Diprotodon - The Giant Wombat!

The Diprotodon is a Pleistocene marsupial from Australia. The Diprotodon could be found all over any map, but they prefer swamps and desert oasis habitats. The Diprotodon can be used as an all terrain pack animal. Gaining a hydration bonus to help defend it while traversing the landscapes of the ARKs, and has a very hefty saddle unlocked at around lvl. 40. It also has weight reduction on most raw materials including fibre, thatch, wood, and stone, with considerable weight to boot. It has a bite attack that can harvest berries, thatch and seeds. It also has a stomp that can harvest fibre and wood, and does knock-back to creatures smaller than a Baryonyx. The saddle can carry two people, plus has additional pockets for shoulder pets, and the ability to whistle them from the saddle allowing for easy transport. The Diprotodon also has a an immunity to swamp fever and leech damage, but the ability to auto pick off leeches, while getting leech blood in return, making it an efficient way to obtain the blood. All in all, the Diprotodon is probably the all terrain pack tame that can see through many tough travels across the ARK.

Ark needs to complete it's collection of Australian megafauna and marsupials. We have the procoptodon, thylacoleo and megalania but we need the diprotodon. Diprotodon was the largest marsupial ever discovered. It was native to Australia and would have had to deal with predators such as Thylacoleo. It was a large wombat like creature. Diprotodon would be able to tank most damage. It takes 30% damage reduction from the Thylacoleo's bleed and would have the ability to sniff out resources such as berries, fiber or seeds, meaning that if you would like to gather a specific resource you use left click to make it sniff out that resource. If you would like to tame a Diprotodon you must have to passive tame it with giant bee honey (sort of like with the Andrewsarchus) the saddle is unlocked at level 43 and would be able to carry two players. You would be able to find Diprotodon on all the Arks except for Aberation. they can be found everywhere but mainly spawn in redwoods and in large open grasslands. The diprotodon may even have a breeding ability similar to the procoptodon or maewing because the diprotodon also has a pouch that they used to hold their babies in.

Diprotodon is the largest known marsupial to have ever lived. It grew as large as 1.8 m (5 ft 11 in) at the shoulders, over 4 m from head to tail, and possibly almost 3,500 kg  in weight. It supported itself on elephant-like legs to traverse long distances, and was able to colonise most of Australia. The digits were weak, and most of the weight was probably borne on the wrists and ankles. This would (in ark fashion) be upscaled to become even bigger than many large creatures.

Although Diprotodon looks like a megatherium, it would not be as strong of an attacker, but it would have an incredible weight, stamina, harvest amount, and of course tons of health. It would be a great choice for a late game harvester, specialising in berries and wood, where it uses its buck-teeth. As a reference to its ancient herd nature, it would spawn in groups of 3-5, and would attack players who tried to fight their friends. But if they were found alone, Diproton would run away, at a speed fast for its size. They would be found in plains, and sometimes in deserts.

Temperament: Neutral

Size: Up to 3.8 m long (head-tail) and 1.7 m at the shoulder. 2,800kg

Fighting: very strong bite. • when harvesting vegetation, has a chance of harvesting roots (savoroot / rockarrot) directly, not just their seeds.

I don't think this idea would really be unique enough, it's really just a mammoth in terms of niche without offering anything new.

I would've personally designed Diprotodon as a reference to Badger Moles from Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Essentially, being in such a hostile environment that is the ARKs, Diprotodon had to dig like its modern wombat relatives, and it got really good at it. So good in fact, that it almost can "earthbend". Diprotodon, wild or tame, have a natural affinity for manipulating soil, and they do it with their snot! Diprotodon mucus seems to have unique interactions with dirt, turning it rock solid in a flash.

Diprotodon would have a digging "attack" where it would be able to stock up on soil, which could then be used in various abilities:
- Dirt Wall, a temporary structure that can provide cover from ranged weapons. The wall could last for 5 minutes before crumbling
- Dirt Armour, where the Diprotodon coats itself in a layer of dirt that increases damage resistance by 30%, at the cost of 30% decreased movement speed. Armour could last for 5 minutes.
- Dirt Snare, where the Diprotodon throws soil at a creature, then sneezes on it, instantly turning it solid and trapping it in place. Would most likely only work on the same targets a net projectile can immobilise. The snare would last for 1 minute.

Its full kit would look like this:
- Left Click: A bite that deals a decent amount of damage and can harvest berries and wood (to keep some parts of your concept)
- Right Click: Digging mode. Deals no damage, and requires dirty or sandy terrain to work. Diprotodon will fill up its soil meter as long as you hold down right click. Maximum soil capacity could be linked to the weight stat.
- C Click: Dirt Wall. Requires dirt to function
- Spacebar: Dirt Armour. Requires dirt to function
- X: Dirt Snare. Requires dirt to function

It would most likely be a little large than the size of a Stegosaurus, with a huge, front heavy build to reference its digging lifestyle. May do art for it soon.

Gives protection against Thylacoleo's pouncing and can detect them from a distance. 

Can make burrows underground for protection and to store items and creatures.

The ultimate gatherer: Can harvest lots of fibre, berries thatch and wood and has the harvesting quantity wheel in inventory.

Gets rivalry buff against big predators like the trike.

Il Diprotodon Will depone le uova nel bioma della savana del deserto e anche nelle foreste come la sequoia
