EDGYDROMAEOSAURID Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 I love it Nekatus immersive in the Ark world but wayyyy to PvE in my opinion it's a very scenic creature though and pretty

But, I'll bite. What would a PvP mechanic look like? Is there no PvP mechanic that could be added in the theme? Do PvPers have no use for Rock Drakes, Magmasaur, Wyverns or any other dino with specialized baby foods and would not benefit from breeding up heavily mutated breed lines without having to transfer to a specific map for the baby food where they may not be heavily defended? Perhaps they could make it tanky, or give it a herd bonus, for those big cross server raids. Also, maybe one of the cheeses made from it's milk could provide a raiding buff.

Now the cracks in the dam have formed and I'm just gonna sit back and watch the show, maybe take a chisel to it every now and then for a giggle. I didn't partake in the voting past couple times. I was only able to watch it due to irl taking precedence at the time. Anyways my point is this. Voting is pointless if something else gets put in that didn't earn it via the votes. Now idk if Carcha or that sinomacrops thing even won their votes or not. But honestly I like most of the creatures in top 10 right. I think the Gorgonopsid and its proposed tracking ability would be a unique addition to Ark. Both in PVE and maybe also PVP. The bison though also has its merits. But for all intensive purposes I threw my vote in with the former. If gorgonopsid doesn't win then this bison would be a close second for me.
PedroSurviver2009 Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 It is awesome the abilities of the bison. Really haver a big número voting It. Is a awesome of creature tô bem added. It makes milk to feed babies.
TheLorenzo12 Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 Imagine being able to drive these with the bullwhip. Control (or at least move) entire herds wild and tamed, and give your cart/wagon a speed boost! Also, like someone mentioned, using the horse lasso to help tame would be fun and give the lasso a little more purpose. Maybe the lasso could help calm it and let you get close enough to jump on and ride... I could see this animal adding a lot of fun gameplay elements and unique situations, especially with the platform wagon and the stampede mechanic. Also super useful around the homestead/base
JafarText Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 Even though the bison isn’t going to win, it’s always been my favorite since it’s debut, and I hope that it gets added into the game like the carchar did.

With you on that too guv, but now that they've invalidated votes not once but twice by adding losing submissions anyway the floodgates have been opened. Vote integrity has sadly gone the way of the dodo

PVP players have destroyed several good creatures by complaining so much that Wild Card did nerf them. Maybe if its more PVE they wont have to nerf it. And IF this creature get added its not sure Wild Card do it as all the suggestion are. they might do there own version with ability's. Many people hated that the sinomacros would come. but now everyone love it. i to was very skeptic to the sinomacros. but its very good.

CptJeiSparrow Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 Take my vote. I'd especially like to see something that helps support people raising babies that require unique food like Wyverns, Crystal Wyverns, Drakes and Magmasaurs. But also the idea of a Cart/Carriage Saddle that could have perhaps one stagecoach-style driver and perhaps four passengers in the back would be a really cool and unique addition to the game.
ExPs Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 I would like to see the Bisons Milk have more of a purpose like to speed up growth by 0.5 for creatures like on the Mission on Gen 2 for 6 hours, make people really wanna tame these guys. It also should stack with the Mission on Gen 2, just a thought.
helioss9 Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 Hey i just wanted to Say that i really like the Idea but i think thé bison should'nt be in this community vote, not because its Bad but because we need Real dinos that gives even more to the game, and the bison even if its cool for pve is use would be kinda meh... I have experience the same that you have all propose for the bison in Atlas(the dead brother of ark) and it was kinda lame but i think this dino should have been aded way before when dire Bears and Wolf have been aded because it would have made more diversity in the begining of ark and now were close to ark2 and so i think we should have a dino that really impact the last month of the game, still this is my opinion and you Can disagre with me.
ONIXxCrow Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 Super important! Must have ability! After tamed you should be able to activate it's bucking mechanic and if you ride successfully for 8 seconds you should get a rodeo buff. It should give you a big damage resistance for a period of time! It should be a challenge to ride but well worth it! Maybe similar to catching a fish so its unpredictable and with all the woos and yeehas! I will except no excuses this must be done. Thank you.
LittleSpicyOreos Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 Not sure if anyone else suggested it but my husband was saying that with the "cow pies" idea maybe they could be dried by cooking them and then they could be used to produce a lot of charcoal and also burn, themselves, as fuel for a very long time. Also, since we have the owls that produce a natural fertilizer maybe the cow pies as fertilizer could be similar but maybe they poop out two of them at once, whereas the owls only do one pellet at a time?
Aloisio89 Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 Nice!!! And the milk can be store in refrigerator for longer time, like 1 or 2 days each bottle, diferently from Wyvern milk. But the female cattle produce 1 bottle every 5 hours, and when feed baby wyverns it only give 1/3 of food points compared to wyvern milk, and this will making you to choice: grow up cattle and store more milk to raise wyvern babies spending more time, or knockdown wyvern females like old way and nothing change: pick more milk bottles at same time, with most powerfull food increase but no durability to spoil.
Tschon Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 I wouldn't mind this if it had a wagon with the ability to pack and unpack small bases. For those of who want to live like nomads and move around instead of being stuck in one spot. It would also work well in pve and pvp allowing people to make small shops or fobs and move easily from server to server. Also great for solo players need certain materials just move the base to where your collecting said materials.
SirIndoraptor Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 Not to hate but don’t see this as a good and game changing creature in anyway and btw u can see it in real life and u cannot see a nothosaurus or a bastion nettle in real life, but that’s just my opinion I just like a cool and game changing creature and not a boring bison that I can literally find in my backyard if I’m lucky. But if u voted for it please let me know why and maybe u can convince me to vote for the bison:)

When you have a large group, a herd, and they being to move as one, they can perform a stampede. A stampede is an attack where the herd runs down/over the target, doing damage and keeping it off balance, so that it cannot attack effectively. This could be useful in PVE and PVP. The stampede would be proceeded by the thundering sound of hooves and the staking of the ground. The stampede could be expand for PVP, where it can cause structural damage; bigger the herd, the more damage and the wider the AOE. A large herd could trample thatch with ease, bust through wood structures with little issue, and even weaken stone, possible even metal, due to the ground shaking and impact. This is a brilliant idea, because now it becomes a lot cooled than just resource building, and quick level up, but now has the ability to be used by those who enjoy tearing up peoples bases, now this bison, that normally could only be kept in one place, can be used in wars, raids, and trading
