "protect when throwing", take a Solitaire, when you had a creature in front, a crosshair would appear, then play Solitaire, it and the others solitaries would surround, using their wings as a way to threaten, a certain creature that was unconscious or passive. If it's a passive creature that runs away (like a horse), the solitaires would make it not run away and that you can interact with. If any creature tries to attack, the solitaries would defend and push the invader away, however, if it is an alpha or tamed creature THAT is being ridden, it will not flee. Perfect for defending that precious Giga you're taming!

Effect Attacks: using their legs and sharp beaks they will make attacks that stun small creatures (Survivors NOT included) and slow medium and large creatures for a while.

Spit of Seeds: All the Berries that the Solitaries would eat would leave the seeds in the inventory, using those same seeds, you will be able to activate in the radial wheel a turret mode, where they would spit seeds to creatures and Survivors, even mounted in saddles.

Rip and Tear Equipment: If Solitaries attacked a Survivor, the attacks will deal Damage Per Second to armor as well as equipment in the inventory.

Are you out of space to carry them? No problem! Just throw them, likewise to protect an unconscious dino, on some creature of yours that he will be hanging on to it, being carried by it (to drop it just whistle in the Solitaire that will jump), and, like the dodo, you can catch it. it and mount on some other creature, practical and fast!

Passives:
They would have space in the inventory for a kind of armor, which would protect Solitaire against all types of attacks, even elemental attacks.
They would have a kind of band bonus, which would increase damage resistance, both for them and for allied creatures nearby.

Domestication:

It would be similar to Dinopithecus, however, it would have to separate the males from the females, and the two would have different ways of domesticating:
Females: apart from males, they could easily be tamed with fruits or regular kibble, passively or from K.O.
Males: As they are very temperamental, they only accept being tamed if the survivors are "inferior" to them, but at the same time, worthy of their company. First, throw seeds at them, then lie down on the ground and, wearing a flak helmet, let it break, better helmet, more taming percentage, however, if the helmet is too strong and doesn't break before finishing the taming, Solitaire will gain more affinity, gaining even more levels than the maximum allowed, reaching 130% affinity. If it breaks, Solitaire will move away a little and start making fun of you, at this point, put on another helmet, throw the fruits and lie on the ground. Repeat until he sees that you are worthy of his defense.

ARK META:

Their status would be equivalent to Dinopithecus, they would be so strong as to be able to use it in battle against bosses, even more so with armor that would protect against elemental attacks, Solitaire would be able to win, and even easily, against the fearsome Dragon Boss.

In PvP, they would be great for defending that absurdly large base, or even the smallest ones, since they can easily fit anywhere, and they are also good for caves, defending you from creatures like spiders and bats while you get the artifact!
