Auto turrets are just unable to be placed on them. But it would be nice if they allowed them to be placed on platform saddles of terrestrial tames. Their limited mobility opposed to the Quetzal's nearly unlimited mobility balances out the auto aiming of turrets. Plant turrets also now consume fertilizer, but they don't take a lot. Someone did the math on Youtube, and I think they only use 50 per shot. Given that Fertilizer has a value of 54k, you've got easily over a thousand shots before the turret is drained. With multiple Plants shooting at a target, there's always the chance to kill the target sooner with less Fertilizer used. Doeds can't infinitely tank turret shots anymore, there's going to be some Giga 'TLC' coming soon according to Drake, we're going to be able to 'build' on the Redwood trees and bunch of other stuff.
