Name: Daspletosaurus torosus

Diet: Carnivore

Group: Tyrannosauridae

Daspletosaurus torosus was a large carnivorous dinosaur from the mid cretaceous. Like it's later cousin, Tyrannosaurus, it had a powerful jaw with bone crushing teeth. It was fast and similar in size with megalosaurus and allosaurus. It lived  and hunted hadrosaurs, ceratopsians and co-existed with gorgosaurus. It lived in the plains with rivers and streams.
