servers

Lots out there to choose from, but for my honest opinion, you should take a look at some reveiws of different servers offered. Try not to get sucked up into just one because a youtuber did it. Heck, most of them get paid to hype up a server company, or at least a fat discount on the one they use, but in the end you should keep 3 things in mind.

1.) Actual physical location of the server your going to use.....the one closest to you is less likely to have lag, at least if its a fairly reputable service or company.
2.) Cross check multiple reviews. Don't just settle for one review. Check multiple sources, information, and see if anyone talks about "Suprise fee's, hidden charges, or unexpected changes in contracts"
3.) While im not going to say go for the most expensive service possible, try to get solid mid grade setup. Yeah it might be a tad bit more pricey, but ark loves machines with good RAM setups. A modern or last gen CPU is ok, and a high speed storage device {A plain SSD should be good enough} is also ok, but when it comes to server's for ark, RAM is the chokehold on a good gaming experience.

Take my advice on this much, do your research and homework on the matter. Yeah a month might only be $40 right now with nitrado servers doing a 25% savings code, but if you paid that 40 all year, thats nearly $500. Not exactly cheap, and you sure as heck don't want to be paying those fee's just for a laggy juttery mess.
