Is mutagen levels bound to the breed line or is it bound to the stats

So say I feed a TAMED dino mutagen for the extra levels and breed it with a dino that did not receive mutagen.

If the offspring received the first dinos health and melee stats but not the weight and stam, will the weight and stam still receive an extra 5 levels ontop of the second dinos stats  (bound to breed line)

 

or will the mutagen buff be lost on those stats entirely and only receive the base stats of the second dinos? (stat bound)
