Ark Survival Cluster server help on Linux (LGSM Debian)

Hi guys,

I am trying to do up a cluster of 2 different maps in the same physical server but different users (i.e 2 instances with different users, arkserver1 and arkserver2). I can successfully see both the clustered servers when trying to transfer characters, but when trying transfer over to the different map, it prompts me to spawn survival and then it just goes to create new character screen instead of spawn my existing character. I have pointed my -ClusterDirOverride to /home/cluster/ for both instances, and added both users to a group (ark), and set the cluster folder group to ark as well.

However, I noticed that the file created under the shared cluster folder will have a permission of read and write for owner only, hence when the other server (user) tries to read the character file, it can't. If I manually change permission to read and write for group or others, then I am able to download the survival from the other server. 

Is this supposed to happen, and is there any way to solve this?

Do you need to use two accounts for the two maps?
If you do, umask might help with default file permissions.
