Dsungaripterus, the Vulgar Mobile Turret

Rutiodon

Suggestion

Dsungaripterus is a exceptionally vile pterosaur. Larger than their counterparts in the fossil record, Dsung is nearly as large as an Argentavis on the Arks. Fond of eating corpses too far gone for any other creature, it seems that Dsungs subsists almost entirely on rotten meat and bone, which it eagerly devours to excess. Despite being a pterosaur, Dsung is a very poor flier and spends the majority of it's time on the ground. When provoked, they are capable of vomiting their stomach contents with a horrific amount of force, blinding attackers before flying off to safety.

As a tame, if you can tolerate the nauseating stench, Dsung can actually be quite useful. It's bite is bone shattering, and while not inflicting a bleeding effect to cause damage over time, it will slow a target down. While it can't fly nearly as well as any other flier, it's much more useful on the ground than they are and can still use it's flight to get to safety when needed in an emergency. It's gluttonous appetite for rot allows it to harvest spoiled meat and keratin in droves, but it's main utility is it's vomit. By default, it will regurgitate it's stomach contents to blind and slow it's foes, similar to a Dilophosaur but with far greater force. However, it can be trained to swallow and vomit either stone or flint to function as either a more powerful slingshot or bow respectively. It's not as effective, but it's cheap and dirty, fitting for such a beast.

There are even rumors of them being trained to swallow and vomit forth cannonballs, though not as efficiently as an actual cannon. Maybe with some training and selective breeding, they could prove more effective...

Slight rework of the original concept, adding the cannon shot and the bonebreaking bite to give it a bit more oomph. By default, while capable of firing cannonballs from it's gullet, it's not nearly as powerful as an actual cannon. However, unlike a cannon, it can be leveled and selectively bred to bring it to a real terror. A draw back is that cannonballs actually weigh 3 times more in it's inventory, to indicate the strain it puts on the animal.
